Lord Fu Rong starts to have nightmares after news of Shen Li's victory against the ghoul is spread to the Immortal Realm. He imagines the suffering Shen Li will inflict upon him. Lord Fu Rong decides to cause trouble in the Spiritual Realm under the instigation of his good friend. He does it so that Shen Li will cancel the marriage out of rage. Meanwhile, Shen Li realizes how powerful the ghouls and the miasma are after returning from Xutian Abyss. For the safety of the Spiritual Realm, she tells Shen Mu Yue that she won't reject the marriage alliance. Shen Li returns to her residence and discovers that Lord Fu Rong has already been causing trouble there for many days.
