I'm not a big suspense/thriller fan, but this was god. I liked the overarching messages about wealth and relationships. Good cast, engrossing story. Kept me hooked. I also liked the ending, which I wasn't sure I would.Was this review helpful to you?

SISTERHOOD, MYSTERY, AND FEMINISM SHINE IN LITTLE WOMEN
This drama reminded me a lot of the hollywood film movie Little Women, especially with its themes of feminism and how women try to stand and strong in a tough world. It has the same focus on sisterhood but told in a darker, more thriller-like way.The three sisters are written with clear differences, and I found myself understanding each of their behaviors and choices. In Joo’s vulnerability and longing for a better life, In Kyung’s stubborn yet idealistic pursuit of justice, and In Hye’s quiet independence all felt distinct but interconnected. Their contrasting personalities and imperfections made the drama more complex, and realistic.
I also really liked the chemistry between In Joo and Do Il. Their connection was subtle but strong, and I appreciated that their relationship was left open ended, it gave a sense of possibility without forcing a conclusion.
The blue orchid subplot was another highlight for me. It added mystery and symbolism that blended well with the overall narrative, making the story more intriguing. On top of that, the cinematography was beautiful and the ost/score/soundtracks are so good that I immediately listened them all after watching.
The story can feel a little messy at times, with multiple twists that sometimes overlap more than they should. But even with that, it is still worth watching for its themes, performances, and artistic execution.
Little Women is not perfect, but it’s a captivating drama that reimagines sisterhood, ambition, and survival in a unique way.

The premise of the story, that these three sisters deal with their entanglement with this sordid business, is set up well. Each of the secondary characters has some role with the Jeongran Society, and the writing kept me interested in guessing who is doing exactly what (i.e., who is the Big Villain). But the two main characters, In Joo and In Kyung, are frustrating to watch. In Joo has gotten herself into an obviously perilous situation, which she apparently doesn't bother to discuss with her sisters, even though (among other things) she may be putting her family in danger. In Kyung is similarly reckless, possibly getting a couple of people killed. They both are completely clueless at times.
My wife and I got so frustrated that we nearly quit midway through. The writing does tighten up, and some of the glaring holes -- for example, why didn't this dangerous and powerful organization just kill these hapless sisters? -- do get some answers. And it feels oddly satisfying when a couple of friendly characters use In Joo's naivete to their advantage. Basically, the story recognizes the limits of its characters, and those limitations are not glorified.
I did come away with some questions with this show. Holy cow, is Korean law enforcement really this useless? Are Koreans really that concerned about the financial backgrounds of their co-workers? Where do all these dozens of corporate goons come from, and would they really keep gooning when it is obvious the corporation is falling apart? Just felt off here.
The show does have a few elements -- the recurring scenes with the blue orchids, the flashbacks for Korean soldiers in the Vietnam War (which got this show banned in Vietnam), In Joo's bizarre experience in Singapore -- that give a show a distinctive feel. So it's an interesting series, and a good watch, but the two leading characters are a bit too dim to make it a great show.

This was really very good. I like it, But I am very sorry that there was not any lovestory between In Joo and Do Il. Them was have amazing chemie. When he was on the airport, I was hope that there will be kiss, but no... It is very pitty. But story was really good, mysterious, dangerous, really very good. Was this review helpful to you?
The cast is expensive
Only 2 ep are left. EP 9 and 10 was Roller coster. If your thriller movie fan u can watch it. Wath it drama without spoiler is very good idea.You Won't regret after watching it. The story of three sister is so good. First sister want money for living,second one wants dignity and third one is strict about her dream. Tbh,I Don't like the third sister,she is kinda disturbing, I thought there will be character development of sister three, But It doesn’t. And last ep 2 can't bring any character development. Okay, now It's about sister two, she is kinda messy but she is kind towards her 2 sister not like the third one. And she has dream of becoming a great Reporter though there is lot of hardship for her, bcz she is poor.THIS poverty problem same goes to 1 st sister, she is really a nice and her mind is clear. But in her office nobody likes her.Although there parents dont live with them. They always have problem.And what will happen when 1st sister find 70 billion won and 2nd one stand up against a Mayor candidate by writing article and 3 rd one becomes frnd with that mayor's daughter, and Mayor 's wife financially help 3rd sister. Worth watching!
I was a little hesitant to start the show, but one I did I literally had to binge watch the whole show. Loved that the show was intriguing and unpredictable, always wondering what was going to happen next. Story is very much mystery based and the story line was very refreshing. Another thing is that it is not focused on romance, which other shows similar to Little Women is, so if you like seeing romance between main characters this is probably not the show for you. Overall, highly recommend watching the show if you are a sucker for mysteries and love nerve wrecking stories.Was this review helpful to you?
To Suspenseful For Me
I was hoping this drama be more of the classic Little Women but it was very different. I don't usually like suspenseful thriller but I stay and watch this one. The characters are very interesting and the Three Sisters are very different and do care for each other. The suspense hits you right from the star and keep it going to the end. The twist and turns and the thrills keeps you jumping and your heart can race to a quick beating. In between all that there is a cute romance for each of the older sisters. I love the female cast in this drama especially that even the evilest person is a women. The actors performance was great and the story was good. But to scary for me.Was this review helpful to you?
An interesting if marginally frustrating show. Let down by parts of the last few episodes

1. Looking for some unusual plot , and dont mind dialogue heavy drama
The drama has some incredible dialogue that feels like direct shots fired at society we are in today. The show felt less about a plot , and more about the journey each of the characters undergoes . The ways in which various situations change them for better/worse , the complexities of reltionships and imperfect family dynamics .
In different ways , each of the Oh siblings move from being in the sidelines to learning to own the space they occupy.
Given the unusual plot base , i actually enjoyed the blunders and struggles of the leads . The chaos felt very similar to have ordinary ,everyday people would react when faced with extraordinary/bizzare events.
The osts werent particularly memorable , then again it requires most of your focus to be able to follow the plot , so ill have to give them a zeperate listen.
Costumes and set design were actually really well done in setting the tone for the scenes we were dealing in. Actors did a decent job, and had you immersed in the story, which is q win for me.
Real gold goes to the writers who wrote some heart hurting zingers with the dialogue.

An American Classic with a Korean twist
Maybe the thought of reading a story about three sisters living in poverty bored me. I never bothered reading the novel. To be completely honest, I never even knew the the basic plot of the novel. I just thought it would be about women, like the title suggested.When the news came out that there would be a Korean remake, it didn’t interest me. I just thought it would be another boring kdrama.
Then I saw the casting, i was taken aback. "such great actors" I thought. But that wasn't enough to get me started on this show. Then I tried reading the reviews here on Mdl and most of them were positive, saying it was a 10/10. So I decided to give this a try.
And I loved it....Its one of my favourite shows now. The plot, the casting, all the crazy plot twists that I never expected. Thanks to this show I've discovered that I love thrillers and even tho I haven't finished it yet (if the ending is bad I'll come back and edit this review) but I have great expectations for this show. Its just so so so so good.
If you haven't tried it yet, please do.

Very simple review cause i don't have time to write a longer one
My friend asked me for a kdrama recommendation, and the first one that popped into my mind was little women, and that reminded me that i didn’t watch the last two episodes, so i watched them and i’m glad i did. I remember being confused and losing patience as a lot of things that happened didn’t have answers yet, and everything was tragic not a single good thing happened, that’s why i felt discouraged and stopped watching it, but it seems like the last two eps had all the answers. I loved the action and the new story, the acting is amazing and the way everything happened in a steady pace is good, they didn’t leave a single thing unanswered thank god, i wouldn’t rewatch it though, one time is enough.Overall 9/10

4. sets are nice and oh in joo oh in kyung oh in hye were super they portrayed their roles perfectly
