Stuck On You Episode 8 Reactions
wow one hell of a ride and i binged it almost on pent-up-breath, it was so good - i didn't want to miss a thing. but have to say this end was a bit weird or rather the start where JM more or less said what i thought all along, that he scared and cause of that rather hurt others then get hurt etc.. was obvious from the word go - but it didn't justify his action and his admitting it, didn't redeemed him in any way, shape or form - if anything it got him pardoned cause Reb such a softy that's all love and understanding. and was worried it would again make Reb give something JM couldn't give in return, and we would end up back at a place where Reb is left bloody and bruised - so the turn of events where Reb is the one wondering about "if they actually meant to be" - was ironic in a good way. his coming to the conclusions that his idea of love, verses reality - was a wake up call or a maturing that he went through in 14 days, which was much needed if he wanted to be in a mature long lasting relationship - he came in naïve and optimistic and left, awakened from his day dreaming. which is progress *************************************so liked that this was left open, where both now at a place where they come ready to actually work on this 'ship' start off as friends and see where that leads *****************************************************************************************************side note - i know i'm all high prise and yet only given this 7 starts - like why - idk there just something missing... maybe i need to rewatch this slowly and then maybe i will either give this a higher rating or change my POV about this (find what is "bugging" me). for now this really good and a rewatch for sure. so will be back

Don't be deceived by the title, Episode 8: Rainbows and Butterflies didn't have a fairy tale ending. It was a realistic conclusion to this series with evident character and relationship developments. It wasn't perfect but it was still a wonderful finale for this series. Although the script dragged a bit, it had heartwarming lines and sensitive dialogues. Acting was the strongest asset of this episode. Both Iyo and Yves gave solid performances. Audio-visuals were mostly ok. Soundtrack was perfect. Overall, this was a great series and I hope there's a second season.
