Fun until the last few episodes

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much more than a fluffy romcom. I hoped the pace would be snappy because it's shorter than the 20/24 eps I'm used to, but still more substantial than 10-min webdrama eps. But it felt like it lazed around for the first 11 episodes, and then was like "oh ****, we forgot to include the story." And there wasn't much "rom" OR "com". So what happened?

Acting: This was the best part of the show for me. Chani, Kang Minah and the supporting cast did great. I thought this was actually Hwiyoung's first time because he acted like a newbie to me. Considering his experience, he underperformed imo. He portrayed happiness and kindness well, but other emotions were a bit stiff. But even so, it wasn't bad enough to break immersion in his scenes.

Story: There was a lot of potential here. I'm always interested in the production of idols/music and Sorin (Kang Minah) had an interesting character arc set up. But none of it developed well. They don't spend any time on her decision to give up the idol dream until the end, when suddenly it was relevant again. Give her those complex emotions! It's natural for her to be conflicted about Shiwoo succeeding where she failed. Don't just throw that away with one line at the end.
The best part of the drama was Luice (Chani) for me. He had the important factors of making an unlikeable character watchable: 1)the other characters don't like him either; 2)he grows more sympathetic by the end; 3)he's unknowingly funny, like making a fool of himself without realizing it. He was the only comic relief- most of the drama was not funny to me. But I enjoyed Luice a lot.
The last three episodes were rushed and strangely dark. Some serious stuff goes down, but then they have to do another 180 tone shift for episode 14's happy ending. Considering the severity of what happened, some characters do not deserve second chances just because they feel bad (cough cough, Jooah and Dowoon). The plot left no room for their redemption arc, so it's weird everyone just forgives them and moves on.

But even though it was rushed, I could've rated this a 7.5 if not for the romance's "conclusion". As in, there was none! Maybe it's meant to be sequel bait or something, but the least they could do was get Luice and Sorin together. He doesn't confess to her and she doesn't seem particularly interested in him OR Shiwoo. What's the point? For me, I don't care about a kiss scene or whatever... it's the payoff after seeing them grow closer and care about each other! What's with this lukewarm final scene of the three of them singing together? There's no emotional payoff. Way to end it on a low note (pun intended).

I had high expectations but I was disappointed.

from episode 12 i started to see some action happen, when in fact the best point should start in the middle of the drama. There are things that haven't been resolved. Romance? not. Boring and frustrating drama.
I feel like a beggar expecting something from the protagonists.
they could be something more. I confess that the love triangle caught my attention but there was nothing. so don't watch it if you expect any kind of romantic action between the protagonists. The story starts slowly and then speeds up with 3 episodes to go. what the hell?

when you least expect it...... this one is a worthy watch

I came into this show only because of the SF9 guys ..... i wanted to see how they stack up against 'big bro" Rowwon.... I have to say chani and Hwiyoung did commendable jobs holding down their roles ..... hopefully its they will get more mainstream roles other than leasse known web series unlike Rowoon

for me its the kid in the playground giviing his honest opinion to Luice about his music was the highlight of the show plus the female protagonist dad visiting Chani in the hospital with that "thank you " for protecting my girl gesture that did it for me

Music plus the all the idol actors all over was nice distraction.

LOVED IT, GOOD IN BETWEEN DRAMA.

I liked the drama, it wasnt AMAZING but it was good. I liked how So rin stayed so positive over the years, i liked that Luice matured, that was really refreshing to see. Alsooo the way they performed with her warmed my heart, also the fact Luice and Si woo got such a strong bond.. was cute. She didn't choose anyone though and that was quite a shock, im glad none of them got their heart broken badly and they all stayed good good friends, it was so cute when they all waited on So rins results and jumped and screamed together because she got to perform. Also one thing that PISSED me off is that CEO masha forgave whatshername, that fan could've burned So rin's face, and could've brought damage that could not have been undone. Still, i liked this show a lot, i watched it inbetween the main drama's im watching right now and it was great.

Give it a shot

This Kdrama is truly underrated. Cliché, love triangle, may be the reason why a lot of people will overlook this drama, but I'll tell you this that's not the issue. Min-ah is probably the reason why I'm watching this, but I'm truly surprised how good Chani's acting is. OST is simply amazing and a gem. While you'll have a good laugh watching this drama, it has a more serious/deeper message behind it than what people think. The life of idols and how difficult their lives can be. Overall good Kdrama but slow paced, should be better because all of the episodes are uploaded.

Miracle ... a miracle of wasted chances

Luice, Lee So Rin and Min Shi Woo form a Love triangle ... which ends in the Nowhereland. Luice was smitten, but did nothing to get into a relation with Lee So Rin. While Min Shi Woo´s "position as the besti from schooldays is in love with Lee So Rin, but too afraid to confess out of anxioness to lose the friendship they have ... Understandable. Dut even he made no advances only childish or boyish testosterone games with Luice. This storyline could have been worth the 14 episodes. But there was no development, despite being hinted with "slaps".

When the cooperation between Luice and Min Shi Woo started, another storyline could work for 14 episodes ... it was handled like a nuisance sidestory. The cooperation caused too envy with Do Woon of N&S, the idol group Min Shi Woo is part of. But that storyline was touched and left in ? what really happend. The accid attack on Lee So Rin which got Luice injured. came quite out of the blue not really reasoned.
And Do Woon, the actor Moon Ji Yong can do fae better, made as for the storyline anattempt of jealousie but it stayed as attempt when talking with the injured girl idol ro be.

Luice´s managers created a tax scandal and left him with nothing. This storyline could be okay for 14 episodes too ... but it was dealt like something on the sideline like orddering water for a meal.

The problems within N&S could have been better written and staged ... but the end ? Like the acid attack out of envy went into smoke and All is Good ending.
The friction within the group could have been worth for more and a general look into the idol/K Pop industry. But nothing. This storyline could do for an own show of 14 episodes. Despite the shown pressure and physical stress for the idols and trainees. And how they can become broken personalities. But such is not easy to "wash away" and the offered solution is just a joke. As the storyline.

And with all the Good ending the love triangle ended open and unsolved/undealt with on a stage ... but in nowhereland.

Given the shitt storyline the direkting was okay and the actors played their roles in the given frames like templates, but good enough that it wasn´t too obvious.

Rewatch value? If you have to kill time and nothing better to do.

Even days after watching and writing the review srill I am searching the miracle the show was named after ... evtl. I have overlooked it and someone else may have seen it ... ? ...

A real gem

A real gem

I love when Chani plays lighthearted roles where he gets to show his talent as a comedic actor. His timing is perfect, he’s so attractive, charming, sexy, confident and natural, he enjoys the hell out of this part.

‘Miracle’ is a rare example of a show where you can root not only for the two main leads, but for anyone because the chemistry of the whole cast is phenomenal. Sorin’s parents are wonderful and the bond they form with Luice is one of my favorite things about the show.

Chani and Hwiyoung are hilarious, their real life friendship translates to the screen so well, and their scenes are the funniest because they’re so comfortable with each other. You want Luice and Siwoo to end up together, they are extremely entertaining. The show is full of SF9 references, fans of the group and Chani and Hwiyoung will have great time watching it.

Kang Min-ah and Chani share the sweetest and most memorable moments together (the first meeting, the suit scene, the fanfic etc,.). Their emotional connection feels so real and powerful, their playfulness, the small details, the line delivery and the facial expressions make simplest scene look special. They are one of the best on-screen couples I’ve ever seen.

Although the lead male character is an idol, 'Miracle' is very different from other shows about idols. It's a slapstick comedy, a clever satire, with a big chunk of irony and self-irony. It makes fun of the k-pop clichés, but it also has its serious dramatic moments and shows that idol life is not easy and actually very sad. You have to sacrifice a lot to work in this industry. It's a high quality production with beautiful cinematography and set design, I really like the cute episode title cards that pop up here and there. The soundtrack includes two solo songs by Chani ('Shining Star' and 'Forever Love') and 'Milky Way' that Kang Min-ah, Chani and Hwiyoung sing together. Plus, there's Chani's solo version of ''詩; 00:00'' by SF9 that he sings on stage at one point.

It's a 14-episodes show, there are no filler scenes, it's not overlong, the pacing is good, everything is well-written and well-connected. The characters are multidimensional, we see how their relationship grow and develop into something much bigger and more important than a love triangle. And you can be romantic in so many different ways. One scene in the laundromat between Luice and Sorin speaks louder than ten kisses.

I love the ending so much, it makes sense, and the lyrics of the song ''Milky Way''that we hear at the end summarise everything perfectly. It's so rare to see this kind of an ending. And I think it's super romantic.

I couldn’t figure out why the low ratings

I couldn’t figure out why the low ratings when I started watching this because the show is cute, the music is obviously going to be great - and is - with two SF9 members as the male leads. I held this opinion until the last five minutes of the show when I realized that either this show was cut short for some bizarre reason or something odd was going on. Why? Because the main focus of the show is not resolved. We are given no closure on how things turn out for the female lead on her newly reestablished path nor which of the two male leads she chose.
If you want to see a show with wonderful music, a cute storyline that may or may not have a second season, this is a good one. But if you want to see one that ties all the ends up at the end of the show, this isn’t it.

HAD NOTHING INTERESTING FOR ME!

This drama literally did nothing for me, it was so boring and slow paced that I couldn’t even watch more then 5 episodes. The storyline had potentials at first, the whole accident thing etc but even that couldn’t keep me interested, I really struggled to finish episode 5, so I decided to drop it after all. For me it was a waste of time, at least I didn’t try to finish it. I read it had a bad ending without closing too.

I think the main problem in this drama is the characters. The storyline like I said had something, but all of the characters were either super boring or super annoying, I didn’t liked anyone and as a person that values characters sometimes more then a plot itself, it’s not surprising that I dropped this drama. I actually had more expectations for this, sadly this drama didn’t work for me at all.

There aren’t a lot of thing to say about it, just that I really didn’t like it.
