Episode Title: Uncontrollable Outburst
Xiao He unintentionally discovers a secret chamber beneath Gu Cheng Jin's study, where a mysterious woman lies. To prevent Gu Cheng Rui from returning, Xing Yun sets up a malevolent formation in the courtyard. Gu Cheng Rui really sends the Taoist Fu Sheng to bring men to attack at midnight, even setting fire to the courtyard. Shen Li has no choice but to use her power to protect the surrounding neighborhood from the spreading flames. She then takes Xing Yun and flees to Jinyue Residence. The residence is filled with numerous spirits, invisible to Xing Yun, who is a mortal and still wants to protect Shen Li. Seeing the frail Xing Yun, Shen Li recalls their time together in the courtyard and can't help but confess her feelings to him, but he responds indifferently.

The Legend of Shen Li Episode 5 Reactions
Good episode. The parts with the demon things maybe are too stereotypal. The scene where Shen Li says to Mo Fang (her General) that she has fallen for Xing Yun is just hilarious ! The love confession is also very funny and is staged in a very original way, quite unexpected !
