Really similar in feel. In both, a man (who is NOT the girl's biological father) slowly grows fond of the child and becomes a father to her. Both are bittersweet, father-daughter movies.
If you liked one of these, you will like the other.

Bittersweet, family relationship-oriented movies. Both movies have a character with disabilities as well as a loved one slowly teaching them how to live as they are. If you like one of these movies, you will like the other.

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

Tough guy in need of money finds himself taking care of a kid while trying to better his situation. You're So Precious to Me is very much a superior film though. Like, night and day as far as quality goes.

This too is a father-daughter love. Both have excellent actors that can move us to tears. In Miracle in Cell No. 7, it's the father who is specially challenged.

Both is about a deaf blind child and a immature man (at first glance) which trying to get in touch with the little one.
