In snow-covered Qingque Town, Cai Zhao encounters Qian Xue Shen and Mu Qing Yan. Mu sparks chaos at an inn by revealing a Snow Dragon Scale, exposing hidden dangers among the crowd. The group later enters the mountains and is trapped in a deadly illusion array, where Qian Xue Shen manipulates the terrain and disappears after faking her death. A frozen corpse exposes long-hidden conspiracies, including Duan Jiu Xiu’s ambition and his faked death years earlier. Qian Xue Shen reveals how her family was massacred after saving him. As disaster strikes, Duan is dragged into the abyss by a giant serpent, with Qinuo following. An avalanche engulfs the area, and Mu Qing Yan shields Cai Zhao as she falls from a cliff.
