If you like Heavenly Ever After, you should also check out Tomorrow.
Like Heavenly Ever After, Tomorrow explores deep life themes through emotional and meaningful short stories. Each episode touches on different people’s lives—dealing with pain, regrets, love, and hope. Even though it’s a fantasy drama with grim reapers, it has the same heartwarming and healing vibe. Both dramas remind us how precious life is and how every person has a story worth telling.

Both MLs end up dying saving someone and travel to the underworld which, due to the circumstances of their selfless death, allows the ML to have a special job and a second chance.

Flex X cop is very similar to tomorrow! it can literally be ranked as number 2 closest besides taxi driver. The male lead in this drama reminds me a lot of the funny, immature one in tomorrow that would bother the female lead. Every episode of Flex had a new plot where the detectives would solve murder cases rather than suicide cases!! I definitely recommend watching Flex X cop, it's so good I can't bring myself to finish it!!

-(Bulgasal)-
Deals with immortal beings and the humans their fate are tied to throughout many reincarnations.
Tragic pasts, how to resolve it and trying to protect those you love.

-(Tommorrow)-
A team of grim reapers from previous lives that chose the job.
This special team helps to prevent those wishing to commit suicide by helping them realize they want to live and why.
Also deals with fate and the strings that connect people through their reincarnations

Both are heavy in tone dramas dealing with life and death with the message of cherishing the time you have. There are many side stories as well as the main characters' story. Also at least one of the MLs in both dramas is immortal and has a past connection in someway to the FL.

Both the dramas teach us to have a positive outlook towards life

Tomorrow has the same two actresses, Kim Hee Sun & Kim Hae Sook they both work well together in both series. Room No. 9 is about a soul switching event that changes the lives of both of the actresses. Tomorrow is about grim reapers saving souls. both have their sci-fi elements but Room No. 9 is limited in it's science fiction but it plays out pretty good.

I'm sure if you enjoyed one you'll enjoy the other.

-Not a fantasy drama however it deals with new characters in every episode and you get to see their bad sides. It focuses on juvenile kids and underaged criminals and their wrongdoings.
FL is extremely strict and badass while she follows the law.
These type of dramas are extremely interesting imo.

When I first saw Tomorrow, it just had this odd sense of similarity to IOKTNBO.
First off, the female leads are headstrong. The supporting cast is just a fantastic group! I love each and everyone one of the character and the stories they had. Both had a theme closely related to suicide, mental health, and healing from these scars.

- If you like ragtag bunch of misfits / found family tropes, look no further than Tomorrow and The Guardians!
- Strong female leads with tragic events occurring to them, as well as dealing with grief/looking for a way to repent
- Working through each significant character's problems and pasts
- Similar motives of seeking justice for those who've been wronged and giving closure to the victims.
- They're both teams that were brought together for one singular goal. For The Guardians, their goal is to take down corruption, while the Crisis Management team works to lessen the amount of people in Hell and the Afterlife.
- Both are series that deal well with serious topics, but also know when to take short, lighthearted, comedic breaks
- Both are set in a modern society, but Tomorrow features supernatural elements while the Guardians is more detective/law focused

I really love the relationships between the characters in both dramas and I looove the ragtag team of misfits trope... if you're like me, give these series a try!

Love action dramas where the main characters fight and deal with the dead (with super powers)?

They both include topics relating to mental health and family problems. There are moments where it's relatable (but in a funny way).

The casts in both dramas are amazing! love the production.

Both are grim reaper kinda drama/movie
Both have 2 man 1 female team (while in Tomorrow is female leader)
The difference will be in Tomorrow, the mc grim reaper is saving lives while the grim reaper in Along with Gods are helping souls to go through the judges and pass through reincarnation cycle.

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.
