Both revolve around medical life and a doctor who grows up with strong friendships and little romance between stories, Hospital Playlist is aimed at young doctors in hospital life, with modern medical technology, while Houlang has a traditional Chinese medical background. Many viewers thought that Houlang was a remake of the Hospital Playlist, but the author stated that this was not a remake and was written before the Hospital Playlist was broadcast. hospital playlist has 2 seasons

I think both these dramas give same vibes.. bettering themselves and away from modern world.. peaceful yet have a touch of chaos.. Genz is more comedic and buzzling than meet yourself.. but meet yourself is the best among these

similar vibes. enemies to friends to lovers. they both are super cute and great to watch.

I won't say that it's exactly the same but the feels are very much similar. The communal relationship and how all characters are bounded with each other through friendship and a close bond.
Gen Z is more towards one's growth and about medicine and the romance part is not the main thing. However, in the other one romance and friendship is primary with the leads growth and how they find themselves through the process of teenage to maturity.

Similarities:
1. Both are medical focused dramas.
2. In both dramas, the ml and fl starts off with enemies, slowly developing as friends and eventually lovers.

Differences:
1. Hi Venus focused on hospital and western medicine, Gen Z tcm.
2. In Hi Venus, more than medicine preaching, the relationship between the leads and the work politics holds more significance whereas in Gen Z, medicine teaching is primary of all.

Both are good shows and recommended.
