Qian Xue Shen recalls witnessing his family’s massacre as a child and surviving in silence before being taken in by Qian Mian Sou. To break the forbidden technique, they try hatching a dragon beast egg using Cai Zhao’s blood. When enemies close in, Qian Xue Shen summons an ice crystal python with his jade flute, declaring years of vengeance. After the mountain collapses again, he vows to guard the snow mountains forever and entrusts the dragon beast to Cai Zhao before vanishing into the storm.
