"The Legend of Shen Li" and "Fangs of Fortune" are both romantic, fantasy and wuxia dramas featuring teasing, playful main couples in a fantasy universe. The male and female leads are independent and capable, and their romance develops slowly amidst cute moments and adventurous challenges.
The protagonists find themselves embroiled in escalating conspiracies involving deadly betrayals and struggles for power.

The FLs are similar in aspect of them being a general, the details of both of these stories are different but if u like one them u might as well watch the other

Both of these got the wuxia genre as one of their genre plus the feamale leads are generals. If u enjoy one of the series u might as well enjoy the other.

Both are xianxia dramas. The ML have a nice chemistry together. In both the ML they can't be together due to their story and role.

Both stories are fantasy tales about ancient deities who lost interest in the mundane stuff until they met "the right ones", who woke their interest in life. Both splurge in special effects and CGI and have top actors and actresses telling the stories. The Legend of Shen Li is better telling the story and keeping the audience engaged, though. Since both are fantasy genre, we watch them with loose imagination and simply enjoy them.
