Hello! I'm Ivy—a programmer by day, artist by night. I spend my time writing code, playing piano, and creating anime art for my YouTube channel. When I need a break, I unwind with Asian dramas—particularly those that focus on meaningful growth and character development. |

I watch dramas because I'm fascinated by growth—how people change, what shapes them, and who they become when they're tested. The stories that stay with me are the ones that explore purpose, conviction, and the influence people have on one another. And yes, I'm a huge MBTI nerd. I’m especially obsessed with how different personalities clash, connect, and grow under pressure. I often find myself analyzing characters’ types almost as closely as I follow the plot. .

I'm very character-driven when it comes to dramas. I have a particular appreciation for leaders who serve a greater purpose in life. Characters who can unite a group, inspire others, and communicate well. Just as much, I'm drawn to characters who genuinely want to grow: those who recognize they're lost, seek guidance, and are willing to be led back on track. I admire people who are open to challenging their own beliefs and changing their values when growth demands it. 🌿. The more strong, purpose-driven characters influencing each other's growth, the more I enjoy the story.Whether it's romance, bromance, sismance, friendship, rivalry, or found family, I'm invested. 🌿. As a result, I'm usually drawn to more serious, high-stakes stores-settings where lives, ideals, or entire communities are on the line. There are the kinds of dramas that leave room for meaningful growth and personal development. |

Of course, finding everything I like in a drama doesn't automatically mean I'll watch it. I rarely enjoy horror, as it's simply not a genre that appeals to me. Additionally, I avoid dramas feature LGBTQ+, nudity, sexual content, or fanservice.

This scale is entirely based on my personal taste, not on objective quality. A drama can be incredibly well-made and still receive a lower score if it doesn't give me the character dynamics and growth that I love most.

9 | My perfect drama. It feels like I personally hired the writers, directors, and actors and told them exactly what I wanted. | 8
7 | Has bits of everything I love: thrill, character growth, a touch of romance, and friendship. Only one noticeable flaw keeps it from being a 10. | Same as a 9/10, but it's longer than it needs to be. Too many episodes, unnecessary detours, or pacing issues. | 6 and below
The story lacks that extra sense of excitement, tension, or thrill that keeps me glued to the screen. | Missing one or more of the core things I watch dramas for. The character growth feels weak, or the stakes aren't compelling.
