I have one rule: I only evaluate a drama after watching it in full. Of course, I'm not a professional critic, but I usually follow an evaluation process based on six criteria. They are:
✱ Chemistry between the main couple - 😍 ✱ Development of supporting characters - 👥 ✱ Plot - 📝 ✱ Original Soundtrack (OST) - 🎵 ✱ Cinematography - 🎥 ✱ Emotional impact and connection - ❤️ |
10 | Perfection, a masterpiece. This is a drama that scored the highest in all the criteria above and moved me deeply. I would definitely watch it again. That’s not to say it’s without technical flaws, but the overall execution of every aspect of the drama is simply captivating to me. | 9,5-9 | Excellent. It presents a well-developed sequence of events consistent with the initial premise. Despite possible flaws, it generally maintains a balanced pace, with engaging characters, which made the experience truly engaging for me. | 8,5-8 | Very good. A drama that delivered a solid and enjoyable execution. Some aspects could have been better developed or explored, but overall, it was a journey that I quite enjoyed and that was worth watching. | 7,5-7 | Good. It presents decent content, with a clear and coherent story, but without reaching levels of intensity that would make it memorable. Overall, it's good and enjoyable. | 6,5-6 | OK. I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t really like it either. It lacked something that truly captured my attention, making the overall experience more lukewarm than exciting. | <5,5 | Disappointing. Sometimes I wonder why I watched it until the end. These are the dramas that had great potential and interesting concepts but, at some point along the way, failed to deliver a well-developed plot. | DROPPED | Honestly, I haven’t abandoned many dramas so far, as I usually watch them until the end. However, sometimes it happens, and there’s no real explanation for it (haha). I don’t review dramas I’ve dropped because I don’t think it’s fair to critique something I haven’t finished. |
