Awesome beginning

He is the guy of papers, but wants to do something different and his poems somehow woke up a demon maybe. I think this is the explanation of the end of this episode.

Five Stars

After the horrifying murder of Yu Menglong, my heart is aching whenever I see a topless actor. I can't stop but thinking something diabolic might happen to them too, just because they are young and good-looking. I'm having a really, really hard time trying to watch Chinese dramas any longer. It's a shame though, because Dylan Wang does an outstanding job here. The cruelty of this incident seems to have affected me deeper than I could imagine. Maybe I need a therapist, I don't know... But to think that human beings can be subjected to such brutality by other human beings (if they can qualify as such), it's disturbing. I feel the urge to protect these artists and, at the same time, devastated, powerless, helpless. And I cannot even begin to imagine what/ how they are feeling consequently to this tragedy. (And others. I know there were many others). I pray that every artist out there is safe. May we all be safe on this earth.

Xu Qi An got to work on files again LOL

I love, love humor in this. The way Xu Qi An had to work on his files again was so reminiscent of first few episodes. Love his shenanigans with princess as well. Very well-built show.

This episode excels in performances, particularly Dylan Wang as Xu Qi'an, who balances humor and frustration well. The chemistry between him and Caiwei adds depth to the investigation. The editing is sharp, particularly in suspenseful scenes, maintaining a strong pace while focusing on character moments. The cinematography continues to impress, with atmospheric shots enhancing the supernatural elements. The episode effectively builds on the series' momentum and deepens the mystery and character development.
