Forgotten Plumbing - mafia, BDSM, only not really
Adapted from the y-novel Mafia's Bad Love, (originally featured both a gay poly triad and a GL sub plot). Stared Yoon (YYY, Paint With Love, My Ride) as a mafia Dom and Ton (Y-Destiny) as the accountant sub. Kim has a one night stand with a random stranger who becomes obsessed with him. Pretty soon into it I began to think this show should be called Forgotten Kink rather than Unforgotten Night. There isn't any. Mostly there's faucets left on and shower heads used for tie points (don't DO that). But honestly it was just bad. There is a moral to this show but I’m not sure what it is. Don’t combine your BDSM-but-not-really BL pulp with plumbing? In the end, this dumpster fire was extinguished by a garden hose and all we were left with was leaky pipes and the smell of damp trash. The only kinks were in the hose. Was this review helpful to you?

Bad version of KinnPorsche
Dont get me wrong. I love YoonTor but what the actual fuck is this story about? Why is the plot seems messy and tbh i feel like 12 episodes are too long for shitty story like this. Dont waste your time. I cant believe I gave this series a second chance. I did try to watch it earlier when it first release but boy…. Im sorry but this is just not it. The only thing that makes it better is the acting and cast but thats it.And whats with the threesome sex scene? HOW IS IT RELATED TO THE PLOT??????? Like… bruh. And then what is it really happened with Day and Kim? No explanation no nothing. Bruh.

Chill Series
I really like the way they did not put too much cliff hangers and over all a chill series that make you fall especially Kim smile. The way they are acting is so calm and composed. The story revolves around its main focus really and never became stray from its goal which you can witness it in the end.
Talk about Trust, Love, Lust, Understanding, Openness, and Time to Heal something that is broken and to move forward on what's to come

Looking at camp right in the eye
The script for this could be modified into an absolute crack up of a parody with like a 5 minute review probably.I absolutely can't believe that the series is somehow funnier than the reviews written here because reading the reviews already got me rolling but the series itself made me accidentally howl in laughter at 3am.
It is actually hillarious how much of a failure Kamol is as a mafia AND as a potential boyfriend like baby please be good at just ONE thing I beg. The pink drink product placement is just so put of place that I absolutely howl everytime it appears. The multiple random montages throughout the series is also giving the vibes of a 10 year old with a phone saying "I made this for mother's day". I am also absolutely in LOVE with the random bodyguard threesome thrown in literally out of nowhere.
But the funniest thing from this series is probably the ending montage because the half assed BDSM themes, half assed romance, and half assed mafia theme combined with the music is just constantly funny no matter how often I watch it. Also I find it hillarious that apparently the lead actors are dating irl bc there is absolutely no sexual tension on screen that I have to believe that they are actually dating so there's no tension left on cam.
Please watch it, I haven't laughed this much in a long time. I seriously unironically love this series.

This will include things from the novel
So basically I’m going to divide in two parts then compare them at the endDrama part:
So basically this is probably the best and worst drama I’ve watched that’s about mafia. The acting is at best sub-par. But the thing is I am not sure if the acting is bad due to the character portrayal or not because irl the actors are so cute with each other. Although the characters the presented did kinda make me believe that the love in Kamol’s part was at least real. If you want to watch this because of BDSM elements this is definitely not it. I think the only true BDSM scene is the one in the very first episode and that scene is even stretching it to be called a BDSM scene. And there are 12 episodes. The story line is actually not bad at all. Although the fact that Kamol chose Kim purely off the fact that Kim could withstand Kamol’s violence during sex has always been very odd to me. I do like the drama a lot though because it makes more sense than the novel to me and they add somethings in not originally included in. The drama at the end shows Kim and Kamol getting married and meeting his parents which is not in the novel so that was actually a very nice touch I loved because in bls typically there is not a marriage scene. I’m aware that the drama may not show things in the novel because the novel is actually pretty intense and due to the viewing audiences not being very open about it due to the fact that Thailand is an Asian country and Asian countries are typically pretty conservative with their views. Overall great drama but could use a bit of work.
Novel:
I’m just going to start off by saying the novel is wayyyy dirtier than the drama. In the novel Kim and Kamol are like always having genuine BDSM sex. And I mean the real thing with tying up and everything. I’m just going to put this out here but it’s so real that Kim actually starts bleeding the first time he hooks up with Kamol due to um repeated uh… penetration of a certain someone. Also in the novel Kamol is portrayed as much flirtier than in the drama. There are certain habits in the novel not portrayed in the drama such as Kamol always chuckles a bit if he thinks Kim is being cute. Kamol called Kim his wife so frequent it’s found in literally every chapter. Kamol is also shown to be far more possessive and I guess I would say more intimidating and authoritative. Kim is portrayed as much more hot headed, emotional, and thirsty for sex. In the novel Kim is depicted as a very fair skinned man who is very pretty. People actually mistake him for a woman at times. The novel actually doesn’t show as many sweet scenes as it does in the drama. I personally felt the novel was a bit messy as I often got a bit lost while reading it. I say this because in the novel Danai is actually not the one who kidnapped Danil and Kim. It was a former enemy named Chen who kidnapped them due to some conflicting business issues such as stealing customers and business. The drama adds Cherry in who is not originally included in the novel. However I like it because it adds understanding. I’m not entirely sure but I think the author might have been a bit horny when writing this novel. All the sex scenes are very intense and Kim and Kamol don’t just do it once in a night. They do it maybe three or four times in a night. The novel actually depicts Kim as more of an avid drinker than shown in the drama. However after he meets Kamol he stops drinking so much. Kim mainly drank to forget Day. In the novel there is no threesome of the bodyguards so basically the director of the drama said ‘fuck it we’ll throw it in’. The tigers are much more symbolic as well. Their names are Chantilly and Whipped- Cream. When Kamol rescues Kim the second time he brings the tigers with him and the tigers actually attack and bite Chen ultimately killing him. Also when Kim is in the tiger cage and Danil comes to see him Chantilly actually approached Kim and licks his face in affection. The novel actually has funny parts such as Kim can tell when Kamol or his subordinates lie to him or Kamol knowing when Kim will be mad at him. I think what I like most about the novel though is that it does show how Kim changed Kamol’s life. Such as after work Kamol would grab drinks or hook up with a call boy. After Kim, Kamol stopped doing that and even started to go home immediately after work. Also it shows a little bit more of a human side to Kamol because originally it says Kamol would not get much sleep and would even go nights without sleeping. So then Kim would tell Kamol to sleep and rest and on the vacation Kamol actually sleeps normal hours which Kamol is unfamiliar with.
Comparison:
Now that I think about it I think the drama might be bad because the novel is just really messy. The directors of the drama had to add characters and change the entire story around to be understandable compared to the novel. One thing I did like in the novel is the fact that Aunt Nee is shown as more of a mother to Kim. It was very sweet. I prefer the drama over the novel because it makes sense and I feel more sweet than the novel. Like in the drama there are many scenes where Kim and Kamol just talk. Like seriously talk which is not often found in the novel. I also feel that the drama is more in depth than the novel. The novel is pretty shallow as it mostly revolves around misunderstandings and petty arguing. Although in the novel Kim did punch and kick the shit out of Danai which I loved. I really love the drama though even if it is a bit comical due to bad portrayal. The novel though is more of a ‘turn on’ to read. Its explicit with the sex scenes. The rest of the novel is pretty shallow and doesn’t have much feel to it. While in the drama there is less sex and more feel. Basically if I didn’t know any better I would say the novel and the drama are different things with a ton of coincidences. That’s how different they are. They just have too many coincides to be considered different.
For anyone wondering about Khom and Baiboon:
In the novel it’s actually way worse than in the drama. Baiboon is wrote as 15 years old while Khom is definitely much older than Baiboon so the relationship between them is much more creepy as it kind of shows grooming towards Baiboon. Baiboon is left with Aunt Nee(his grandma) after his mother abandoned him. His father died when he was young in an accident and his mother later in life got a boyfriend and abandoned her son to be with her boyfriend and took the money Aunt Nee transferred to her which is why Baiboon wasn’t in school and started halfway through the semester.

For me this drama was really worth watching ?
I just finished watching this drama within 2 nights and I must say it's a really really really good one. The acting, the story line, the cute and spicy scenes, every thing was a number. I don't really watch dramas twice except few ones and now this has become my second drama that I'm going to re-watch... Guys if you haven't watched this drama yet then please believe me, go and watch it right now, you won't regret your decision even for a second....... And last but not the least I would like to request GMMTV to cast them in more dramas please 🥺🥺🥺... I really loved their chemistry.... Their chemistry was chemistrying... Really 😍Was this review helpful to you?
Very unserious
This show is too unserious even for me 😭 like it just felt like they were trying way too hard if that makes sense. The story wasn’t anything new, the acting pissed me off cuz i could that they were acting (it wasn’t natural), the music SUCKED, i hated the color scheme going on, cinematography wasn’t even anything to write home about and overall it was just very goofy but boring 😭 nonetheless it WASN’T BAD which is crazy. i kinda like it in an ironic way, like it’s just SOOOO UNSERIOUS 😭 the show is not a 10/10 but it still feels weird giving it anything less than a 7/10. if you want to giggle a lil, this show is for you lolWas this review helpful to you?
Mild sex, low key violence, Friendships win
I never read the novel, so this review is based solely on what I watched (via Youtube and with English subtitles).LIKES:
Cinematography, lighting, location shots, scenery, fight scene choreography and special effects, were all mostly well done.
Wardrobe was tasteful and flattering for the characters, while suiting the scenes.
The tigers were a beautiful bonus.
Acting:
Chemistry of the actors involved, all meshed okay (some better than others).
Actors/actresses were well chosen for their roles, with a few exceptions.
All of the emotions of the main characters were executed well and acting was decent.
Writing:
I was glad that the BDSM portion of the love/sex scenes wasn’t over the top and was extremely mild.
There was enough drama to get absorbed in the storyline and characters, without being annoying.
I really liked how supportive Kim’s parents (and all the parent figures in this,) were.
The crime/mafia portion had just enough content to suit the story and develop the characters.
Conclusion episode gave the right dose of time to most of the characters.
Production:
A few continuity issues and a few moments of shaky camera filming, but otherwise well done.
Editing was decent and the scenes flowed smoothly for the most part.
Director was good.
Music was okay, but nothing that you’d remember. Glad it didn’t overpower the voices of the acting occurring.
DISLIKES:
Production:
Some of the shower scenes/naked moments, you could see the actor wearing short shorts (it wasn’t blurred or hidden well), which drew away from the impactful moment.
Writing:
The relationship between Kom and Baiboon was cute, but didn’t have enough growth or time to be explored and clarified. It felt too unfinished. Also Baiboon’s age was never confirmed. Was he in high school or first year of university? [Did the script writer leave out important information?].
I wanted a few more moments were Kim was protective of Kamol, to make the ending so much more impactful.
The mafia boss Kamol wasn’t really as dangerous as he should’ve been.
The woman Cherry wasn’t needed at all, mostly there for product placement (which the office ladies that worked for Kim, could’ve done easily.
Directing:
The main characters of Kim and Kamol didn’t kiss open mouth much, this was very PG. It took away from the chemistry of the couple.
BDSM had no erotic moments and didn’t do that sexual practice justice.
OVERALL:
I was glad that the violence and sexual violence wasn’t as graphic or abusive as the KinnPorsche series. Pacing was great too. I do recommend this to anyone who likes friendships and the BL (Boy Love) genre. I will watch this again, because it was a decent BL drama. I missed the hot chemistry of the main leads, that BL dramas such as Love In The Air (Boss & Noeul, Fort & Peat) and Between US (Boun and Prem) gave us. As expected a lot of obvious product placement, but that’s normal in Thai-dramas.

Where's the hot BDSM I was promised?
I was so disappointed. I wanted a hot BDSM with a violent kink. We saw ONE scene and the rest was super vanilla. I wasn't looking for straight prn but a lot of spice added to a decent plot. I thought for sure with such a pretty male lead and a tough mafia guy who needs violence to finish this would be great. But it was all false advertising. This mafia guy is as soft as a flipping kitten. Letting people boss him around.
How did he keep mentioning that they both like violent sexy time, while it NEVER EVEN HAPPEND in the show.
And even if I get over the let down of spicey, the show dragged, the acting was bad, the plot was boring. That cheesy music though haha.
The one and only good thing about this was Ton, I fell head over heels for him and want to see him in SOOO many more BL's. He is perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unforgotten Night? Should change the name to Forgotten Night
Oh my goodness where do I even begin with this mess?!Story- whack. whackty whack whack whack. It's clear the mafia genre is taking off with KP being the starting point but this drama FAILED! when it came to that aspect. It's so cheesy and contrite... I couldn't help but laugh during serious moments.
Cast/ Acting- omfg what a travesty. Yoon and Ton have chemistry, I've seen it in bts/ specials they did together but when it came to their actual roles... TURD. ONE BIG SMELLY POOP! Some one said it might be over direction and that seems to be the case. Also, I'm so use to Yoon playing sml/ cute roles and I guess he wanted to show he has range... this aint it buddy- Love you, but no. Ton, you can also do with a bit more roles before being cast as a lead. #sorrynotsorry
Music- one of the main reasons why I would bust out laughing during a serious scene because of the horrible piano piece that would play during critical moments.
Rewatch- I would have to be drunk and bored out of my mind.
My overall score SHOULD be 3 BUT I decided to be generous and give a 6 because they tried and I really appreciate that.

GUILTY PLEASURE!!!
okay so I finished watching it and all I could think of was Twilight. The lack of foundation for a story, the overacting, and overexpression and the insanely sculpted white beautiful faces screamed Twilight. now don't get me wrong it's kind of a cute story and the couple is also adorable but this definitely is a guilty pleasure type of drama. I definitely recommend watching it at least once though to make your own opinion on it I think you will either really really like it or you'll hate it but can't stop watching it.Was this review helpful to you?
