It’s about the poisonous mushrooms in the series… one with Jiangshi and one with snows and flower petals…

That’s all…

I only have one single reason for this… two I guess?
- I find that the poisoned scene is way too cute and similar… just that different hallucinations they see… and the length of the extremes… one goes out… having a tour walking around while the other stay but gives a lot of reaction to it…
- As for the other things… let’s just say… the mixture of modern and historical set… one inside a game while the other one inside a novel… this plot is cute tho… ????????

It's kind of similar. I know someone recommended Love O2O, and this is basically that show except it's a movie. Ofc the premise is a little different and the main characters are not aspiring actors/actresses, but the gaming aspect is there. As soon as I heard Lu Wan Wan I was like no way someone hasn't recommended this. Someone did in fact recommend the show Love O2O, but at least I get to recommend the movie. I enjoyed both the show and the movie, I'd say watch the movie if you want to enjoy it faster or the show if you want to drag out the romance. Either way, both are great and have similarities to Double Love.

Sounds similar due to the gaming aspect.
The leads also had the same major in school, and similar aspirations to each other in both shows.

Romantic Chinese dramas that involve games as a side story / main plot. There is a lot of sass between the main leads that eventually leads to a precious romance. Go Go Squid *does* however involve many side characters and e-sports, as an aside.

just the overall feel of both dramas is pretty similar. just two look-looking people falling in love, gaming and giving cute energy

similarities in ML's being popular idols and good looking.
FL s in both work temporarily as assistants to the ML but have their own professions/dreams.
