4. Both the cheating husband get what they deserve in the end. So everything in the dramas are worth the wait.
Differences:
1.MMH has time travel of ML and FL.
2. The SFL is Alliance turns from mistress to bff with the FL. But in MMH SML is a devil and never realizes her mistakes.
3.Alliance has a lovely kid name Pingguo, daughter of the FL and SML.
5. Alliance has more episodes. but is kind of a hidden gem.

Story plot is almost the same. Highly skilled FL became a full time housewife decides to re enter workforce. Alliance though has less toxic vibe compared to the latter drama mentioned.

The First Half of My Life is similar to Alliance as both have infidelity, financial issues, and wonderful character growth and rebirth. Excellent pacing, no fast forwarding required.

Korean drama that also features a woman who finds out her husband has been cheating on her. More melodramatic than “Alliance” and the woman’s reaction is different, however.

- FL is naturally born smart and very good at what she does.
- FL's dream and talent put on hold because she got married, where she is forced to take care of her husband's family.
- FL's husband cheats, abuses her and later, discarded her for someone who's very high in status. Husband is narcissistic and only cares about himself.
- Husband's new wife is brazen and way more dominant, because she has been spoiled by her rich and powerful parents her whole life, in which, he later regretted his choice of betraying his ex-wife.
- Husband's family are evil and conniving, always prioritizing their son over their daughter in law's wellbeing. She's treated as personal maid rather than family.
- FL successfully divorce her husband through smart and calculated moves.
- FL had to start from zero and only rely on her brain to build their own businesses, which, turns out to be hella successful.
- Both dramas shown lots of sisterly bond and warm relationship between a new found family.
- ML is a successful and well respected figure, whom, fell in love with FL.

Differences:
- for obvious reasons, the theme are different, one is modern and the other is historical.
- Alliance's FL's reason for marry was because she was in love at the time, and endures the grievances she has due to love for her daughter. Flourished Peony's FL was forced to marry due to the fact that her mother's life was at stake.
- Alliance's FL has a daughter, while Flourished Peony's FL doesn't.

Older Korean drama that deals with a woman juggling a struggling marriage plus work, and the possibility of new love. No revenge arc like in “Alliance” but some of the themes are similar

FL is a housewife with a husband who seriously mistreats her. She eventually divorces and figures out her groove again. Similar themes to “Alliance” except in “Twenty Again” the FL’s child is a young adult

- Same actor playing male leads, the ML in Nothing but Thirty is a good guy in general unlike the role in Alliance.
- very similar in the sense of how career, friends, family is always a challenge to balance for an educated smart modern day female now
- unfairness, unfortunately in times and days like these a lot of unfairness and inequality still exist because of stereotypical gender roles
- money, how important money is because it is also indirectly determines how much power a person holds

Both drama are female centric.
Both are about females trying to find direction in their lives.
Both are about cheating and other relationship problems
Both got sismance which came out of failed relationship

In both dramas the FL gave up a promising career to be a housewife, however after she learns about her husband's infidelity she gets divorced and has to start over from scratch in Shanghai. When she's at her lowest, she meets the ML.

Similar in the aspect... Both FL get cheated on by their husbands and the story follows their growth from a homemaker to career oriented woman.... balancing work and home life as perfectly as possible.... Dr. Cha is more quirky with heartbreaking and comedy scenes mixed in between... while Alliance has more serious tones...
