"Cheese In The Trap" is a drama about Hong Seol, an introverted girl, and Yoo Jung, the most popular guy in college. Unlike everyone else, Seol wasn't fooled by Yoo Jung's fake smile and he noticed that in her. At first, Yoo Jung decided to make her life hell, making everything difficult for her, until Seol decides to drop out of school for a while. When she returns, it's as if Yoo Jung is a different person and he's determined to make her fall in love with him.

Yoo Jung is manipulative, cold and calculating, he has all the characteristics of a psychopath and that was one of the things that caught my attention the most about this drama, seeing a person like that trying to change for someone he fell in love with. It also has to do with the way people treated Yoo Jung, no one was sincere with him, everyone wanted something from him, friendship, closeness, it was never something real and pure, so he reciprocated in the same way.

The whole situation with Young Gon, Seol's stalker, was the worst thing Yoo Jung did during the drama. It was when he didn't like Seol and maybe he didn't imagine that Young Gon was that crazy, but Yoo Jung's white lie was what created all this and then In Ha pretending to be him, since she stole his phone, saying that Seol was playing hard to get, that if he kept insisting, eventually she would give in. I know Yoo Jung didn't care much when he did this, because the rest was all In Ha, but when Seol finds out the truth, that it was all his plan, he finally realized that his actions hurt.

The second lead syndrome was heavy in this drama, In Ho is very charming, how can you not fall in love with him? Only he could make the nickname "dog fur" something cute. HAHAHA'
But at the same time, I couldn't root for him, since Yoo Jung was much more lonely, he had no one by his side, while In Ho had In Ha, even though she was completely crazy.

Speaking of In Ha, she is a very intriguing character, because she is complex. At first you don't think so, she seems like a spoiled rich girl, but she is full of insecurities, traumas and problems that she simply ignored. That's what ended up culminating in the end where she freaked out, threw Seol in front of a car and almost killed her on an impulse.

The only mistake in this drama is the ending. The audience deserved more than that simple email implying that Yoo Jung was still there, after what Seol went through because of him, him leaving seemed like a very cowardly attitude to me and him not showing up until the end made it even more so. I know he went because he was punishing himself, thinking that Seol's accident was like karma for everything he did to other people, but I wanted to see a redemption of the character, him coming back and saying that now it would be different. The ending is quite disappointing and ends up ruining the drama a bit.

"Goblin" is a romance drama between a girl named Eun Tak and a lonely goblin named Kim Shin.

Ji Eun Tak lost her mother at a young age and has had the ability to see and hear the dead since she was little. This ended up leaving her isolated from others, since she could not identify with anyone and did not have a single person by her side. This all changes when she meets Kim Shin, a goblin, and discovers that she is destined to be his bride. Eun Tak uses this opportunity to run away from her aunt's house and as they spend more time together, the two end up falling madly in love.

The problem is that Kim Shin lied about the bride's purpose, that in fact her mission was to finally let him die. Eun Tak runs away furious at having been deceived, but it is at this moment that the two become a real couple, with Kim Shin going after Eun Tak, confessing his true feelings and teeling her that now he has no interest in dying!

The romance between Eun Tak and Kim Shin is simply epic, the best couple I've seen in over 16 years of watching kdramas. Their chemistry on screen is wonderful, they manage to be cute and fun, but also intense and full of passion for each other. Kim Shin's death scene is extremely painful, it hurts so much to see him die like that, but the scene itself is spectacular, indescribably beautiful.

The whole process of Eun Tak remembering Kim Shin when he manages to come back to life is great, because from that moment on the couple's rhythm changes completely, because Eun Tak is no longer a student and the two can move on to the next step in their relationship, but when everything seemed perfect, fate could not be kind to this couple and Eun Tak ends up sacrificing her life to save others. If I had already cried with Kim Shin's death, Eun Tak's death manages to be even worse, because she wasn't sad about leaving, but rather about leaving him alone. The last scene is so good that it warms your heart, with them meeting again, with the new incarnation of Eun Tak who kept her promise to go after him first.

In addition to the romance, the drama is full of humor, I lost count of how many times I laughed at the bromance between Kim Shin and the Grim Reaper, these two formed a wonderful second couple. If I didn't love Eun Tak so much with him, I would root for Kim Shin to end up with the Grim Reaper. HAHAHA'

The drama is perfect in every human way possible: the story, the couple, there are funny, sad, romantic and intense moments and a soundtrack that embraces everything together. It's a story that leaves it's mark on you and you can never forget it.

"Mass is not proportional to volume. A girl as small as a violet. A girl who moves like a flower petal is pulling me toward her with more force than her mass. Just then, like Newton's apple, I rolled toward her without stopping until I fell on her. With a thump, with a thump. My heart keeps bouncing between the sky and the ground. It was my first love" <3

"Mercy For None" is a drama about Gi Jun, a former gangster who has lived in seclusion for 11 years, but when his brother suddenly dies, Gi Jun returns seeking revenge.

The drama only has eight episodes, and this ends up being one of its problems, because everything is developed too quickly, which greatly hinders the story. There was no effort whatsoever to show the past of Gi Jun and his brother Gi Seok, and for me, this was essential: to show their relationship, to make sense of Gi Jun's motivation for revenge, to show how much his brother mattered to him.

The fight scenes are very good, quite bloody, but they included too many, it was a bit overdone, and at one point I wondered if it was humanly possible for Gi Jun to endure all that over and over again. When he goes after Jun Mo, that scene is incredible because he was avenging his brother's death. It had meaning, but seeing him fight with basically the entire cast became repetitive, and Geum Son didn't convince me as the drama's villain; the character was very dull.

So Ji Sub is the perfect actor for an action drama; his movements as he kills are like a dance, you can't take your eyes off the screen. I loved seeing Lee Bum Soo acting again; the last time I saw him was in "LAST," and he's still as fantastic an actor as I remembered. <3

"When The Phone Rings" is a romance/thriller drama about Sa Eon and Hee Joo, two people with secrets who enter into a marriage contract.

Sa Eon is the president's spokesperson, a distant and cold person, who marries Hee Joo in place of her sister. Hee Joo is pretending to be mute because her mother is forcing her, saying that Hee Joo is to blame for In Ah becoming deaf. She also marries Sa Eon because of this same responsibility. In three years of marriage, the two never get close, they are almost like strangers living in the same house, but everything changes when Sa Eon receives a call from someone he calls "406", a person who is blackmailing him to divorce Hee Joo.

The blackmailer is someone who kidnapped Hee Joo, but she stole his phone and used it as an opportunity to escape from her prison… the problem is that after this starts happening, Hee Joo and Sa Eon eventually become a real couple, as all the secrets start to come out.

The couple has amazing chemistry on screen, one of the best I've ever seen in a drama, the passion between the two is fantastic, the kisses are really impressive. Sa Eon and Hee Joo's relationship is the highlight of the drama, especially since the rest of the story is a bit confusing.

We learn that Sa Eon is also just a substitute, that the people who raised him are not his biological parents and the blackmailer is the real Paik Sa Eon, who wants his place back. It was also because of the real Paik Sa Eon that Hee Joo and In Ah's younger brother died, because he saw him, that dirty family secret. If the story stopped there, it would be perfect, but it would have to add more and more things… That Sa Eon is actually part of that family, he is Sa Eon's real uncle.

I don't even know what to say about this ending with Hee Joo going after Sa Eon in a country on the other side of the world, as if Sa Eon was some secret agent… even though the kiss was spectacular, the scene was weird. HAHAHA'

Like I said, the couple is amazing, they are definitely the reason why the drama is worth watching, but the drama has a lot of mistakes in the development of the story. One of them is with the second lead, who doesn't appear on screen. I thought Sang Woo was someone who liked Hee Joo, but he didn't even try to win her over and we only see him sometimes… it's almost like he was content with Yu Ri and gave up on Hee Joo without even trying first. Also the weird story about Sa Eon's birth secret, that was just thrown into the narrative without any concern. It could have been better.

PS: I know people fell in love with Yoo Yeon Seok now, but he already won my heart in "Mr. Sunshine" <3

"Captivating The King" does everything, but captivating. HAHAHA'

Hee Soo has loved playing baduk since she was little, but since women back then were not treated as equals, she dressed up as a man in order to do so. Then, she met Jin Han when he was still just a prince and they instantly connected. The two started playing baduk together and Jin Han ended up falling in love, thinking that Hee Soo was really a man. Time passed, her father was framed for a crime he didn't commit and it was all because of Jin Han, who used his brother's death to take the throne and become king.

Hee Soo is a character who made no sense. She entered the palace to take revenge on the king, but she literally did nothing, just remained madly in love with him and forgot everything she had planned. Usually, in stories like this, there is always a misunderstanding between the characters, but this is not the case. Jin Han is actually guilty, everything that happened is his fault. In conclusion, Hee Soo is a stupid woman who can't control herself.

This was one of the most popular dramas in that year, but for me it was simply bad in every way. A couple with no chemistry and a confusing story.

I love Jo Jung Suk, but even he doesn't make it worth it. Shin Se Kyung is a beautiful woman, but she is not suitable for romantic dramas, she is terrible at them.

"Marry My Husband" is the story of Ji Won, a woman who feels inferior at work and at home. She supports her family, even though she is mistreated by her husband and mother-in-law. One day, Ji Won discovers that she has terminal cancer and, while she is in the hospital, she has no idea that her husband is cheating on her with Su Min, her best friend. She caught them together and was killed at that moment. In a twist of fate, Ji Won goes back in time to before all this happened and gets a second chance at life to change everything. The only problem is that she has to give her fate to someone else.

The interesting thing is not the time travel, as many dramas do that, but the issue of changing fate: she cannot change the things that will happen, but she can change the person it will happen to. Ji Won's plan is incredible: she saved herself and even got her revenge. Min Hwan and Su Min got what they deserved, and Ji Won got her happy ending.

Ji Won and Ji Hyuk are a cute couple with great chemistry, but for me the romance isn't the focus, since Ji Won's revenge plan is more important than that. Seeing her transform into a strong and independent woman, and no longer a victim, was worth it.

This was a drama full of controversies, the funny thing is that none of this was because of the story, but because of the actors. Let's be honest, this is ridiculous. I like South Korea, but I hate the importance of public opinion, the power they have in the entertainment world, to the point that anything can destroy someone's career... that's exactly why the suicide rate is so high.

Instead of focusing on Park Min Young and Na In Woo's amazing acting, the only thing people mentioned was Min Young's ex-boyfriend and that In Woo was too ugly to be the lead. Where does that make sense? But the important thing is really the drama, and I have to say that it's a great production.

"Desperare Mrs. Seonju" it's one more daily drama that brings nothing different, but entertains a lot, because it's funny to watch.

Pi Seon Ju is a married woman who finds out her husband is cheating on her and it's with the worst person possible: Jin Sang Ah, her nemesis in high school, someone who always tried to bring her down because of jealousy. Seon Ju tries to keep her husband Nam Jin by any means, especially because of her daughter, but nothing works and the two eventually get a divorce. Sang Ah is also married, but she fell out of love with her husband So Woo for a long time, basically after they adopted a baby, because Sang Ah can't have children and Tae Ri was the living example of her flaws, her defects.

Seon Ju and her family's lives turn totally upside down. She lost her job, her sister Mi Ju is involved in a car accident with Sang Ah's sister Chu Ah and they have to sell their house to pay the settlement. The person who buys their house is So Woo, they make a deal and the two families start to live together. That's how our story begins.

So Woo helps Seon Ju get a job where he works, but that's also where Sang Ah and Nam Jin also work, so these four people have to see each other every day, which brings a lot of conflicts. By spending time together and helping each other out, Seon Ju and So Woo start to have feelings for one another, but the problem is that Seon Ju has no idea that So Woo is Sang Ah's husband. So Woo finally gets a divorce and starts a relationship with Seon Ju for real, the two have a sweet and light romance and that's okay, because the drama focuses on the family concept, how So Woo, Seon Ju, Tae Ri and Ji Hyun became a family.

In the sidelines we have the romance between the other two couples, which are Seon Ju's sisters. Mi Ju and Woo Sang are a couple that I just didn't get. It's not that I didn't like them, they just were too boring, especially with Woo Sang's mother always complaining about them, saying that Woo Sang was too good for Mi Ju. On the other side, there's Jin Ju and Tae Sang. These two are cute and funny, but the drama didn't show much of them, which was a shame.

All the buried secrets eventually come out in the light and that is one of the reasons why I liked the drama: the chaos, the juice of a makjang. The truth behind Chu Ah and Mi Ju's accident, that Chu Ah was the culprit but let Mi Ju take the fall. Seeing her apologize in her knees was so good, especially after how she and her family treated Seon Ju's family, it was a satisfying revenge. But the highlight was in the live show, when Sang Ah's mother and Nam Jin's mother basically told every single lie that was hidden in the drama. How Nam Jin stole Seon Ju's lottery ticket and how Sang Ah's mother lied about everything to get married and stole what was Seon Ju's mother good deed.

The drama has one big mistake in my opinion, which is the characters birth secrets. Let's face it, it was too much. Basically all of the cast finds out they have different parents.
Starting with Mi Ju, who is the first to find out that she's not Man Eun's daughter. After that there's Sang Ah, who learns that she's really Soon Ae's daughter but her father is not Jung Bae, his real daughter is Seon Ju, who was switched in the hospital with Sang Ah by Soon Ae. And lastly there's Jin Ju, who is also not Man Eun's daughter. She raised three daughters who are not biologically hers. Adoption is a beautiful thing, but they could have just said they were adopted, they didn't have to have a birth secret. Speaking in adoption, we have Woo Sang and Tae Sang, who were adopted by Hye Ran and she is the lost mother of Jin Ju. That's the point in which the drama gets weird, the complicated family trees.
Man Eun's lost husband is not the father of any of her daughters and also is not the father of So Woo, but he's married to his mother, making him his stepfather, but technically he was married to Man Eun and she considered him the father of the girls. I know they are not blood related, but that leaves So Woo and Seon Ju almost like siblings. And also Jin Ju and Tae Sang. Hye Ran is the biological mother of Jin Ju, but she raised Tae Sang like a son and there's also Woo Sang, who finds out that he is the son of Soon Ae, making him Chu Ah and Sang Ah's half-brother.
It's a total mess, there's no way to make sense into this. I felt like Nam Jin's mother, literally drawing the families, trying to understand all of this. HAHAHAHA'

In conclusion, it's a good drama, the romance is light, it fits the story very well, but the whole thing about the birth secrets made the story confusing and made the truth about Seon Ju's birth father less important, which should have been the focus of the drama, their relationship was left aside.

"Second Husband" is a revenge drama that follows Seon Hwa, a young woman who can't let go of any injustice and always tries to help others. She lives with Sang Hyuk, the two are basically married and have a child together, everything seems perfect, until she finds out that he is cheating on her with Jae Gyeong, a coworker and intends to marry her.

Seon Hwa tries to hold Sang Hyuk back, but he was determined to marry Jae Gyeong, even her grandmother tries to interfere and ends up tragically dying. Not believing that her grandmother's death was an accident, Seon Hwa investigates and finds out the truth. In order to cover up her crime, Jae Gyeong frames Seon Hwa for another crime she committed and Seon Hwa ends up going to jail. When she finally gets out of jail, she finds out that her son Sae Byeok is dead. With the help of Jae Min, Seon Hwa makes her revenge plan to punish all those who destroyed her life.

The relationship between Jae Min and Seon Hwa is good, he really was the support she needed in those difficult times and it's clear that over time she would fall in love with him. The big problem is that there was no time in the drama for them to be a real couple. When Seon Hwa finds out that Jae Min was Jae Gyeong's brother, even though she liked him, she couldn't act on her feelings. Then with Sharon Park, she ended up marrying Jae Min, but it was a fake marriage and after that came the shock that they would be siblings, with Seon Hwa being the lost daughter of Jae Min's mother. Their chemistry on screen was great, but they didn't give us any chance to see them as a couple, that only happens at the end and honestly, after watching 150 episodes, I needed more than just that.

Sharon Park is magnificent, I had a lot of fun with this version of Seon Hwa, in fact I liked her much more than the original. HAHAHA'

Jae Gyeong is the bitch of the story, without a shadow of a doubt. She and Seon Hwa had created a kind of friendship at the beginning, until the moment when Jae Gyeong discovers Seon Hwa's relationship with Sang Hyuk, from that moment on everything changes completely. Jae Gyeong did literally everything to steal Sang Hyuk. She killed Seon Hwa's grandmother, stole her son, prevented her from finding her biological mother and tried to kill her. Oh Seung Ah is great for this type of role, it suited her perfectly.

The drama is average, the story drags on at times, but with the amount of episodes it was to be expected. The romance is weak, because technically there is no romance per se, but it is worth watching because of the relationship between Seon Hwa and Jae Min. The ending of the drama was not very good in my opinion, ending with a wedding was predictable, but seeing Sang Hyuk's mother, his sister and Jae Gyeong's mother together with the rest of the characters, in harmony? It was very strange.

"The Rebel Princess" follows A'Wu, she's a princess that is considered one of the most beautiful woman in the country, basically every man wants her, but A'Wu has Zi Dan in her heart and wants to marry him. Her father frames Zi Dan and his mother for killing the emperor, so to save Zi Tan, A'Wu agrees to marry Xiao Qi. The two start in an arranged marriage, but with time, A'Wu and Xiao Qi fall in love with each other in a passionate way.

A great drama, the story grips from beginning to end. A'wu is an amazing woman, I completely understand why basically every man in the drama was obsessed with her!

I honestly don't know how A'wu handled everything that happened to her, because she was betrayed in every way possible. Her grandfather tried to kill her and her husband, afraid that Xiao Qi's power in the army would influence him in the palace, as if he wanted to take the throne. A'wu's mother killed herself and in that same day A'wu lost the baby she was carrying. A'wu's father and brother made a secret plan to frame Xiao Qi, they used Huaien, Zi Dan, everything to take the throne, they even killed Aunt Xu, a woman who only helped their family. I still don't quite understand how in the end A'wu's brother didn't suffer any consequences for what he did.

Stories with arranged marriages are always great and even though it has 68 episodes, it never got tiring. The romance between A'wu and Xiao Qi developed too quickly, I think I would have liked more to see them get to know each other little by little, but their relationship is very natural, the two combine very well.

I could tell that General Song fell in love with A'wu a long time ago, I just didn't imagine that it had been since the night of the wedding. I even felt sorry for him, because the one who was always by her side when Xiao Qi was going to save the country was Huaien, but he should have kept his love hidden, when he decided to betray Xiao Qi who had only helped him all his life, his actions were no longer justified.

"Namib" is a story about two broken people who help each other heal.

Soo Hyun seems like a very cold and distant person, but in reality she is a woman who carries a lot of guilt, she blames herself for her son's accident and his hearing loss. Soo Hyun doesn't want to appear weak, so she hides all her problems and worries, trying to fix her son's future, with the obsession of buying a factory for him. One day she meets Yoo Jin Woo, a very talented young man, but in order for that to become something, he needs work and attention, so she makes a deal with Jin Woo, she will sign with him, with the promise that Jin Woo will become popular and pay her back.

The drama is very intense, the story deals with difficult issues like self-harm, depression and guilt, as well as the whole issue of being an idol, how this life is not easy at all. It is a beautiful story, because it takes all of this and turns it into hope. Jin Woo is an incredible singer, but his life was very difficult and hurting himself, it was his way of surviving, of coping... Soo Hyun then becomes his shelter, his home and the person who changed his life.

It's the kind of story that people need to watch, it's inspiring, it reminded me of the drama "Uncle". If I had to find a flaw, it would be that there are only a few musical moments, there should be more.

There was also an extra bit of happiness, every moment between Joon Suk and Bong Gyu, their bromance is so cute. At first they only fought because of Soo Hyun, but after spending so much time together, they became friends <3

A crazy and fun story

"Chicken Nugget" is a crazy drama, literally.
The story is about two men who work in a place that makes machines and one day, a strange machine shows up, they don't know what it is and it works by itself, turning Min Ah into a chicken nugget, because that was along with her in the machine. The rest is the men's journey to reverse what happened, trying to turn Min Ah in human form again.

This drama is totally different from everything I have ever seen, it's so fun. It's light, easy to watch and when you least realize, it's already over and I liked the dramatic way the drama ended.
Baek Joon had to choose between save Min Ah's life or stay with his current life as a famous singer, which is what he always wanted, but of course he was going to choose her.

The aliens are freaking funny, no comments to the scene that they are showing theirs "powers", the whole BTS and Big Bang thing was hilarious. I really thought the restaurant people were chickens that turned into humans. HAHAHA'

"Jealousy Incarnate" is a romance drama about the crazy love between Na Ri, Hwa Shin and Jung Won.

Na Ri and Hwa Shin work together in a broadcasting company. Na Ri always had a one sided love for Hwa Shin, only to be found out and humiliated by him every time he sees her. One day, Na Ri finds something strange in Hwa Shin's chest and thinks he may have breast cancer... this changes Hwa Shin's life forever.

The theme is something completely different, because I didn't even know it was possible for men to get breast cancer, but the drama portrayed it very well, showing all the challenges and obstacles Hwa Shin had to overcome, like shame and fear, until he reached the point of speaking openly about it to everyone, confidently accepting his condition.

Furthermore, the romance is an essential part of the drama and also the most interesting element, since Na Ri is literally in love with two people at the same time. And I'm not just saying that, she really is. She loves both Jung Won and Hwa Shin, and the biggest dilemma is choosing between them. How incredible was it that Na Ri decided to live with both of them, to find out who she likes more. HAHA'

Regarding her choice, for me, it was obvious from the start; it was always Hwa Shin. She did fall in love with Jung Won; how could anyone not fall in love with a polite, gentlemanly man who would do anything for her? But she and Hwa Shin have a history. The whole breast cancer situation brought them even closer. It was something they went through together, because without Na Ri, I don't think Hwa Shin would have been able to move on. Their romance is passionate and intense; they can't stay away from each other. The chemistry between Gong Hyo Jin and Jo Jung Suk was one of the best I've ever seen in a drama.

"I want to hold her hands, hug her, kiss her, and sleep with her." <3

The drama also has a strong focus on humor, especially between Jung Won and Hwa Shin fighting over Na Ri. The scene with the two fighting in the mud and Na Ri, in the background catching octopuses, and also when they drunk-call her, begging her to choose them, is a highlight! HAHA'

I think 2016 was the peak of kdramas. There were so many incredible productions in the same year, and now they simply can't replicate that, not in the same way: "Another Oh Hae Young," "Cheese in the Trap," "Cinderella and Four Knights," "Goblin," "Moon Lovers," "One More Happy Ending," "Uncontrollably Fond," "Descendants of the Sun," "Mirror of the Witch" and "Jealousy Incarnate".

A drama that was mostly good, but the ending is terrible

"The Brave Yong Soo Jung" it's a drama about Soo Jung, who lost her parents and her home at the same time. Fortunately she meets Jang Won, who became her adopted father and helped her grow up to be a bright woman. Her life is also entangled with Eui Ju and his mother.
Time passes and Soo Jung becomes a sales announcer. There she meets Woo Jin, a cold man who doesn't let anyone come in to close. The two eventually fall in love. In between them, there's Eui Ju, who's reunited with Yoo Jung as an adult and finds out that Woo Jin is his brother. Both of the brothers like Soo Jung, but she likes Woo Jin and also wants to use him as a way to make Hye Ra suffer, since Hye Ra and her mother were the people that stole Soo Jung's money and made her mother died.

Soo Jung's adopted father unfortunately dies by the hands of Woo Jin, Hye Ra and Kyung Hwa, she swears to take her revenge and comes back a different woman. Now, Woo Jin is married to Hye Ra and Soo Jung does everything to break them apart. Eventually Soo Jung and Eui Ju become a couple and they join hands to make the evil people pay for their crimes.

After this, the drama loses it's direction. Eui Ju learns that he has cancer and the couple's happiness is totally gone at this moment. Actually they didn't even had a moment to be a real couple, now that Eui Ju and Soo Jung are married, he's going to die? It's not fair. We only see Eui Ju suffering from the side affects of the tumor and trying to hide the truth from Soo Jung, who eventually finds out.
Yes, in the end Eui Ju is alive, but I think it's because the writers didn't have the courage to kill off his character and actually it would be better if they did that. This whole thing with him being missing and the amnesia, it was just lazy writing. It would made more sense if Eui Ju became health again or if he died.

Woo Jin was the best character, his transformation is one of the best things that happened in the drama. For him to realize that he was used and lied to his entire life, all because of his so called "mother". Woo Jin decided to become a new person, made Kyung Hwa pay and even used Hye Ra in the process.
Until the end I was hoping that Soo Jung's birth father would show up alive, because we actually didn't see him dying in the beginning, even Soo Jung's mother only said he was missing. I think the drama lost a really interesting plot twist with this.

The story is good and so are the characters, the development was going great, but the drama became confused basically at the middle and went downhill from there.

"Bargain" is a drama unlike anything I've ever watched, because we have no hero or heroine, it's a survival story with people who don't trust anyone and will do everything to survive. Basically it is a more realistic version of what it would be like if an apocalypse really happened, without any embellishment, the human being in its crude version possible: each for itself.

Hyung Soo is the perfect example of this, someone who can survive any situation. He hired a call girl, literally a virgin girl, but was eventually sold in an organ auction, which was interrupted by an earthquake and to complete, we find that he is a police officer. More disgusting and corrupt than that ... Impossible, even though he tries to deceive Joo Young saying that he is in a secret police investigation, but of course this is a lie. He took any opportunity possible and he allied with anyone who was going to help him escape.

Joo Young is a very interesting character, but I liked Keuk Ryul the most. I was impressed with his ability to survive. It happened everything with this boy and he was alive in the end. HAHA'

The open ending is a pity, because I don't think there will be a sequel to the history, it only ends up showing that the earthquake was not isolated for the building, but a large disaster.

"A Good Supper" is a family drama about Gyung Soo, a young man who finds a lost girl and ends up raising her as his own, naming her Young Shin. The two develop a strong bond. Gyung Soo runs a restaurant and after Young Shin grows up, she helps him by working there, making the restaurant a home for many people.

At the beginning of the drama, Young Shin was very much in love with Jung Hoon, she even thought about running away with him, but she didn't do it because of Da Jung. When Jung Hoon came back, their relationship almost became real, but it stopped again because of Da Jung. But then, out of nowhere, Young Shin's feelings change and she starts rejecting Jung Hoon, even when there are no obstacles to them... and then she says that she loves Gyung Soo and that it has always been like this. I understand her feelings, since Gyung Soo raised her and was the person she depended on her entire life, but since their love couldn't happen, she stays in that misery all the time, saying that she will stay by his side, just looking at him, but Gyung Soo ends up with a terminal illness and then Young Shin only decides to marry Jung Hoon because Gyung Soo forces her to, because she was going to kill herself after Gyung Soo died!

Da Jung is a much more interesting character than Young Shin. I had so much fun with Da Jung's freakouts, from a calm girl, she gained an attitude (not a very good one) and caused such funny scandals and because of that, Da Jung realized who was the person who truly loved her and would be by her side even if the whole world hated her: Oh Bok.
This couple is so cute, I was rooting for them from the beginning, but Da Jung insisted on wanting Jung Hoon and I didn't understand why.

Gyung Soo is really the poor guy in this drama, he basically just suffered during these 120 episodes. He was the person who most deserved to have his happy ending, even though we knew that it was more than impossible, since the way they wrote the story didn't let his love work out.
How could we accept him being with Young Shin, since he raised her since she was a child?! It's so weird, even though I wanted to root for them, the situation was too awkward. They could have developed it differently, having Young Shin be raised by the other people in the village and having her come to the restaurant for dinner every night. Even with the age difference between them, it would have been possible to put a relationship in a very natural way, with the years passing by.

I left the worst character for last, the most absurd and the one that makes no sense at all: Choi Sook Jung. This woman committed several crimes during the drama, including murder and some attempts at it. She lied, deceived her husband her entire life, abandoned her son and after the poor guy had amnesia, tried to deceive him that she was a good mother... despite all this, how the hell did she not end up in jail?! How is this possible?

I can't even describe in words what it was like to watch this drama. Honestly, it seems like the scriptwriter of this story must be bipolar, because the pace and focus change so suddenly and abruptly that it becomes difficult to follow and understand what will happen next. In my opinion, the first episodes were the best, the characters shouldn't have grown up and remained children forever, since the best part of the drama is in those moments. It got to a point where the story is too sad to bear, only bad things happen, it makes you depressed.
