i have some spoilers
okay so i did like itspoilerssss
though the ending was not really good.....like yk the guy just dies at the end because he didn't want to drink choi's blood for the fear of hurting him...but mannnn Choi coul have used something to make a tiny cut on his finger then he could have offered his blood to junho this way junho wouldn't actually harm him right...but no Choi didn't do that i mean if it were me i would have at least tried something....but still I didn't like the ending but it's not like it was not suitable...I'm giving this a 9 but not because of the ending but because I think that everything was a little fast paced....like it it was not so fast paced i definitely would've given it a 10..

Watch only if you are die hard fan of vampires
Will contain slight spoilers.Never had I expected a vampire series to be so full of...light. Like literally. The amount of dreamy light this series have idk how it the vampires are even immune to it.
There are plot holes, enough for you to trip and fall.
The storyline is just a cutesy BL series with a vampire trope. I skipped to episode 8 straight from episode 4.
The acting is sweet, they did their best.
The story had potential. The script needed to be a bit more tight and strong.

Good chem, mid story
The two leads are charming and have good chemistry, as I've also seen them with the same level of chemistry in "Roommates of Poongduck 304". The story is very expected, cliche however the series isn't very long so I'd say it's still an enjoyable watch purely off of the actors performances. If you want a better BL with the same level of acting but a more fleshed out storyline I'd definitely say watch Roomates of Poongduck, however Kissable lips is still a nice bite size drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Give it a second watch, it's better
Long story short, watching it the first time I was confused and I didn't like it. However, watching it again (over 2 years later), the show is actually quite entertaining. When you watch it the second time after knowing the story, it's more pleasant to watch. The acting is good and there are more emotions. Watch it a second time and you might like it more! Was this review helpful to you?
why
I was so excited about this drama and now I wish I’d checked the reviews first. why did he just drink the blood, I feel like my heart and been ripped out of my chest and just stomped on. WTF ugh, the story was great but I want to know what the hell was the writer of this drama thinking. I been bawling my eyes for almost 30 minutes now and feel like I need to cry even more. I had high hopes and was so happy, and then bam sadness and heart break. I’m to emotion for this mess, I really do love it, but I can’t handle the heartbreak. Was this review helpful to you?
A VERY "SAD" STORY
The main leads are the same with Roommates at Poongduck 304. I watched this because Roommates at Poongduck 304 is one of my favorite BL dramas. I have low expectations because this is their first series as main leads together. But after watching this, it seems that they really have the chemistry since the beginning. Although their acting in the early episodes is quite dissatisfactory, they got better and better until the end.A very sad story??? Why?? It is because the story is rushed.

if you don’t like sad endings don’t watch
The show was so good until it came to the ending. I really wasn’t expecting a sad ending. After he died I was hoping he would come back because they even had leeway of him being a vampire. Up until the ending it was good. The ending really affected my rating I would have rated it better if it didn’t end the way it did. Wish they made a season 2 where it showed he wasn’t dead. The actors also deserve another series together they were very cute. The acting was very good it’s really sad that I had to rate it so low because of the ending. Was this review helpful to you?
The actors did their best.
The pacing was terrible, I was lost so many times that I had to go back and re-watch a few episodes cause it always felt like I missed something?
This felt like one of those "plot what plot" fics but with nothing intriguing to keep you hooked. What remained of the plot was all over the place (I don't know who decided on them blue eyes cause yikes.)
The threw in characters I was supposed to pity but without enough background to pull at any emotions.
The actors though, they gave it their all. You could see they really tried their best to deliver.
Overall, so much potential, zero on execution.

Just bad filmmaking
I wanted to like it. The premise is interesting enough, it's a BL with vampires, and it has decent photography. Unfortunately, the absolute lack of pacing, setup, or cohesive story dooms it to failure. It's a BL, but it almost wholesale skips the "falling in love" part. You get a few seconds of filming an awkward school project, a few seconds playing basketball, and now they are star-crossed lovers. What?? How did that happen? The editing is sloppy and plot devices are established and then seemingly abandoned out of forgetfulness. For example, a big point is made about the ultra-protective older brother who monitors his sibling's every move after past tragedy. But right after he actually catches his brother seemingly moments from being killed by a vampire (his greatest fear), he gives up on all that protectiveness after the slightest bit of protest and we essentially never see the character again. Uhh? Completely implausible. Why even include this in the plot if it wasn't going anywhere?
We see the President character several times, but she has essentially no impact on the plot at any time, except for calling up other vamp. We see her harvesting blood from herself, but it's never shown being used. Why was she even in this show? It feels like a few crucial scenes with her were omitted.
It's a small thing, but I don't understand the "hideout" room... it seems like a bedroom, it has personal possessions, it's private, they sleep together in there, but it's also seemingly open to the public and people can just barge in whenever.
Also, why is a vampire spending decades enrolled at a university posing as a student? I can suspend a lot of disbelief, but surely after his 20th year or so as a freshman, somebody would notice that he hasn't graduated (or aged)? And he really sits through film history 101 every day for decades on end just in the hopes he can get an occasional bit of student blood? He must be the world's preeminent expert on Mappelthorpe by now.
TL;DR: It's a sloppy show that lacks soul or exposition where stuff just happens for no reason and not much makes any sense. I kept rewinding thinking my brain or the stream stuttered as it lurched from scene to scene without any connection, but it's just bad filmmaking.

I liked it!
It was a nice drama, beautiful visuals and music.I liked the story, but i would have liked to see more about how they fell in love. That felt too rushed and short.
And i also would have liked to see more about the story of Jun Ho / Kwon Hae Soo and Jun Ho / Do Hyun.
The actors did a great job and there was great chemistry between the leads.
I may watch this again in the future.

A vampire who can’t love a human being....
I felt that Kissable was an amazing drama with only it being 8 eps and with a duration of mainly 10 minutes because it was all told out. I seriously love both Seo Bins and Jiwoongs chemistry I think their a match made in heaven because even in 10 minutes they can show how they have so much chemistry. I do like the concept of vampires in BL dramas because it not very common at all I think this is the only actual vampire show that’s out and it was portrayed well. I do feel the story was kind of rushed because it started with Min Hyun tripping in the first episode and he started bleeding which made Jun Ho’s eyes turn blue because he’s a pure blood human. So Jun Ho got close to Min Hyun so he can drink his blood, but coming without thinking he will fall in love with Min Hyun but he did end up falling in love with him to the point that he would rather sacrifice his life than to kill Min Hyun by sucking his blood which I find as it’s like true love right there. I started bawling at the last episode because Jun Ho got to the point were he’s dying and his vision is so blurry that he can’t really see Min Hyun anymore and he was gonna give him his ring, but dropped it and couldn’t find it so he left the room with Min Hyun sleeping because he didn’t want him to see him disappear, but he still did and sadly died in his arms. I literally started crying when Min Hyun bursted out crying because he seemed so sad and depressed after that even when he went back to the room Jun Ho stayed in that was cleaned he was sad since all his memories with him are becoming faint, since he doesn’t have any photographs of his memories with him. To the point a year later he is still thinking about him, which is so sad because Jun Ho won’t come back. I really recommend Kissable Lips even though the ending is sad the show overall is pretty good. Was this review helpful to you?
