The Fragments of Kylin

Both dramas were romance fantasy. It is set on historical setting and has supernatural and wuxia elements.

Love story and marriage of demon lady and a man who loves her with all his heart. Fragments of Kylin had stunning scenery and interiors. This was a much lighter (more comedy) series.

While Fragments is very different from L&R (a low budget short drama with an EXTREMELY simple plot) I'd recommend this one SPECIFICALLY if you felt like Xiao Yin Hua's ending was too sad or pitiful.

The same actress is the female lead in Fragments; she plays a similar role in terms of having a double identity, not being human, and being extremely straight-forward about her feelings. But in this one her love is fully requited and she gets her happy ending. Personally I like to think of it as being Xiao Yin Hua's next reincarnation after she dies in Love and Redemption.

Yuan Zhong is harassed by his own fox clan and Jin Tan Yin decides to help and protect him. The two of them will have to face personal enemies, and a secret will be discovered. Yuan Zhong rescues Jin Tan Yin from a trap. Reunited again, the pair of lovers join forces to defeat their enemies and restore order in the world.

Both are a gender flipped version of the other about an arranged marriage in which one of the leads loves the other instantly and the other is cold and takes time to fall in love. One of the leads is a demon, and the other human. Both couples, once they fall in love, are deeply devoted and inseparable. Both dramas are historical and have a similar feel.
