Resilience breeds success
i thought it is quite unrealistic for a 20-ish year old badminton player to switch to play tennis and find success with the transition. technically it is difficult due to the different techniques and skills required to play the two sports. but... it is a show so manage some expectations.i find the social story here rather realistic with increasing numbers of older women-younger men couple. i liked that the show addressed the stigma around such relationships. despite being successful, women sometimes are too harsh on themselves. just like in the show, the female lead doesn't think she should date a younger man. i'm glad she eventually came around and decided to follow her heart.
i also enjoyed the male lead's story with his father. family are not always blood related, family go though hardships and happiness together, i liked that the show depicted just that.
i enjoyed every single episode of the show and will rewatch if time permits.
most of all, the OST was great! the closing song stuck for months.

Their development as a team and individuals.
This drama deserves 10/10 from me. It’s so refreshing to watch. I don’t find those cringey scenes that I sometimes get in another drama which is rare I guess. I started this at first because I miss seeing Wu Lei on my screen but I told myself if this turns out to be bad I would still drop it but I didn’t, because it was good. This drama sometimes made me laugh and sometimes made me cry. Most of all, the characters made me proud. Their growth as a team and individuals touched me like nothing else. Wu Lei’s character also motivates me to be a better version of myself. Like, he has been through a lot but he never gives up. If anything, he grits his teeth and get through it! I’ll be rewatching this whenever I need comfort, definitely. Was this review helpful to you?
Best drama in 2023
This is my 1st ever review. If you are looking for a good drama then go for it without a delay. It still airing I'm on 14th ep, but I can say this will be a hit. (Ig🫣) no the usual drama it's different.Story line:
A sports based story , different from other dramas. Age difference between the leads plays a big part . It's not the usual cliche c drama. This feels different.
ML:
I haven't watched his dramas before, so watching his 1st drama he's so good at acting and expressing everything. The portrayal of the leads is really awesome. Btw he looking good 😉
FL:
I have watched her dramas before she's super cools I love her character very much. She's bold, cute, matured. she's doing justice to her character😍.
The chemistry mmmm🤔 as of now there's not much , I think it will come in the future. they'll make a simple but beautiful pair.💙
This is my 1st review let me know if it's helpful!🫶🏽

Cant' bear to watch till end
I really like Zhou Yu Tong in Begin Again so I was waiting for this drama and my friend said Leo Wu's acting is good, the promotion videos and photos are promising but turned out this is not my cup of tea.So many struggles in this one, and almost nothing to balance that, i just saw they are keep suffering with so little reward after that. In tennis ML need to keep up with the training but in romance he also need to keep up with the FL. FL so reasonable at the first episode, so smart in dealing with people and know everyone's character, but she doesn't know how to face the ML.
Usually there will be some comedy in the middle of serious drama, but I just see that everyone has their own problem.

First time seeing Wu Lei in modern clothes.
I didn't imagine that I'd fall in love with this series when I started watching it. Loved it. The story is so well written.Wu Lei & Zhou Yu Tong have great chemistry together. They look good together.
This is the 3rd series of Wu Lei I'm watching after Love Like The Galaxy & The Long Ballad. I just love him. He impressed me with his acting skills. In these 3 series, he portrays three different characters with ease. Wu Lei's expression in some scenes was so good as well as hilarious.
Song San Chuan is a young, hard-working athlete. He is a charming, handsome, smart, cheerful, mature & straightforward guy. At first, it looked like he was a cold & unsocial guy. That is because his surroundings were not friendly & supportive. Afterward, he became a loving, funny, friendly person. Liang You An is a hardworking girl, great at her work. Doing everything right to get a promotion, but her boss is holding her back because she is that good of a special assistant.
Song San Chuan & Liang You An have a mature & understanding relationship. They are always standing by each other. Their age was never a problem for them because of their understanding of each other. They solve their problems with communication, which is rare in the series. In every other series, communication is what is lacking between the main leads. There is no stupid & jealous second lead who wants to come in between the main leads ( which is a relief). The support that Liang You An gave to Song San Chuan is remarkable. In every sport, she is there to support him.
Love An Cong, he so cares for Song San Chuan despite him not being his son. He treated Song San Chuan like his own.
Hate Jiang Jie. He is an arrogant, selfish, self-centered person. Everything revolves around him.
Whose small details Song San Chuan remembers of Liang You An is so sweet. Like Liang You An doesn't eat green so he is pick greens out. The scene where they play in playground was so sweet. Song San Chuan asking Liang You An for a date while jumping he was so cute. The look on Song San Chuan face when Liang You An asked him to remove is clothes off he was terrified. Liang You An care & worries after seeing Song San Chuan injured fingers & coming every night to keep him company was sweet.
Finally, Song San Chuan got a supportive teammate & friends. Chen Zhe was the 1st person to help Song San Chuan at tennis. He is the 1st friend Song San Chuan had. After that, Dai Yi started to help him at tennis. All because they saw how hardworking & dedicated Song San Chuan is at tennis. Jiang Jiao Jiao at 1st was arrogant, a spoiled brat, but afterward he also became best friends with Song San Chuan. These 4 have such a wonderful friendship. Always supporting each other, encouraging each other. Jiang Jiao Jiao & Song San Chuan friendship is so funny & childish, they're the best.
I can free their pain & struggle to stand on the bus, I face it everyday.
Love Song San Chuan & Liang You An zoo date. They were so cute. Having fun just for one day, forgetting everything, just enjoying themselves.
It made me sad seeing Song San Chuan getting rejected twice by Liang You An.
The scene where all of his friends have to hit Song San Chuan for practice & they weren't willing to do it but had to. Hurt & guilt in their faces when the ball hit Song San Chuan.
Jiang Jiao Jiao expression when he caught Song San Chuan & Liang You An smiling at each other. Jiang Jiao Jiao helping Song San Chuan so the coach didn't doubt him.
Song San Chuan getting jealous of the D3 manager for taking too much to Liang You An. Song San Chuan calling himself a pervert.
Loved how Song San Chuan ran to Liang You An when she said that she didn't want to be alone & is afraid. He kept her company, cooked for her, played games with her & cheering her up was so cute.
With style, Song San Chuan entered & introduced himself as Liang You An boyfriend to her ex. I just loved it. Song San Chuan scolding Liang You An for wearing too much makeup & keeping a few buttons of her shirt open & her telling him to keep his collar down was so hilarious.
The way An Cong convinced Song San Chuan to play the match was so funny. His reaction after seeing Liang You An in Song San Chuan clothes.
Love Zhang Yan expression of everything, it was so on point.
Love Song San Chuan, Jiang Jiao Jiao & Chen Zhe friendship and the way they tackle the bullies. Jiang Jiao Jiao & Chen Zhe getting into the bathroom with Song San Chuan to find out what he said was hilarious.
How dedicated Song San Chuan is, even in his sleep he is practising.
Song San Chuan's shocked expression when Liang You An suddenly kissed him.
It was funny to see when Song San Chuan caught Liang You An telling Luo Nian about them & her reaction afterwards.
My most favorite scene of Song San Chuan & Liang You An is them living together for a few months. They experience so much together, living a life free of burden. So many sweet & cute moments they had.
This series is a must watch. One of my favorite series.

A very nice series with Leo Wu (still excellent, but here, absolutely remarkable <3 <3<3)
I like Sports dramas and Leo Wu. Thus, I've watched this series, and I liked it very much !!The good sides:
- well-constructed, intelligent story: meeting between 1 "failed" badminton player and 1 sports company assistant. She will manage, then create her own tennis club, and help him "transfer" to tennis to pursue a brilliant career there.
- consistent character development,
- Very credible CL, with slow burn romance, linked to the FL's understandable hesitations because of many obstacles: manager/player status, age gap, disappointing previous experience, bitter mother, etc.
- Natural interactions within the CL,
– Leo Wu is really GREAT in his sports scenes, both badminton and tennis.
- Team's friendship is well-developed and valued,
- funny but realistic CL2 and CL3 relationships,
- coherent Sports/training parts, with credible actors and scenes. The unseen side, the commercial aspects are exposed clearly but without melodrama.
- well-developed family aspect (both the FL family and the ML family) including the experience of divorce.
The lesser:
- Lots of screentime on the club's construction.
- Scenes in Spain less credible (I am European and I find the vision of Europe always simplistic in dramas :(
=> Excellent series, a gem for Leo Wu fans ;)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Drama You Truly Shouldn’t Miss!
I am not really a person who enjoys sports dramas that much. For example, I once tried watching a Chinese drama about chess, but I found it boring. I also tried a drama about e-sports, and it didn’t suit my taste either. But when it comes to basketball, I am truly a fan. What makes this drama different is how the story flows with a mix of sports and romance. The romance here isn’t vulgar—it grows naturally, just like life itself. You feel as if you’re following someone’s journey from childhood, crawling and growing, through adolescence, youth, and maturity—psychologically, emotionally, intellectually, and even physically. Watching it, you feel joy, you smile, you get sad, and you cry as well.
It’s like being reminded that you were born into this world with a purpose: to experience life, to love, and to learn. And even if your emotional relationship is broken, you try to fix it—or sometimes make the tough decision to end it for the good of both. This drama makes you feel so much that you forget everything else while watching. Time passes so quickly that when it ends, you feel an emptiness, like you’ve lost a part of your life.
I actually came across this masterpiece by pure coincidence. I was going to watch another drama with the same title from the year before, but with a completely different plot. Choosing this one instead was the best decision—I felt I had given sports dramas a second chance.
And honestly, I think I will definitely rewatch it, 100%. Whenever I want to lift my mood or relive the feelings, this drama will be my go-to choice.

MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!
This series is a perfect example of two imperfect people who can grow perfectly by being together. I really want a Song Sanchaun in my life.I generally skip some scenes or episodes in cdramas but this was one of the best Chinese drama I have seen. I couldn't skip even a second of any episode.
In some dramas, negative roles can make a huge impact on the audience. Whenever we talk about the character our blood boils but in this drama the writing is so good that we won’t mind if a character appears again because every episode is divided into such a beautiful story that it can overtake those negative characters.
I love how Liang Tao and Jiang Jiao got married. Sometimes the thought of getting married will come in an instant and the next thing you know, you are already married. I love that part.
Dialogue delivery is so perfect in this drama that we can use some of them as affirmations.
The male leads relationship is quite mature from the start. So many people complain that male lead only face struggles in the drama but the thing which they want to tell us through this series is how an athlete goes through so much. I found it quite real. Changing to another field in their twenties is not easy that to be if they want to play on a professional level. And excelling in that is another thing.
Phantom pain is so beautifully shown here because our mind doesn’t know how to forget the pain even if our body does. The fear of getting hurt again is the worst nightmare for any sportsperson.
I lost all hope for Jiang Jie when he asked his wife to tell him the truth about her having an affair they signed the divorce papers. He wanted people to live like his loyal dogs but he didn't want to give them treats nor he wanted to protect them. Typical narcissistic behaviour.
He always asked what wrong he did to people. Why everyone is treating him like that but when people tell him he listens from one ear and takes it out from the other. I was happy when his wife decided to leave him and when Liang You’an drew a diagram of their worlds to make him understand. He always talks about age age age. If a person can be this mature in his early twenties(male lead) then he can also be in his forties and fifties but we should never let our inner child or innocence die and the female lead explained this well in the wedding episode. I was afraid of Jiang Jao’s character that he would be like his dad but his character development was so good, especially after 20 episodes.
You’an and Sanchuan’s relationship was so cute and mature. I fell in love with Wu Leo’s character here. I only found him childish in two situations. First, he didn't come for the match because of their fight and second time when he signed the contract with Yisu. But then they make us remember that he is also 23 and he can make mistakes. It's his first time in everything. I like that part too. After the wild card match when he fell on the ground with one leg and then the pain in the ambulance. Wow so impressed. He acted so well. I have seen some of his dramas but by far this one is my favourite. She took him to another place for rehab because she didn't want him to feel guilty or any kind of pressure after seeing his friends.
One of my favourite dialogues is when he said to Liang You’an- I hate those people who always go for FREEBIES. I like Liang You’an, not Liang You’an’s child.
An song is the best stepdad dad whether it's in the go head series or this one. I loved their relationship and the way he always supported him. He always gave such beautiful advice whether it was for his career or his relationship.
One of the best ones- Anything that is hard to discuss between two people, you shouldn't avoid it.
In the friendship aspect as well this drama aced for me. Song Sanchaun has mostly seen toxic people in his badminton career but here they were so supportive and protective towards him. Jiao Jiao was only rude in the beginning because tennis for him is a very big deal and he doesn't want anyone to take this sport lightly. When the four of them talked in the last second episode about their future was so beautifully portrayed. They all grew.
These were my thoughts on the drama.
These are only my thoughts for the drama.
People who haven't seen this beautiful drama should definitely give it another try.

I say check it out. It's beautiful!
I recently watched Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. Wow, complicated name in English, hahahahaha, sorry, I'm not fluent at all... Anyway, as I told a friend, besides the horror trends, I tend to fall madly in love with stories about older women and younger men. Some of this is due to the fact that men have always matured later in relationships. Prejudice? Yes may be. I call that, life experience. Whatnot. The fact is that I really liked the Snooker drama, but I loved this one. Without wanting to compare both dramas, the focus of which is beside the point at the moment,
Anyway, sorry, it's difficult not to have a minimum of comparison: Both have a sports theme, both have Leo Wu and both have FLs with great references and acting.
Nothing but you, despite being a longer and, in my opinion, more complex drama, and having been filmed in about 7 months, seems to have less recognition among the general public. Meanwhile, Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, although it had participation from other countries and was more successful, was filmed in 3 months. Both have their merits and are well worth checking out.
Nothing but you, although it has more positive points than negative points, I believe that some scenes could be edited and, therefore, reduce the viewing time. 30 episodes would be a good size, without losing its charming essence in any way.
Even though I came here for Leo Wu, I must admit that Zhou Yu Tong was brilliant. A mature, intelligent, independent, strong character and, most of the time, in control of situations. His little display of ingenuity in the final chapters, while criticized by some, was adorable.
Leo Wu, although he has already witnessed his most impressive performances, here he knew how to embody Song San Chuan masterfully. An impeccable athletic body...mercy! I can't let this observation pass 😊, beautiful, it's a fact! But his moments as a rebellious boy, stubbornness and insecurity typical of immaturity, were unique. I confess, I enjoyed each one of them.
Very good supporting cast, although they spent an extended amount of time on the younger sister and her necessary family members. I think it would have been better to have invested more in the story of the other athletes, the nutritionist friend and the coach Zhang Yan.
Anyway, if you have doubts about checking out this drama, I say check it out. It's beautiful!
I will never forget my moments with my son by my side, talking about tennis rules, nor that, in my entire life, I admired this sport so much.
