Jia Yi runs back home to her parents when, in a drunken stupor, Wei Ming tells her his wife in Lin Shuang. Lin Shuang lost the bid for Ark as Wei Ming had swapped out the incorrect data her algorithm was trained on, causing her to question Jiang Xi’s motives. She pursues other avenues to get her algorithm in the industry while Jiang Xi resigns from Ark.
