Its find difficult to understand, why such a good drama, rating in China drop to 3.6.
All the cast, story is the best, I can re watch it several times. This drama very popular outside China, in Indonesia this drama hit Korean drama, actually its the first time Chinese drama can fight Korean drama. Fireworks of my heart gain popularity in Indonesia, we usually only know korea actor/actress, this time we know who is Yang Yang, Wang Chu Ran and others actor/actress behind this drama. It was...okay. Lol. It is what it is, kind of like a Chinese grey's anatomy, no warning, happens out of the blue with the craziest scenario while two people are trying to be in love lmfao. But like a... slow love. Like they know it's love but they're too scared because of their past and everything that's happened and it's understandable but you find yourself skipping the show a lot because once they're like you know what??? I LOVE YOU, then you're like...okay? We get it. You find yourself not caring a lot and just realizing that you have a toxic rich family and multiple people with trauma but no one is doing anything about it truly. Lmfao

Acting was cool though, average, nothing sparking, tear jerker moments.

Music was calm.

Wouldn't rewatch it.

Overall a good watch, probably truly too long for what it was, still have a lot of questions like so the girl was a stalker towards her brother or??? Someone answer this lmfaooo

Must read!!

I saw this drama aired a year ago but didn't actually bothered to watch it but then I just suddenly remembered this a while ago so I decided to give it a try. Before everything, I've been a fan of CDRAMA since the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic and that was also the time that I have chosen to take a bachelor's degree in nursing, I wasn't very optimistic about that course until now because of a lot of things that is shown and depicted here in the drama (a typical situations that medical workers faces everyday) really frustrates me, the stress, the pressure I just can't. As someone who will be working on this two fields in the future (Bureau of Fire Protection/Nursing). I am so glad that I have watched this cdrama. It help me realize and thought about a lot of things especially that I'm hesitating. I was discourage of how ungrateful people are be it towards the fire fighters or nurses/doctors both field experiences prejudices, a mental punching bag for their frustration. Upon this review, I would like to set aside the other things in this drama I want to focus and thank the directors and the production team for creating this drama well. What they have shown here in the drama about the job of (fire fighters/doctors) DOES happens in real life, people are not qualified to comment that the scenarios here are unrealistic. I will take this as honoring the profession of the fire fighters and nurses/doctors who makes sacrifices everyday, every hour, every minute and every seconds just to save lives. And it's true while everyone is at home celebrating holidays this heroes are over there in their stations/department, ready for duty.
I like the leadership of Song Yan a lot, he is really great. And want to be as calm and capable as Xu Qin as well.
Others might not appreciate this drama, but for us who will be joining this fields in the future, it's beautiful. Thank you so much. Hope this review reaches the directors, cast and everyone who worked behind the scenes of FIREWORKS OF MY HEART. 🤍🎆

firefighter's life

I like this drama, a young man whose mother left him when he was young and his father died doesn't make him a messy young man. his uncle and aunt gave him enough love and affection so that he grew up to be a firm and responsible man. a very risky job as a firefighter does not make him give up.

here I see that firefighters are very noble, they go through danger to save people. Song yan really brings the characters in the drama to life.

For romance problems are just as sugar. There are some parts of Xu Qin's character that I don't really like. As a foster child she should know herself.
She may fall in love but she has to make his parents believe in Song yan slowly, not immediately leave his foster parents after she was given the best life and education.

Exploring fireworks!!

This drama is all about a love between a doctor and a fire fighter which was not supported by the female lead parents due to the difference in their statuses .
I must say that this is the first time I have known truly about firefighters,their lives and the risks they face in saving people from daily accidents to natural disasters.
This drama showcases the brotherhood these firefighters form amongst them,their training and coaching,how they really live faraway from their homes and near and dear ones ,only devoting themselves to public security
I really liked this part and was inspired by these true heroes.The emotional bonds between them,their process of rescuing people stuck in different hazards,and their relentless services for people's welfare were the most outstanding part for me in this drama.
Everything else and everyone were good in their acting.
Yang Yang and Wang Churan chemistry was good.
If you truly want to know about the real heroes,then this one is for you.

One of My TOP ALL TIME drama

This is my first modern cdrama and oh boy it was truly amazing. It deals with real life struggles and covering two main professions that is cool to watch in action. Giving a sneak peek on what Medical and Firefighters go through each day and their way of living.

Also this is not your typical drama where there's romance from start to finish because it deals with a lot of conflicts resulting to a PUSH/PULL relationship which is more relatable in real life than some dramas approach of fantasies. So people who're used to that need to have patients in watching this drama with 40 episodes.

But for me i didn't get bored because i'm so in love and amazed with everything in this drama. The acting of all the cast were great, the production and of course the amazing OSTs.

Again its up there ONE OF MY TOP ALL TIME DRAMA!!

Can someone give this FL a spine please? (updated on completion)

OK so I have finished the show now and my original worries about it came true, to a certain extent. The FL character only seemed to grow a spine in the last few episodes of the drama and by then she had let so much wrong happen to so many people that she really wasn't likable anymore. I understand where some people are coming from with saying she was basically traumatised and bullied herself.......but I guess personally I expected some character GROWTH over the duration of the drama, and hardly seemed to happen. Yes she would stand up to people in certain situations, but as soon as her family got involved she was stright back to meek and pitiful.........it got a bit repetitive and a bit pathetic towards the end. As did the fact she focused on what she gave up to be with the ML rather than what she got from being with him. She was just an unlikable character........although the actress herself was great at playing her.

The rest of the show got much better though, I just wish they could have written a FL who wasn't so 'woe is me aren't I a victim in everything', the actress deserved better.

I enjoy Yang Yang as an actor and also this genre of TV show. So I was looking forward to watching this. At first it was a great show with the history of the two leads balanced well with the action of the firefighting job Yang Yang's character does. However as it goes on that balance slips considerably, and it's all due to one thing........the FL character.

This FL character is one of the most annoying, naïve and spineless characters I have seen in a while. Herself and the ML where together 10 yrs before the show began and she broke it off, not just that but she was nasty about it, all because of pressure from her family. 10 years later she still likes our ML, who is now a firefighter. Only for some reason she seems to think he owes her an entire history of what he did in those 10 years, as well as taking point in any relationship they may have. This logic escapes me, especially when her family (particularly her mother and brother) are still set against the ML and caves in every time they open their mouth.
She is a character who wants the ML but doesn't want to take any risks whatsoever so for some reason thinks he should do it for her. She has no backbone to stand up to her family, who are oppressive and abusive (her brother obviously wants to be more than just a brother which the mother has figured out but is ignoring) The FL is always playing the victim, when her own actions do nothing to make the ML feel her words can be trusted.
I don't know why such a character got written but I do hope that, in the last half of this series she grows up and learns to stand on her own two feet.

Except for the one character, the rest are well rounded and fun. The serious sides of their jobs can be seen, but so can the humanity of the people behind the uniforms.
The music is nice and the costumes are well done, although sometimes the CG makes you wince.

All in all a decent show.......we will just have to see how the second half goes.
