Two centuries ago, Patriarch Bei Chen died sealing demons, leading to the formation of the Six Sects. Fifteen years ago, Demon Sect leader Nie Heng Cheng was killed when Cai Ping Shu sacrificed herself, restoring peace. Her niece Cai Zhao, unruly by nature, is sent to Qingque Sect to train. On the journey, she survives the Chang family massacre and saves the poisoned boy Chang Ning. At Qingque, Cai Zhao grows suspicious of Chang Ning’s strange behavior.
