Unforgotten Night? Should change the name to Forgotten Night
Oh my goodness where do I even begin with this mess?!Story- whack. whackty whack whack whack. It's clear the mafia genre is taking off with KP being the starting point but this drama FAILED! when it came to that aspect. It's so cheesy and contrite... I couldn't help but laugh during serious moments.
Cast/ Acting- omfg what a travesty. Yoon and Ton have chemistry, I've seen it in bts/ specials they did together but when it came to their actual roles... TURD. ONE BIG SMELLY POOP! Some one said it might be over direction and that seems to be the case. Also, I'm so use to Yoon playing sml/ cute roles and I guess he wanted to show he has range... this aint it buddy- Love you, but no. Ton, you can also do with a bit more roles before being cast as a lead. #sorrynotsorry
Music- one of the main reasons why I would bust out laughing during a serious scene because of the horrible piano piece that would play during critical moments.
Rewatch- I would have to be drunk and bored out of my mind.
My overall score SHOULD be 3 BUT I decided to be generous and give a 6 because they tried and I really appreciate that.

GUILTY PLEASURE!!!
okay so I finished watching it and all I could think of was Twilight. The lack of foundation for a story, the overacting, and overexpression and the insanely sculpted white beautiful faces screamed Twilight. now don't get me wrong it's kind of a cute story and the couple is also adorable but this definitely is a guilty pleasure type of drama. I definitely recommend watching it at least once though to make your own opinion on it I think you will either really really like it or you'll hate it but can't stop watching it.Was this review helpful to you?

Unforgotten Night is a disappointing Thai BL drama that fails to deliver on its premise. Despite the attractive leads, the series suffers from lackluster performances, awkward chemistry, and an underwhelming storyline. The BDSM elements are poorly executed and fail to create the desired intensity. The mafia setting is also underdeveloped, falling far short of the engaging portrayals seen in dramas like KinnPorsche.While the series has a few redeeming moments, such as the confrontation scene between Cherry and Kim, these are overshadowed by the overall weaknesses. The supporting characters, particularly Cherry, are underutilized despite their potential. The inclusion of scenes in the trailer that are not in the final product adds to the confusion and disappointment.
Ultimately, Unforgotten Night is a FORGETTABLE experience that fails to leave a lasting impression. While the leads may have future projects worth watching, this series is unlikely to be remembered fondly.

Mesmerizing piece
I have come to realise that most highly rated dramas turn out to be crap, vice versa. I've been struggling to find the next best thing after KinnPorsche, and it turns out its been here all along.I've been skipping it because of bad reviews, almost lost out on this mesmerizing story. Review is after second attempt to watch. My First attempt: 15 minutes through episode one and I was going to add this to my dropped list however, I read other viewer review first, and it convinced me to give it a second try.
This could have been a good one but.....
The director and film editor obviously didn't give their heart to this project. It reflects no care at all and that they did the bare minimum and collected their paycheck. The editing is horrible. Cut scenes were so obvious, and theres instances of camera not being focused or angled right. Theres scenes that were included that didn't make sense. Cheesy lines caused me to fast forward a lot. Awkward scenes are also included. And come on.... a threesome out of nowhere of people who works closely together???? I truly didnt see the necessity to add this to the story. Piano BGM was used too much in this series that it was hard to focus when hearing same BGM for almost every kind of scene. Wardrobe is off in some scenes and seemed like revolved within just 5 sets of outfits (I may have overcounted).
Ton Saran Anantasetthakul needs to take more acting class. Casting could have been done better; hardly any chemistry within the entire production casts.
This can be a construed as a mean review however this is my honest take for this series. I feel regretful because to me it is a good simple story that could have turned good if directed and edited better. As many negative things I noticed, I didn't drop watching it after my second attempt of watching because it has an "it" factor that kept me in my seat after I finished episode 1.
So give it a try, pass episode 1 and see if you wont finish it. I don't think it is enough for rewatch value tho.

Why is it rated so low?
I genuinely do not know why this is rated so low? it's not even that bad at all? I finished the whole thing no problem. in fact I liked it. When I saw the low rating I expected it to be terrible but it does not deserve such a low rating. This is exactly why I go ahead and watch despite low reviews because they always turn out better than what is shown. I will always encourage others even if something is rated low give it a try you might be surprised:) the acting is also way better than many of them I have watched. good chemistry as well.Was this review helpful to you?

I don't know why people giving less ratings to this series. May be people expected too much from it ( like kinnporshche ) but for me it's really good. The story is good unlike other similar University bls . Don't mind the bad reviews too much because people thought this series would be so much sexual but it's average. You can give it a try . Don't give hate to series or cast because every artist work so hard for one series but i think not everyone will like this series so much like me coz it's a particular genre that some people will like and some will not like . I don't know why this show gets so much hate. I absolutely love it and I was hesitant at first to watch another mob BL after finding KinnPorsche underwhelming. I do wish they went with the same ending as the book but I get that that would have been expensive. The actors are adorable and the characters are too.Ton did an AMAZING job as Kim, I don't know if anyone could have done a better job. I really wish more of the love Syndrome books got turned into shows but enjoyed the Day, Itt and Salmon cameo even Itt's love of cake.Was this review helpful to you?

I don't understand why ppl didn't like it, I loved it.. I've had watched KinnPorsche as well and that's why I love this one cuz everything was different.. I love the way Kim, even thou Kamol was a mafia, he accepted him and didn't care about it. I would have love to see more nfc scenes between the couples, but overall it was a good bl, it has romance, action,and betrayals. terribly bad yet compelling viewing!
This has to be the cheesiest mafia romance in all of history, and yet I never once thought of dropping it. In fact, I couldn’t get it into my eyes fast enough to see what trashy plots the show would throw at us next lol.Though smol, Kamol was the most endearing gangster and I would have absolutely fallen under his aura. Plus, he had pet tigers! (I still can’t decide if they were animatronics) Though the show had many cringy characters (I’m looking at you, Danil) I think it was Kim who was my least favorite. I get the push-pull aspect of the plot, but being combative went on for far too many episodes for my tastes. Kamol should have put him in chains much more.
Speaking of. I would have liked the show to expand on the BDSM aspect of the plot.
But you could not have flabbered my gasters more when that random bodyguard threesome was airlifted into the scene out of nowhere. I was cackling like a witch. Nothing surprises me with NCs, but had I been wearing plastic pearls, I would have been clutching them.
If you want an unserious show to waste some hours on, I’d rec this one. Sometimes you need to eat a plate of something bad for you just for the fun of it.
As always, my review is for the plot only and the vibes it gave me - I thoroughly enjoyed the acting from everyone, especially Yoon.

Worth watching
I LOOOVED all the eyecandy we got especially the bodyguard's shower scene(iykyk)(my favorite scene!!??)The only 2 reasons why im giving it a 9 and not a 10 is because it annoyed me how Kim got mad all the time throughout the entire series at Kamol and how he would treat him?.
And i REALLY wish they would have incorporated an actual love story with Khom and Baiboon. Like why even insinuate that there's something brewing between them when nothing literally NOTHING happens?.
Other than that i enjoyed it alot and kept squealing under my blanket at night?

over all very good
I felt they left to much from, the book out. in the book kim had visible marks on him often. I was disappointed to not see the evidence I saw in the books. weather or not we see the "action" seeing the marks more frequently would have been better in my opinion loved the actors they chose for this! very good acting. the scene from the book in the car at the beginning when they went to lunch at the hotel, to much was missing. he (Kim) took another leave from work after that and "escaped" to day and itt's house with visible marks, causing the friends to be considered. dont always need the explicit scenes (thoough to be honest, however, i rather enjoy watching them, and find they develop the love between the characters deeper) i can understand why they are some times limited in the amount of explicitly. all in all I was impressed.Was this review helpful to you?
