On May 1945, a doctor Taichi is instructed to help surgeries of captive US soldiers, which are in fact human experiments. He suggests stopping horrifying experiments but they are carried out and cause the deaths of eight captives. In war-crimes trial, he is sentenced to death as the principal perpetrator of the incident.
