Who's Your Daddy? (2023)

A FUN AND UNIQUE STORYLINE, BUT THERE'S A CATCH..(?)

Before going into a Fantasy inclined Sci-Fi like this, it's best to turn off your logical reasoning mindset. or do so most of the time, And that's what I did and typically found myself loving this drama.

A Hilariously entertaining plot is how I'd best describe this because I found myself laughing and smiling most at times. It's that type of drama that shouldn't But SHOULD be taken serious from aspect.

But was it flawlessly amazing? Eh....No? [Leave that to personal judgment I guess ]

The good stuff I found about this drama was Mostly the acting and execution of these characters. their attempts to deliver their role WAS FLAWLESS in my opinion. most especially our Highschool Male lead portraying the Elderly role of a business man and father. He had me questioning my Turned off logic If really this man was inside this kid?😅 the general flow of character was Amazing and I can't say had flaws to it.

Now here's...the catch? idk. The Overall plotline was compelling with outstanding potential which I belief deserved more recognition. it was heartwarming, emotional and didactic in nature. Beneath what seemed like a silly comedy storyline was indeed a Deep lesson which you're being shown ( If you could understand ).



But the plotline, Didn't always gives it's best as the potential felt. Sometimes I felt it was lacking In some aspects. Not basically enough delivered. and it was as if it was struggling to keep up the pace? Or so. Some plotlines were necessary tho...But seemed Unnecessary too. Because in attempt to drag all that in...They sorta Missed certain key points to the plot.

But Overall all these minor ( or major flaws?) Is someone one could overlook and pretty much consider it a fun and entertaining ride. Which is what this drama could be defined as. At least..if you wish to ignore it's deeper side.

To me, ending could be better? but well...I guess they wanted to leave some Impact ( which was unnecessary in my opinion tho)



Regardless it's a nice drama I'd recommend to people who love such Genre. Or are curious about it. Try your luck and you never know

The Regrets of choosing fame over familial relationship & love friendship.

This drama is one of my favorite body swap in this genre. I really love how they take took this to the next level of relating a supernatural event to tackle real life struggle & regrets. The male lead perfectly portrays the role with conviction & authenticity to the role of the dad & being Gao Wen ming who is the introverted friend. The build up each episode to take the step by step process to know about his son while handling the pressure on his friend's body is definitely helping get out the comfort zone of being a arrogant & selfish person for his goal & fame.
Overall this drama takes the body swap genre on a whole different matter is definitely catches my attention, also to note that our fate & efforts relies on how we Humans move & do it genuine love for the people we care about & will sacrifice ourselves to make them happy.

Definitely recommending it to you.
