"Woman In A Veil" is a revenge drama. Gyeo Wool is a sweet and kind woman, she believes her husband is cheating on her, which he really is, with her friend Ae Ra. One day, while following him she gets in an accident, that leaves her blind. Also she discover that she's pregnant, so she has to choose to do the operation to get her eyesight back or the baby. Gyeo Wool always wanted to be a mother, so she chooses to live as a blind person. Time passes and Ae Ra makes an evil plan, she steals Gyeo Wool's baby, making her family turn against her and kick her out of the house.

On the other side of the story, we have Se Rin. She's a spoiled rich girl who has everything she wants, except one thing and that's Tae Yang. In a twist of fate, Se Rin's sister is killed by Ae Ra, but she frames the death on Gyeo Wool's father. Se Rin wants revenge and while Gyeo Wool is in the hospital, Se Rin tries to kill her, but what does happen is that the two women switch souls. Gyeo Wool is now on Se Rin's body, so she uses this to get her revenge on Yu Jin and Ae Ra for everything they did.

I understood the purpose of the drama's title, because it's about a woman living under the identity of another, really like what happens in "A Man In A Veil", but I think they could have come up with another name, since the stories are completely unrelated. In fact we have three characters who were living under other names: We have Gyeo Wool, who is in Se Rin's body and also Ae Ra who is actually called Hyun Jung and was using a friend's name to hide her identity and lastly Ji Seok, who used another name when he was younger.

This drama really is a respectable makjang, because they included all the possible elements of this style of story and turned on the madness button at maximum! HAHAHA'

In addition to the exchange of souls, we also have the twist that Ae Ra was looking for revenge and that it was all part of her plan to end the Nam family, which is why she approached Yu Jin. We later found out that the person who killed Gyeo Wool's father was Yu Jin's father, because he discovered that Yu Jin's father caused the accident that left Ji Seok with his disability. And Ji Seok is Tae Yang's father.
Last but not least, the biggest twist of all: that Gyeo Wool is Ae Ra's sister! It may seem absurd, but it kind of makes sense, because then I understood why Yu Jin's grandfather liked Gyeo Wool so much and treated her so well, partly because of what he did to her family. But let's be honest, it was too much for one drama.

What I didn't agree with until the end: Se Rin's death. First of all, she was an incredible character, I had so much fun with her freakouts, whether in her original body or when she was in Gyeo Wool's body. In the end, the two should have returned to their respective bodies, since it ended up with Gyeo Wool trapped in Se Rin's body, even though she told everyone who she is, it's not the same thing.
