I spotted the narcissistic personality of the MML on ep 9. I am not speaking about him being a jerk or an abusive boss, I really talk about something deeply unhealthy about this character's personality. when this occurs in real life the person never changes. actually, it even tends to worsen in time. so if the FML have to live her whole life with that kind of person, she definitely will be unhappy. 

he knows that she is going to die soon and instead of helping her achieving her goals in life faster, he wants her to abandon what is left from her life because he is afraid to stay alone. this is the jerkyest move to take. it's not romantic at all! it's controlling and sad, actually.
