My Uncanny Destiny

Both series are incredibly funny with a wonderful pairing of FL/ML. Both have great supporting casts.
My Uncanny Destiny is a very silly slapstick of a comedy.
Les Belles has a lot of great comedic moments and doesn't take itself too seriously but no slapstick.
In My Uncanny Destiny the FL has excellent comedic chops. She has a snarl/wink/click she does all the time that just cracks me up.
In Les Belles the FL is very funny but more subtly. She does have incredible dimples!
In My Uncanny Destiny the ML is Yan Zi Xian my favorite short drama sexy kissing star. He is so darn funny in this too as the hot and clueless male lead! The ML and FL together are chaotic.
In Les Belle the ML is more of the heroic type but still sort of clueless when it comes to the FL. And the 2 of them together are also chaotic and funny.
In My Uncanny Destiny the cast of characters are all over-the-top weird and funny too. This is definitely NOT a serious drama in any way. Angst free! There are lots of breaking the 4th wall bits and a few times you can tell that the actors broke character and just started laughing for real. It looks like they probably had a ton of fun making this series!
Les Belles has a great cast of characters including 2 other couples that have a great chemistry.
Both series don't take each other seriously, which makes them tons of tun!

Watch this drama instead if you find The Substitute Princess' Love is boring.

I find the series more entertaining and the FL a better actress.

- Both FLs are high ranking individuals (in MUD FL is a ruler while in OMG she's a general)
- Actually funny comedy and quite a lot of it

- Loving ML who supports FL through anything
- Lead couple have a rocky start but end up being a perfectly matched power couple
- Gender role reversal (in MUD it's more subtle than in OMG)
- Sisterhood
- Both FLs have a woman who's in love with her male persona

Oh My General balances comedy with its more serious tone while My Uncanny Destiny is mostly a comedy with some serious moments.

has the same plot, with the fl pretending to be a guy and accidentally ending up on the enemy's side and where she has to hide that she's who the ml's have been looking for this whole time. my uncanny destiny though is a bit unserious at first but you'll love it i promise

- ML is infatuated with FL,
- FL and ML are both royalties from different empires,
- great historical romcoms

The actors who play the couples both have similarly great chemistry.
FL in both dramas are both capable and independent.
ML in both dramas are persons of authority who finds themselves exasperated by FL antics.
