The Legend of Shen Li Episode 2

Shen Li returns to the house and begins her life with Xing Yun. Shen Li and Xing Yun go to the market to buy some meat, but they realize they don't have enough money. Coincidentally, they meet a fortune-teller who is making money by telling a student's fortune. Xing Yun reminds the student that there will be a fire at his house at noon. The student rushes home. The fortune-teller is unhappy with Xing Yun's actions and both of them have a wager. Not long after, the student returns and thanks Xing Yun by giving him a piece of meat. His mother would have perished in the fire if Xing Yun had not reminded him. Xing Yun obtains some money from the gamble and also a piece of meat. Shen Li asks Xing Yun why he can tell the future. Xing Yun says he has had this ability since he was born. It's bad to reveal the future and it is also the reason why he is weak. A soldier's wife comes to Xing Yun and begs him to find her long-lost husband. The lady's name is Yun Niang. Her husband, Zhou San Lang is a soldier.
