I barely watch xianxias, new / modern style wuxias and romance. I tend to go always for meaninful watches as I don´t vibe with escapism in my experience, but there´s always exceptions as everything in life.
I also tend to prefer dramas that dare to have a fresh or innovative take wether on topics, storytelling or on more formal aspects. Bold, risk-taker and creative projects appeals to me over those that are more lineal, conservative and "easy" to watch in terms of messages and structures.
I´m comfortable with more artistic takes that tend to be in the "indi" or nicht side of the spectrum over the secure and perfect dramas / films that are interesting for my mind but not so emotional aligned to my sensitivy and quests.

The ratings given to my watches are considering similar parametres among genres, but also having in mind the differences between them, withing a specific one, and how they impact my sensibility too. I never approach different genres with a uniform mindset for all. I only rate dramas I like, hence you won´t find low scores because I drop the rest.
Also, you’ll find my curated recommendations in the Custom Lists — and yes, I mean my personal takes on specific topics. For some of them, I go further and write reviews with analysis or research, depending on the subject.
