Xiao He unintentionally discovers a secret chamber beneath Gu Cheng Jin's study, where a mysterious woman lies. To prevent Gu Cheng Rui from returning, Xing Yun sets up a malevolent formation in the courtyard. Gu Cheng Rui really sends the Taoist Fu Sheng to bring men to attack at midnight, even setting fire to the courtyard. Shen Li has no choice but to use her power to protect the surrounding neighborhood from the spreading flames. She then takes Xing Yun and flees to Jinyue Residence.
