My "top" list (my all time favourites)

This environmental suspenful drama based on true events is an outstanding high-quality production., touching, and meaninful.  First arc, a masterpiece and entered this list because of it..

An unforgetable watching experience that captured my soul and talked to my heart besides my mind, as I´ve worked at the protected aereas on my home country and know first hand the conflicts between environmental protection and development. 

Stunning cinematography and soundtrack 

I have no words to describe the masterpiece that this drama is, depicting an era of change that goes beyond imagination and precedent in history, through the lens of its three main protagonists, their families, and friends.

It deserves all the awards and recognition it has received. Don’t miss it—47 episodes that pass like fleeting time. You won’t want it to end… and luckily, it has seasons 2 and 3.

Inspiring, lighthearted, with humour but also touching. Based on the real events of Longgang city, Zhezhian, built with the funds and efforts of its own residents in the 80s and early 90s.

Flawless and perfect from start to finish. 

Tight thriller, with fierce social commentary and outstanding acting from the main lead, and very solid for the main cast too. 

Very sad, very beautiful, very moving. Not for the faint of heart.

Epic historical drama during Kangxi era (Qing dynasty) . Powerful story and acting, it won't leave you untouched.

An epic ten thousand  years fight between evil and good, told with focus on the character development of Tan Tai Jin and the tragic love story with his nemesis.  Phylosophycal quest about fundamental human existence and more large concepts (fate, freedom of choice, individual vs collective good).  

The show  brought innovation to the genre, xianxia, in 2023. It was a trend setter in storytelling, main themes, aesthetics and CGI.  Iconic main character, superbly portrayed by the lead actor.
