This drama is a perfect choice if you want to watch a smooth rom-com drama

This drama truly impressed me by sparking an interest in ancient Chinese culture—from its music to fashion. Tan Jian Ci and Zhou Ye were excellent, and I loved that it skipped typical rom-com clichés like love triangles or childish leads. It was perfect in many ways!
Missed Opportunities
My main critique & the only flaw i think this drama had were the limited screen time for the second leads, Zhou Zheng and Geng Xiaoxing. Their chemistry felt wasted. I also wished for a traditional Chinese wedding and more presence from the main characters' parents+ fengyasong & Doudous. These omissions prevented it from being a perfect 10/10.
Despite these minor flaws, I wholeheartedly recommend this sweet and engaging drama. I binged it quickly, and it left me with that bittersweet feeling of saying goodbye to a good friend as i finish watching this drama as this was really good! If anyone read my review & you're a rom-com lover then i will say please watch this drama! Watching this drama will definitely be worth of your precious leisure time!Signing Off!🫶

UNDERRATED!!!!

This is such an underrated drama. You don’t hear many ppl talking about it, but it’s actually so comforting to watch. There’s no misunderstanding, no breakups, no drama. Just plain romance, found family, and such a good community for all the characters to grow up in. I loved it, it was so sweet. The only thing I would say is I think for there being no misunderstandings or anything, 33 episodes was a little bit much. Also, there were certain parts that were a little bit repetitive because the drama is so problem free. But overall, I LOVED their relationship and how healthy it was. This is literally everyone’s dream relationship and man.

Qiang Qingci being the name of the male lead is either really coincidental or planned. Tan Jianci being the main lead and his name sounds just like his character. I’ve watched like Hi6 with Tan Jianci and for some reason, his voice is so much deeper in this drama. I don’t think it’s dubbed for Qiang Qingci, which is pretty impressive especially with the singing parts. Tan Jianci’s voice is so beautiful. Same with whoever dubs Zhou Ye’s singing parts.

Tan Jianci and Zhou Ye both have such big doe eyes, which rlly makes their gazes really emotional and sweet. When they had the scene where Qiang Qingci was watching Gu Sheng sing at the 10th anniversary at Perfect Voice, their gazes were captivating. They’re both so in love.

Qiang Qingci is such a green flag, he can literally do everything. Cook, clean, sing, narrate, drive, and he’s a doctor too.

Why is this drama so cute? From the first episode, the love at first sight trope works in this drama. Usually, I don’t like it, but it’s so sweet. Both of them fell in love with the other through their voices. Qiang Qingci’s dubbing deep voice and then Gu Sheng’s singing voice at the supermarket.

They make each other so happy even if they haven’t met in person yet. Every time they talk to each other, their smiles are so big and genuine. Especially for someone like Qiang Qingci who doesn’t really openly express his emotions, his interest in Gu Sheng is really new and different.

Their first meeting at the recording studio was filmed perfectly. It wasn’t too exaggerated, but it was definitely emotionally reassuring. I’m also so glad that they were both happy with the other person, as they had coincidentally met before. Their gazes and eyes make other people feel like no one else is in the room and it’s just them interacting. Qiang Qingci is really caring too, making sure Gu Cheng feels comfortable.

I love all of their interactions. Them cooking for each other and the trip was so cute. They spent so much time together. Episode 17 where they were about to kiss…ugh I’m waiting for it. Qiang Qingci is actually the most unproblematic caring bf. The fact he’s never had a relationship but knows exactly how to care for his gf. His voice is also so soft spoken when talking to her. Gu sheng is so lucky. But Gu Sheng is also such a good gf. She’s always thinking of Qiang Qingci, I loved when she came over and cared for him when he was sick. So comforting.

Awwww…their first kiss was so cute in episode 19. It wasn’t anything special, just a peck, but for some reason, it’s one of the most wholesome first kisses ever. AUGGHH I CANT. Op. I spoke too soon. Their second kiss was pretty spicy. Against the glass door in public though…the tension lowk pretty high. Qiang Qingci’s breathy voice when talking during that part ahhh.

I also love the 2nd couple. Zhou Zheng is like the unexpected good bf that you wouldn’t think is a good bf. They’re lowk both shy and their interactions are really cute together. It’s like so awkward that it’s cute. Everything is like love at first sight for all the couples 💕
- Also though, Zhou Zheng made such a good point that I feel like a lot of people go through in real life. He was scared to start something because he didn’t want to jeopardize their friendship just in case their relationship ended. That’s such a big factor to consider when coming to terms with one’s feelings. Like, is it worth it? Would I rather have them as a friend instead of risk it? Or is it worth the risk? I loved that conflict from Zhou Zheng, it felt so genuine.

I also love the 3rd “couple”, Feng Yasong and Doudou Jie. They’re so unexpected, but their chemistry works so well. Doudou jie also deserves to be with someone caring and Feng Yasong is that guy. He’s like a little puppy but will take care of you. I wish we would’ve got to see more of them and their dating story. AWWWW…when he finally confessed and they just simply held hands in silence. They’re so cuteeeeee.

This is such a healing drama. When the rain was super bad and Gu Sheng was stuck in the supermarket, she didn’t want Qiang Qingci to worry, so she pretended like she was already at home. But, Qiang Qingci knows her better than that and figured out that she was still at the supermarket alone. So, he drove in the thundering rain to come stay with her to protect her and keep her safe. They both try to make the other as worry free as possible. This is what reciprocity should be like in a relationship.

The part when Qiang Qingci decided to step back from the spotlight of dubbing and singing, I actually got super emotional. I loved the way his last performance was portrayed. The emotion of all his years and time spent in this business and he’s deciding to let it go. The way he bowed towards the entire crowd and then stayed to watch every fan leave. He’s such a mature person and his perspectives of everything are always so caring and understanding of others.

Why was the proposal so nonchalant bruh? In bed, just talking. Lowk tho, the timeline is kinda insane. They barely met in person, have only dated for a little while and are getting married.😭😭 I mean, technically they didn’t confirm it until 2 years later, but he still proposed the question. But, when Qiang Qingci explained how he knew it was her voice..AHHHHHH. The way they met by complete chance and Qiang Qingci being completely in love with her voice when she first sang, literally, it was love at first voice.

A very slow drama, perfect if you want to see softness and nothing more

This drama is soft, cute, and slow may be a little bit too slow for me.
The love story is beautiful, and I have loved the discovery of the universe of voice songs actors. Cherry on the cake: wonderful songs all along the serie.
But my rate is only 7 because, at the end, it becomes too boring for me. I have watched only 26 episodes, and then I have jumped to the last one: We follow the love story of the main leads, and it is very romantic but nothing happened outside of this story. Of course, this is not the type of drama where you expect vilains or plot twists, but here this is too much for me..I would expect that something happens.
Besides, I prefer watching the leads falling in love, and in this story, they fall in love at the first sight, and almost before that.. I don't find it very interesting.
I advice this for all people who need softness and love, but nothing more.

Nonesense

I call this a drama of nothing!! Nothing happens really except a creepy romance between a much older man and a college student. He is apparently a surgents who has time to be a voice actors as well! They love each other voice and then they meet eat, listen to voices and music, 24/7 going out in their happy world where nothing goes wrong.. It felt like an Mv of a dad taking his daughter out to try diffrent food everyday. Fl is the shy naive, never been in a relationship kind of girl so ml was patient with her so very slow burn. Honestly I don't find this endearing why are you after an unexperienced young girl in the first place. Feels like grooming!! That's pretty much everything that happens a bunch of nothing

Cute drama that fill you with butterflies

I watch this bc of Tan Jian Ci. Become a fan of him after lost you forever and under the skin. I expected not much from this drama since it seemed a too light romance comedy. I was worry it will bored me.
But turned out i love this so much. It is based on novel and it is executed so damn well.
I know the main lead characters are out of the world, too perfect to be true, but hey just enjoyed it. We need to create the world with that positivity.
Tan jian ci nailed the character of Qiang Qing Ci aka Dr Mo very well. He is introverted, well manner, he know what he want and go for it, which i really love. He is so cute yet hot in here, absolutely one of the good kisser in cdrama.
Zhou ye is suprisingly good, can potrayed Sheng2 character , even better than the novel.
They have good chemistry. Their encounters always made me giggle bc it is that sweet and adorable, remind me of old times. Their kisses also very good. From cute then hot.
The other supporting roles are all great too. I love their friendship, so believable.
Some people found it slow but i don't think so. Bc i always enjoyed each eps and felt sad it is over now .
Watching this drama give me butterflies and happy feeling, a very healing and relaxing drama. Thx to the director and krus for doing a great job.
By this time, i already rewatch it 3 times. Gosh, this is my healing drama.

Just cute and happy!

I love this drama so much it truly gave me so much happiness, the main leads were so adorable and I think what's so great about this drama is it's just happy there's no drama no breakup it's just lovely and sweet. However, as much as I adored this drama the one problem I have is the ending, he bought an apartment for the two of them BUT WE NEVER GOT TO SEE IT NOR DID WE SEE THEM GET MARRIED, people were saying that 33 episodes is a lot of episodes for a drama that is fast pace but if anything it was rushed, and yes i usually want more after watching a great drama but this isn't a case of wow i love this drama so much i want to watch them get married to have children and die (while i would for that too) it just felt like something was missing like.

Like I love them so much but I'm just so disappointed (so disappointed I cried at the end) with the ending but I do not regret watching this one bit.

But at least I have the OSTs to listen to they had such good music in this drama and it just makes it extra beautiful!!

(also I'm sad the drama didn't have any variety show promotions like I know they went on a show together before and it was in Gulin too omg this was fate, but obviously, they weren't as close as they are now)

This drama is healing, cute and naive romance story with alot cooking, traveling, singing and friendship.

No beef, no triangle, no big plot. And most characters are quite temperamental with unique charisma I loved almosst all of them.

Whole drama is more like travelling through life with band of best friends and your lover.
It portraits life which probably everyone crave for and seems reachable and at same time so far away. With one word ... Idyllic

cons - :no story: here means that whole drama can be boring for some which seeks action. This drama really just slowly shows main leads and their friends slice of life.

plot - FL is university student and quite talented song composer. She is fan of ML who is well known voice actor. One day ML visits her :public chat room: and talks to her for little. Shortly after it ML and FL ends up work together on project which will connect their lives.

Feel Good, Relaxing and Smooth Sailing Drama

When I first read the synopsis before the drama Aired I thought it sounded a bit odd and I didn't have huge expectation's going into this drama, but it has been a surprising delight and a welcome form of distraction from my daily life.

This drama was such a feel good, relaxing and smooth sailing drama and it did exactly what its supposed to do, giving us butterflies and drawing us in with each episode which is hard to find in romance dramas in dreamland. I’ve seen soo many Kramas, Cdrama that claimed to be 'romantic' but adult couples will only kiss twice and call it a day.

The whole drama focuses on the a developing relationship of the two main leads Mo Qing Cheng (Tan Jian Ci) and Gu Sheng ( Zhou Ye). A relationship without misunderstandings or anyone or anything interfering with them which in some dramas could be seen as rather gloomy and yet in this drama they continued to deliver pleasantly pleasing moments impeccably and I think we need to thank their chemistry for this.
The writers and director were also able to give us that sweet but with sizzling undertone kind of chemistry that give enough tension in their intimate moments perfectly and timely Otherwise these kind of overloaded sweetness can quickly be boring and cringy but thankfully it wasn’t in this case.
The Drama was just exceedingly good and delivered in all areas from casting , to pacing , to storyline to directing and the acting and also all the OST was amazing with Tan Jian Ci voice on many of the OST was just incredible. Absolutley Brilliant Romance drama.

Sweet & Lovely Drama

This drama was so beautiful and sweet, like balm to the soul. It's is such a sweet, precious story that unfolds slowly without much angst.

Beautifully written and acted with a fascinating story, breathtaking scenery, elegant costumes, and gorgeous music. I'm in tears because it's over and I miss the characters already. I wish I had a friend group like this.

The pacing was slow and gentle, but if you have patience it pays off in a satisfying way later on.

This is my first time watching any of these actors or actresses, but I'm definitely looking them up and will gladly watch their other dramas. They are incredibly talented and fun to watch.

It's been a long time since a drama left this big of an impact on me.
