"Princess Aurora" tells the story of Oh Ro Ra. Just like her name, she is different, interesting and doesn't like to follow anyone's rules, other than her own. Basically, she is a spoiled princess. She falls in love with Ma Ma and does everything to win his heart.First of all, we have Ma Ma's sisters, who are so weird that it's hard to explain. The way they treat Ma Ma, especially the older sister, sometimes seems like a mother's love and at other times it seems like she loves him like a woman. There was even a moment when she got so angry because Ro Ra slapped Ma Ma in the face that she not only fainted but also became mute. Very bizarre. From the beginning, it was obvious that Ro Ra wouldn't be happy staying with Ma Ma because of his sisters and that's exactly what happens.
After much insistence, Ma Ma manages to get Ro Ra to marry him, but this happiness doesn't last long, because the friction between Ro Ra and his sisters only gets worse. Ro Ra even tries to become friends with the sisters, but there was no room for her to do so. It got to a point where Ro Ra would only cry in her own house and drink to forget... that's no way to live, so she was absolutely right to get a divorce, she should have done it sooner.
If you think the drama is about romance, you're wrong. It's actually Ro Ra's journey, all the suffering she went through to become a better person. She lost all her money, her father, her mother, her dog, her first husband, to finally find true happiness in the person who was always by her side: Seol Hee.
I understand that she needed to go through these difficulties to mature, but I would have chosen Seol Hee from the beginning, it was clear that he was the right person for Ro Ra. This was one of the only dramas I watched where the second lead ends up with the girl.
Oh, I can't forget the whole situation with Natasha. What the hell was that in a 2013 drama? I was impressed by the fact that they dealt with the transgender issue, but I was upset that the solution they found for Natasha was to "transform" her into a real man, as a kind of cure.
And in those final episodes, when Ro Ra, Ma Ma and Seol Hee are living together? To make matters worse, they were going to move to the US so they could continue their relationship like that, since they imagined that it wouldn't be possible in Korea. To be honest, even I found it bizarre. HAHAHAHA'
Despite having several mistakes, the drama is good. It is a big commitment to watch since there are 150 episodes and at several moments the story lost its direction, but it ended well.

"Gu Family Book" is a fantasy drama about Choi Kang Chi, a young man who is half human and half gumiho. He was abandoned by a river and discovered by a rich man who took care of him, as if he were his own son. Yeo Wool is different from any woman her age, she dresses like a man and love martial arts. These two lives are connected by fate.Kang Chi has a crush on Chung Jo, the daughter of the man that saved him, but he keeps his feelings to himself. One day, a tragedy happens in the family, they are framed are traitors and Kang Chi while trying to save them, revealed his true self. His heart is broken by the disgust of people, so Kang Chi goes into hidden. He only finds a safe place in Yeo Wool's house, she's the only person that helps him and doesn't care about what or who he is.
Kang Chi and Yeo Wool's romance is one of the best I have ever seen. They are cute, funny and romantic, but from the beginning we knew something bad was going to happen between them. Yeo Wool's death scene is heartbreaking but so beautiful at the same time.
Another couple that is truly amazing is Seo Hwa and Wol Ryung, that's why it's a pity that they have so little time together. I understand that their romance and sorrow it's what formed the story, but it's so good that I wanted to see more. At least they have a sort of happy ending, with Wol Ryung finally understanding that Seo Hwa didn't betray him after all.
Susy and Lee Seung Gi are really perfect together <3

"You've Fallen For Me" is a musical drama about Kyu Won, a student who plays the gayageum and Lee Shin, who is majoring in modern music and has a band called "The Stupid". The two go to the same school, but their paths never cross. They meet unexpectedly, but their first impressions aren't very good.Lee Shin has a one-sided love for Yun Su, a teacher at school who was in a relationship with Seok Hyeon. Kyu Won falls in love with Lee Shin and tries to make him forget Yun Su, but it takes him a while to accept her feelings. They become closer when they both enter the school musical, and as they spend time together, Lee Shin begins to see Kyu Won in a new light.
This drama is for every person who wanted Mi Nam to end up with Shin Woo... to bad that the couple ends up being a bit disappointing, they had much more chemistry in "You're Beautiful". I don't know how to explain it, but they are strange together, like two pieces that don't fit together, the romance is really the weak point of the drama.
The strong point of this drama is the music, the songs are amazing and addictive. Being able to see Jung Yong Hwa and Kang Min Hyuk acting together in a drama is a dream coming true <3

In "Me Too, Flower!", Bong Sun is a police officer who follows her own rules and Jae Hee is a playboy who enters her peaceful life and changes everything. They fight like children at first and then, they can't stay away from each other.Lee Ji Ah and Yoon Shi Yoon have amazing chemistry on screen, the romance is sweet but passionate at the same time and for 2011, that's impressive.
There's a scene where they kiss with handcuffs on, she was literally holding him down and they just kissed. It's really something else.
The ending is a bit rushed, but the rest is great. It's a great choice for a romantic comedy. It's definitely worth watching.

"Love Phantom" is a drama about the romance between Momoko and Hase, two hotel employees who unexpectedly meet and start seeing each other. This drama is so strange, in every way. The characters meet and then out of nowhere, Hase kisses Momoko and after that, it's like they've known each other for a long time, almost like they've been in a relationship for years. The age difference between the two is also quite big, Momoko is 22 and Hase is 38, but that didn't really bother me. Their relationship is reminded me of "Fifty Shades of Grey", something in the masochistic style.
There's one scene that really made me cringe, when Hase bites Momoko's wrist, as a way of leaving his "mark" and then Momoko kisses that hand, saying that she likes him. Seriously, what the hell? HAHA'
Another one is when Momoko decides to move in with Hase and he says, "I'm not going to hold back anymore." They barely know each other, this sentence made me think that the writer is a teenager who is turning her dreams into some kind of reality... this is very far from being real.
There is even a moment with Momoko tired at work because of too much sex. It's so ridiculous. kkkkkkk'
Then, to make it even weirder and worse, the next obvious step is to bring in another man who also likes Momoko, for no apparent reason. What charm does this woman have? I didn't see anything.
This was a drama that I finished because I started, I would not recommend to anyone.

"Ja Myung Go" is centered around the three main characters, who are also the love triangle: Puku, Ho Dong, and La Hee.The two girls are half-sisters who grew up apart and didn't know each other, and Ho Dong is the love of both of them. It's exactly because of him that everything in the story falls apart, he's the reason for the ruin of an entire country.
Ho Dong used La Hee's feelings for him and made her make a horrible mistake. I couldn't believe how naive she was to believe his words and do all that, but it made sense in the development, what I didn't like was how the character Puku became.
Puku learned martial arts from a young age and they made her a shaman and the whole thing about the magic drum, it was just stupid.
The whole thing with Wang Hol and his sister-in-law is just creepy. She basically raised him as her son, but when he grew up, she fell in love with him? It's disgusting, like a mother falling in love with her own son just because her husband died.
I've always wanted to watch this drama, it has an amazing cast: Jung Ryeo Won, Jung Kyung Ho and Park Min Young working together, but it was disappointing, the development of the story was very weak, they ruined what could have been an amazing drama.

A terrible waste of time
"The Two Sisters" is a drama about two sisters named Do Eun and Hye Won, that have been separated when they were still young. They have lived totally different lives but they reunite with Do Eun comes back to Hye Won's life as her mother-in-law. This was a twist of fate, but after that, Do Eun makes everything to take her revenge on Hye Won, who she thinks ruined her life. The drama started well, but the story lost the direction. I know the purpose of a makjang is to very exaggerated, but at some point, it seen like it didn't matter what happened in the story, they only wanted to make noise.
Do Eun was initially Hye Won's mother-in-law and technically she was involved in the death of Ji Chang's mother... because of that, she also killed Ji Chang. There's also Hye Won's mother-in-law's twin sister that appeared out of nowhere, that was really weird. No comments to Do Eun's crazy obsession with Hye Won, she even stole her son for 40 days and brainwashed the kid to think she was his mother... The funny thing is this whole thing was only subject of 3 episodes, a total waste of time.
Jun Mo is such a random character, still now I don't understand why he was put in the story, because it was clear to me that Sung Yoon was the right person to Hye Won. It didn't make sense to me to make some ex-boyfriend show up all of the suddenly, when Sung Yoon was there all along.
This another drama I finished watching because I started, it was really hard to put up with 104 episodes of this. HAHAHA'

One of the most violent and shocking dramas I have ever seen
"Hellbound" is set in a world when all of the suddenly, people start to have death visions, it doesn't say for sure what it is, but it gives you the time of your death and it's always right. When the time comes, creatures come and drag you to hell, in the most horrible way possible.Jin Soo is a cult leader and his followers say that the people who got the "message" are all sinners that need to be punished and others believe in that, showing the bad side of humans, who will do anything.
The way people freak out reminded me of the movie "Purge", almost like they think their actions is justified, that they are punishing the sinners, using god's name with an excuse, a very twisted insight. The scene where the teenagers violently kill Hye Jin's mother, an elderly woman, it made me sick to my stomach but at the same time, the drama shows the other side of humanity, with the baby's parents sacrificing themselves and the people helping them, it shows there's still a possibility of salvation. I think this is the drama's message, that you could find light even in darkness.
It's an extremely violent and shocking drama, the deaths are bloody and impressive, it's a story made to shock. My biggest problem was to accept the plot, understand that made sense that any person can be taken to hell, even that it didn't commit anything wrong, that everything in life is uncertain and that we don't have any control... that's really scary, but I believe this was the purpose, to make the viewers question everything.

An amazing surprise
"My Military Valentine" it's a romantic comedy about a singer named Lloyd and a North Korean soldier named Yeong Ok. Their lives become entangled with each other and they fell in love in the process. The story is interesting and fun, the episodes are short, with only 30 minutes, so it's easy to watch and when you realized, it's already over. I really like when writers mix characters from North and South Korea, specially when involves the military, it reminds me of "The King 2Hearts".
The romance between Lloyd and Yeong Ok is cute, I didn't imagine I would like the two together so much, but they make a lovely couple. The scene where Lloyd is missing Yeong Ok, even crying thinking he won't see her again, it's so cute.
Nam Gyu Ri is really an amazing actress <3

A total and complete mess
"The Empire" it's a rich's family story. Hye Ryul has the perfect life, she's a competent woman but like always happens in this kind of dramas, her husband is cheating on her, but here lies the problem, she already knows and doesn't care about it, because she wants to keep her perfect fake family. The cheater is a woman named Nan Hee and what happens to her is the real conflict in the drama. Nan Hee dies and in the following episodes, you need to discover who's the killer!
I was really disappointed with this drama, the story is totally lost, it lacks direction and honestly, better characters. I love Kim Sun Ah, she's an amazing actress and basically every drama of hers is great, but Hye Ryul is a weak woman.
The only thing remotely interesting is Kang Baek, he's a complex character, it's a shame how he turns out to, committing suicide because couldn't stand the pressure of just being himself, not being accepted by his family, specially his grandfather and also thinking that his mother killed Nan Hee... all of that was too much for him to handle.
This drama tries to go the same path of other like "The Penthouse" and "The World of The Married", but it's just not remotely enough.

A story with potential, that was wasted.
"Red Swan" is definitely one of my biggest disappointments, I was hopping for an amazing production with Rain and Kang Ha Neul, but it simply didn't work out, even when it had everything to be great. The premise is good, there are a lot of dramas with the same style like "The K2", that follows the relationship of a woman and her bodyguard and how they fell in love, but the story lacks depth, the characters and the romance is really weak, the dialogues are horrible. I even laughed on episode 7 when Do Yoon asks Wan Soo to trust him... the way he say that, it was so bad, I couldn't keep a straight face. HAHAHAHA'
Their relationship is weird, there wasn't a moment when you see them falling in love, at a moment, with no explanation, Do Yoon and Wan Soo were madly in love and they not really know each other. That didn't make sense to me.
This was a drama that only made noise, but in reality it didn't have anything to show.

Basically a copy of "I Hear Your Voice", that just didn't work.
"Why Her" follows Soo Jae, a ruthless and competent lawyer who doesn't care about anything except winning and destroys everyone that gets in her way. She did all that to survive in a men's world that don't accept her, that didn't think she was good enough and even so, Soo Jae is betrayed by her mentor and got demoted to being a teacher in a college. There, she meets Gong Chan, a young man who tries to help in any way possible, what she doesn't know it's that they are connected by the past, when Soo Jae was Gong Chan's lawyer when he was framed for killing his sister. He hides that fact, to keep staying by her side.
The drama's premise reminded me of "I Hear Your Voice", specially because of the relation of the main characters and how they're connected with a death. Actually there's a scene that to me it's almost the same: when Gong Chan say that he's waiting to find someone and that person is Soo Jae.
The problem is that Hwang In Youp just didn't work as a main lead. Maybe it was because of his inexperience, but he couldn't get in the same level as Seo Hyun Jin and this weakened the story and also there was no chemistry at all between them.
One good thing about the drama is Seo Hyun Jin's character Soo Jae, she's a badass woman and if the writers had chosen a better actor to be her pair, the drama would definitely be different.

Good action scenes, but the story is very rushed
"Tyrant" it's about people fighting because of a virus, everyone wants it and kills to get it. There's also Ja Gyeong, a gangster's daughter who got caught in between that.I really don't like this format for dramas, 8 episodes were already too little, but now we have only 4? It's getting worse.
You can see the similarities with the movie "The Witch", but how there were only 4 episodes, the drama ends so fast, it barely gives you any time to process what happened.
The fight sequence on the last episode was really impressive, I couldn't take my eyes of the screen.
The cast is spectacular, to be able to see Cha Seung Won, Kim Kang Woo and Kim Seon Ho acting together, that was incredible <3

One of the worst things I have ever seen
"Snow White's Revenge" it's a revenge story about Seol Ah, a woman who lost her father at a young age, when he married a woman named Jeong In, a gold digger who married him to take his money. When he learns the truth, Jeong In along with her boyfriend Tae Chang kill Seol Ah's father and the girl witness everything.Seol Ah goes to live in an orphanage and there she meets Jin Ho, starting a relationship that will last over 10 years, until he gets in an accident and loses his memory. She is reunited with Jin Ho, when she becomes a writer for a drama named "Poker Face" and he's the main lead, the problem is Jin Ho doesn't remember her, so Seol Ah tries to make him remember her.
By spending time with Jin Ho, who's now being called Woo Jin, Seol Ah learns that he's not a very good person. Even when his memory returns, Woo Jin doesn't want to go back to the time he was Jin Ho, he doesn't want to lose his fame, become a nobody again... There's even a moment in episode 31 when Woo Jin uses Seol Ah's feelings, being all sweet with her, only because he wanted her to delete a post she made on the internet, telling people about their past, how they lived together and even were expecting a child. When she doesn't want to do that, Woo Jin becomes violent and even slaps her. After that, he even made a statement to the media making himself the victim.
This is exactly why I don't understand the drama's ending. How does it make sense that Seol Ah and Woo Jin ended up together? This is ridiculous. He was a horrible person that abandoned her, hurt her in many ways, only because he was shot, everything is alright? How can a woman do this to herself, after everything he did to her? Doesn't she have any dignity? Seeing them happily in that orphanage, it was just weird. What about Hyun Woo? Seol Ah accepted his feelings and left him for Woo Jin? I don't think this drama leaves a very good message to viewers, specially about a healthy relationship.
Ju Ryun is a ridiculous character. She's not the villain, she keeps crying all the time and fighting with Seol Ah because of Woo Jin. It's sad to see such a beautiful woman low herself to that level because of a man and I even couldn't even hate her, because to me she was only pitiful.
What the hell was the whole thing with Jeong In being Woo Jin's mother? The weird thing is the way she starts to treat him when she learns the truth. It was really creep, specially because she doesn't say that she's his mother. I have to say that in some moments I thought Jeong In was really in love with him and not like a mother.
And what was Seol Ah's revenge? What exactly did she do to avenge her father's death? She only complained, but still kept was working for Jeong In's company, doing nothing legally to show the truth out, so it was basically nothing for 102 episodes. How are we supposed to like this? The only person who actually did a revenge in this story was Sun Ae, she was an amazing woman who avenged the death of her two sons and helped Seol Ah in the process. Without Sun Ae, Seol Ah wouldn't have done anything.
The drama is really bad, there's nothing good about it. The acting is weak, the characters are terribly written, the story is confusing and there's no clear direction in the story's development. It's not something I would recommend to someone to watch, it's not worth it.

A truly beautiful story
"Snowfall" tells the story of a blind girl named Mi Lan, who is abused by her mother and lives her life basically trapped all the time. She then saves Zhi Heng, making him indebted to her.The relationship of Mi Lan and Zhi Heng is very intriguing, because we can't quite classify what they are to each other. It's beyond a romance, Zhi Heng gave Mi Lan a second chance to live, he saved from an abusive mother and from the darkness, gave her a purpose, a family... and that's so much more than the love between man and woman.
That was one of the reasons the drama really stuck with me, the development was really beautiful.
The drama is way better than I expected. The chemistry between Gao Wei Guang and Ouyang Nana is amazing.
There was several fun moments and I liked how the vampire creature was portrayed, it reminded of the movie "Interview With A Vampire", specially about the beauty, the seduction, the mystery around the vampire. I just didn't like the ending, I was hoping for a happy ending, they deserved that, but overall, I was a great drama.
