Short, Slightly No-BS Web Drama
The plot is about students going through puberty and the desires and intense emotions they go through in this stage of their lives (high school). There are three main stories for this: (1) A guy having a masturbation addiction; (2) Two childhood friends & neighbors who know nothing about sex and relationships with the female lead being a conservative and; (3) A chubby female lead battling discrimination from her family, school teachers & batch mates all the while having her go through wanting to experience romantic love & dating despite all the discrimination she goes through.I think the best story among the three is the 2nd one, cliched but it was executed the best among all. I have issues with the 1st and 3rd one because they have not really addressed the issue as much as I expected. With the 1st story, they focused too much on the addiction but it still somehow tells viewers that "This is taboo; this is TOTALLY NOT OK," when it is a natural part of life. What I admire about this first story though, is the no-BS. They went straight for it. Talking about these things are AGE APPROPRIATE already for high schoolers. For the 3rd one, I am most mad about the fact that it still shows the grown-ups excuse it. It isn't ok, the chubby girl does not always have to pay the price. She is the victim; there should still be an ending where she wins, not where she still has to "tolerate & accept" things to be that way. I hope they explore this better and someone breaks the mold someday.

GIVE A WHOLE SHOW TO THE SECOND COUPLE ASAP
I started this after I watch a video in TikTok with Yu Ra and Nam Ho, aka the second couple, and i loved their episodes.I didnt know that they were three seperate storylines so when i watched the first two episodes i was confused, i thought i started a different drama, but quickly i release that the next story was about the couple i started the drama in the first place.
First couple wasnt really interesting to me. The whole masturbate storyline wasnt my thing and the fact that everything happened so fast didnt help it either, the characters werent anything special and i didnt like their chemistry either, if i had started this drama blind, i would have deffinatly drop it, but gladly i knew for the second couple. I gave 5.5 to the first couple, the storyline probably deserved less.
Now lets go to the second couple and the NVP of this show. I believe they deserve their own drama and i am glad they got 3 episodes and not 2 like the others. Their chemistry was out of this place and i developed a huge crush for Nam Ho. They treated this storyline excellent and i would love to see more of them (i need the actors in another show together). I dont have much to say just watch this drama for them (if you dont want to waste your time just watch episodes 3,4 and 5 aka their story) I gave them a 9.5 just because they really needed to have better communication (friends to lovers and fake romance trope, you dont need to know anything else WATCH THEIR STORY ASAP).
The third storyline was kinda suprising. After the second couple the bar when really high, so i had little expectations for the third couple and i was right. It wasnt a bad story, but some things were just not right, the whole J thing and the way they treated the girl because she had more weight and i am not talking about the characters, i understand that the plotline was about her being insulted about her weight at times, i dont like that they writers didnt treat her equally to the rest of the main girls (if you watch this you will understand what i mean) It wasnt a bad story and i kinda liked the ending (she loved herself first) but i cant say i really liked it. I gave this a 7, the storyline was decent.
Even tho i only enjoyed the second couple i have to say that it was a raw drama, it talk about things that most dramas dont even mention and the way they portrait love without a filter was really cool, the kisses were so damn good and they didnt try to hide the truth like most dramas do, they talked about sex etc openly. I really like that i watched a drama that didnt hide the truth and the main characters were high schoolers too.
Not a bad drama, but the was second couple made it worth watching.

Good as Hell!
I recently watched this drama and I suggest you give it a try.Idk I see many comments and reviews saying they liked the second story, but for me first 2 episodes were epic ✨
Their acting was so so good...and the story was awesome.
About the second story ep 3-5 I liked it, but it wasn't my type.🙃
I have read stories like this, so it was pretty boring for me (a type of cliche)
I got a little bored so I skipped a lot of parts in ep 4 and 5.
And finally, I got bored so I dropped the drama.
I somehow tried to watch the third story...but I couldn't 🙂

I'll admit I cheated and watched only episodes 3-5!
The subject matter for the first story - just no. The ending of the third story - nope. So, the second story it is.The chemistry between the ML and the FL was fire seriously! I'm really liking Ryeoun as an actor. I would have liked for the second story to be longer, maybe eight episodes, so we could get more of a back story for both of them. There was the typical teenage drama, but I enjoyed watching them together. I, personally, like the friends to lovers trope, and this would have benefitted from more episodes as well.
I'm hoping that these two actors work together again in the future.

10 for the second story, 1 for the other two
I, like many, started this cuz of a reel, but I was disappointed tho I see this is “episodic” so I guess ep3 onwards would be the one I saw the edit from“You’re different from others” vs fl didn’t “show her true feelings of obsessing over him like others, cuz she was super self conscious and hated herself
Tho they did end it ok but still
I also thought this was about idol trainees who were trying to debut after passing the 12/22 age limit
S3
Honestly her friend is worse than the bullies, and why would someone care what others eat, style, do their hair, or anything they do for themselves to themselves
the admirer is also a bit of a creep, your hips are a masterpiece sounds so pervy
Tho I also don’t like her obsession with the guy idol, I feel like a love triangle or even assumed triangle would’ve been better if she didn’t like either
S2
That was super cute ~ short but with their plot details, it couldn’t go any longer
The story was kinda like 10 things I hate about you , and the fl was charming, honestly even her face looking naturally was so refreshing but it’s sad she doesn’t seem to get any other roles
Tbh I related to her personality, usually I “connect” with the male characters more, cuz they’re calm while the fls are overly, cutesy, tho I have compared myself to fl from avengers social club, I think this fl is like the second mix
She was “cool” ie hid her feelings often to act nonchalant and not burden others, but in reality she over analyzed everything, too much and obsessively xD and she was clueless, acted tough and her ending confession of “I’m this and that”, it’s like me and my over knowing myself
Anyway for my cutey ml, he’s going high in my ml lists, eventho he was a kid, I adored his smiles and his genuine heart, his “youth” was highlighted in the way he didn’t express himself and he hid too much of his feelings, but he seemed to grow well, way more than “adult” mls in most romcoms xD
This was also better than the summer I turned pretty in the sense of “known each other their whole life” bit
I do wish it was longer, for more times together when they both opened up T_T kdramas are always about the chase and never about the process T_T
S1
Good riddance for the first story

Entertaining
After finishing twinkling watermelon, I started this K drama, because of Ryeoun. Especially after seeing so many TikTok‘s of him in this K drama (edits), I became super curious, because this K drama was in the erotica category on the website, or I mean the app that I was watching it in, it was listed in the erotica section and once I saw his name in there I became super curious and I knew I just had to watch it. (also bc ??? why is it in the erotica section LMAOO)Since this K drama isn’t that popular I didn’t really know what to expect and especially because the first episodes were not about him,,, and his character wasn’t introduced until later in the episodes so the first few episodes were a little bit boring to me. I know that the actress in the first few episodes is in a kpop group (gidle?) and I was like oh that’s interesting but it just wasn’t really as interesting as i thought it would be.
so the first few episodes were boring me and I was like oh what if the TikToks that I saw were like just taking out of the few moments of the show and this is actually pretty boring ???…but I kept watching and that’s when it came to his character and oh my god, it’s literally one of the best tropes ever like!!! childhood best friends to boy next door girl next door to lovers AND fake dating trope let’s not forget about that!!
Ryeouns chemistry with the actress was exceptional and I continued watching it just for those two. I honestly wished that there were more episodes with those two in there because once their story ended and it went to the last story, I was pretty bored throughout the rest of the show.
The last story was about a teenage girl. Basically the same premise as the other two stories, but this time it is about a girl who is a little bit of a bigger person and we all know what happens in K dramas when you’re not skinny,,, obviously she gets bullied, and thats sort of the main plot in the story.
I honestly did not like the character, I really dislike how when Korea makes a plus sized character they make them super annoying and just all about their weight. They have no other plot except for being insecure about their weight and it was really annoying throughout the show. I understand there was a reason for it and I guess they’re talking about how you should love yourself no matter what and what not but the whole time they made the character seem so naive and so annoying and she had zero personality, except for wishing that she was skinnier and that the popular boys like her, but what I like at the end a lot was that they didn’t make this into a romantic story and they made her and the guy end up in a platonic relationship and I really like that because not everything has to be romantic, and I’m really happy that at the end they end up being good friends, and I really liked how she changed at the end as well. I would say in the last few episodes she did make a big development but it was still super boring, and I think it’s only worth watching this show for the other two aka Ryeouns ship.
also what I didn’t get is what ended up happening with that bully like did she just continue bullying her like what happened there? I think the show ended super abruptly especially her story !!and I don’t know if there’s going to be a season two because this show could very easily have a season two, because it kind of reminded me of sex education and because they talk about different stories, they could definitely make a season two and I would be up for watching it because it wasn’t a bad plot like it’s not a bad k drama it’s just that certain stories were pretty boring.
Overall pretty entertaining

So refreshing
I was so skeptical about watching another teen drama with mean girls, tiny skirts and rich hunks. It's tiring that there are infinite number of those. However this turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. Candid, cute, refreshing.
Story one and three especially are so refreshing. Feels good to know that there are smart sensible teenagers even in the cruel world of selfish high schoolers.
And of course story two - what a heart throb that kid Rowoon or however he spells his name- is. The FL is also not bad in that story. Very cute first love story.
Clean production, great music, smartly made - very sharp and appealing drama.

Different with a twist of Funny
Okay so honestly i stumbled across by an edit on Youtube which showed the second couple and thought okay this is interesting.Firstly I must say that this is the first Korean drama that I have come across that's really short and literally only 30 minutes long in each episode.
So the first two episode are to do with the high school that has addiction to porn and masturbating's which i am sure every man nightmare at around that age, anyway he likes a girl who thinks that is disgusting, (clearly she has never done it herself or gets wet) and he joins a group that helps stops the habit, things go his way and he makes it through 100 days and gets the girl in the end.
The second couple is for me the best, not only was the ML really good looking and you knew how to carry himself well, but here you got the conservative girl who is a little mad that her bestie and her ex have hooked up and she is bothered by this as this was her first love, first for me my bestie hooking up with an is definitely no friend of mine, and also I did not really like the way the friend always seemed to be wanting to hang with her and sort of throwing in her face that she got the man. Anyway she comes up with a crazy idea to have a fake boyfriend and boy next door is only too happy to help out, I did love the scene of him doing pull up and she gets to peak through the window (lol) this couple was really good and funny compared to the first one.
The other couples well there is not much there to say, there stories are pretty the same I really didn’t like how the plot surrounded the girl’s weight, additionally I couldn’t enjoy the 3rd couple to the fullest.
Overall ‘ Adult Trainee’ was the epitome of a “ binge-watch” drama to watch when you have nothing else to do; not unwatchable and certainly entertaining within its different plots, setups and heartwarming messages , but admittedly lacking in more subtle character growth, plot buildup and diverse as well as more relatable and realistic issues for teens.

Nice to pass the time but forgettable
Hmm... Well again I'm not the target audience so... Here's my 2 cents:Story 1: Honestly the weakest story of the lot. Maybe young male teenagers can relate but an almost 40 year-old woman I find the whole thing barely watchable. That would be a 3.5 from me.
Story 2: Cute romance but pretty flat. Acting from FL and ML was pretty good. I had already seen Ryeo Un in previous projets before that one and was pretty surprised when he got cast on such a "small drama". Nothing new though. I think this story will probably appeal to female teenagers and early 20 something but it failed to resonate with me... Probably because there's no nostalgic feel or whatever. Still average cute. Not bad, but not extraordinary either. So Okayish... 7
Story 3: Strangely unlike most comments, I found that story much more engaging. Probably because at the core, it's more about a slightly overweight girl who has to learn self-love before seeking to be loved from an outsider and seek validation from it... Something that lots of people fail to do even way after their teenage years.
This being said, from the very first minute you could tell this is not really a fat girl. Sure, she's got weight... But you don't have legs like that unless you're a fairly active girl. This girl has very strong and firm muscles under that layer of fat, this is the body of a sporty girl who just happens to be overweight. On the other side, her "nemesis" is just skinny with no muscle mass. I've drawn a fair share of naked bodies so I could immediately tell, than there is that dance in the last episode which confirmed what I thought.
Asia has an obsession about skinny bodies but skinny doesn't necessarily equals "healthy". And while having too much fat is obviously unhealthy... in the case of this girl, she doesn't belong in the unhealthy category... although she'd probably better lose a few pounds just for her joints. Your body won't mind the extra fat when you're young, sporty and active.... but past your prime, your joints are going to give you hell.
Anyway, I met the same type of b*** in middle and high school but from shared experience with lots of people I've met in life, the general conclusion is people who were really popular in high school rarely end up having the best lives once into adulthood. Probably because they spent too much time chasing popularity instead of real skills.
Anyway, that's a solid 8.5 for the last story...
Rounded it up that's a 6.5 overall.
Last story best of the 3 which is surprising given everybody was more into the 2nd one... But again, I think one's appreciation of this will really depend on how old you are.

AN OVERLOOKED DRAMA
Its an underrated gem a diamond buried in the rough this drama is exciting and thrilling i did enjoy all episodes a generious amount episodes 3 to 5 is a MASTERPIECE on its own it surely needs to be made into a drama on its own it STOOD OUT the chemistry tension and passion between the two leads on it's own was better than about 90 percent of other well known dramas they took this little budget drama and made it into their own show. I loved their tension just one look at each other and u could practically feek it from the screen while i did quite like the other episodes its obvious the 2nd couple owned the stage i hope another drama with the 2 of them comes outWas this review helpful to you?
CUTE and NOT bad... LIGHT
The stories were pretty cute! Another light series to add - extremely short series with 3 different scenarios~Personally, I think they were all pretty good in their own way - some of them may have not ended how one may have imagined or wanted but still had good endings.
Really young romance/crushes, and realistic problems that are definitely relatable.
Great choice on the actors/actresses! All played their parts well and were adorable! Honestly gave such a nostalgic feeling - leaving missing school love, friends, and just youthful memories!
Wouldn't say this is a MUST watch but another wouldn't mind leaving behind the background type and lightly watching.

Being a teen
This web drama focuses on the struggles of some teenagers. To be exact the whole series is divided into 3 parts, each of them last 2 episodes, but the last part is 3 episodes. My favourite couple was the second one (I'm sure you've seen some teasers about the on tiktok or any other platform), something about their chemistry makes them special.
I've watched this a while ago, and to be honest I enjoyed it, but if it could've had more episodes to each part, I would have enjoyed it more. But overall, it's a good series.
