Shen Li searches for the eye of formation within the formation Xing Zhi has created in Sky's Beyond. She finds some scrolls by accident. Shen Li touches the ray of light by accident and sees images of the past. She sees Xing Zhi in the past. She witnesses the sorrow he experienced after losing his best friend. She sees the process where Liu Ming created Feng Lai, the ghoul king. After Xing Zhi returns, Shen Li emphasizes once again that she's going to return to the Spiritual Realm. Xing Zhi rejects her once again. Xing Zhi starts to doubt his duty as an Ancient God. He questions why Heaven granted him a godly body with a mortal heart and emotions.
