make a wish or make a failure

have after having seen all the episodes without sub clear this. My appreciations are the following:
Angel krit started out as a curious, noble and enthusiastic character who wanted to experience what it was like to be human. But as soon as he got it we could see that selfish and vain side.
Doctor paphum, for someone who sees ghosts, takes it too well, the medical parts are good but they have their flaws and they were advised by a doctor.
Angel chan, what a great performance emanating all that aura that a superior angel must have, his dedication and sacrifice to angel krit was captivating.
Dr. Aries was surprising to see in his few appearances totally opaque angel krit showing all his emotions to the fullest. To the point of thinking that he should have been the protagonist.
The comedic scenes were good, a bit over the top, and the sound only made it more noticeable.
The good dramatic scenes especially that of the spirits of the girl and the lover. The death scene of Dr. Aries with his parents and memorable angel chan sacrifice.
The NC scene that I can say everything was going well until Pharm is cheating on dean with dr. Paphum? and there everything rotted. Just discarded. Because I no longer saw the angel krit but another fluke character.
In conclusion, other series the endings take a long time and with this it was the opposite, very fast, everything loses meaning. Enough with SS1 with SS2 would only make it look poorer than it already is.

no expectations no disappointment

what was this I came to see this because of FLUKE AND NIKE but what the hell this is UGH I want to like it but I just DON'T LIKE IT I didn't meet the expectations I had of it.
What went through the mind of the producer and director when they made it.
An angel coming out of a TREE? I knew that elves, fairies, etc. live in the trees, but this is the first time I've heard of angels in the trees.
The special effects are exaggerated, not to mention the sound.
Not even the NC scene was good angel krit reminded me of pharm at that moment with the haircut and everything and that scene died there and we are talking about FLUKE who can achieve great scenes and proof of this is RED WINE IN THE DARK NIGHT.
I expected something better knowing that it was a series by the same writer as TRIAGE AND MANER OF DEAD and knowing that I was part of the production but this is a total disappointment, if this is the same as the novel I will say that the writer did it in a day where all his imagination had gone to create such nonsense and I hope the next book that is going to be adapted is better than this. It is not worth that it lasts an hour and more than 30 minutes is more than enough for this kind of show. And that I waited for all the episodes to see if it improved but apart from the great performance of NIKE Y PON there is nothing else.

what show is this?

I expected something better because Fluke was acting here.
This series lacked continuity, it seemed like excerpts from added pieces which did not help the plot to be convincing.
The worst sin they could have committed is to completely change the ending of the series.
The angel does not stay with Dr. He returns to heaven, it is the doctor from whom he borrowed the body who stays with him.
The nc scene did not even attract attention, nor move as in Fluke's previous works (Red Wine in the Dark Night) it had more affinity than this.
In short, a series that I would pass by without stopping to watch it a second time.

a refreshing series, bringing laughter and enjoyment to viewers

Pros:
The series's strongest point is the script, I like every little detail of it and every big and small stories in it.

The story of ghost characters is the most touching, many attached to their loved ones so much, that they can't leave, like Doctor Met, or because their loved ones are too attached, like the twin brother of Doctor Pakpoom. All other ghots also has a touching story which make viewers sympathize with.

The comedy parts are quite interesting, funny and cute, making the audience laugh in excitement, unfortunately there are no subtitles so they can't convey to the international viewers.

The acting of all the cast is good. Angel Kris is especially interesting, he always surprises viewers in every scenes. Fluke made me totally forget he used to be a Pharm.

Nike is so used to love-sacrifice roles like this that I'm not surprised he nailed it.

Judo was a pleasant surprise, I didn't expect him to make a good suitable aura for this doctor role.

And Poon was so good as the Met, I cried when he died in his parents' embrace.

I also like all the supporting actors, especially Dr. Nung Ninh🥴. I love her👍👍👍

Cons:
I don't like the use of sound very much, it's too exaggerated, like many other Thai movies and dramas.

In total: it is short but not cut, it's funny, interesting, in harmony and still conveys the deep meanings of the story.

painful to see

I found this series difficult to watch. It's silly and vapid with juvenile humor. The rubber chicken, the bathroom humor, the over-the-top "humor" performances generated, etc., were just awful, not to mention the questionable consent issues.
The two leads have no chemistry and as a Fluke fan, this was very disappointing. In fact, I saw Judo grimace a little while they were kissing. Poon was cute and Nike was great in his role, although I wanted to see more of him. His story was very interesting.
I gave this star because I really liked Nike. The series and the main cp were overrated before the series started and were combined with the ridiculous reality of the series. I hope this never sees a season 2.

Not Worth it

I only gave this series a chance cause I love Fluke and I love even more his beautiful lead partner, Judo from TMOTB who I've always found insanely attractive. However, this series was not my cup of tea, with its overly tries at being funny and just way too many side characters that could've easily been cut. I also have made multiple attempts to find english subtitles for episode 3 and beyond, but failed, so please take this review with a grain of salt seeing as I skimmed through the last four episodes.

Let's Dive In.

The first episode is probably the worst, and that's coming from somebody who had to watch most of the series without english subtitles. I almost dropped this series then, the only reason I didn't is because I haven't watched Fluke in a while and I really wanted to stay for him. The second episodes is a little better cause it introduces the actual plot of the series, and some higher actions happen, but still, lots of unnecessary characters and a whole bunch of irrelevant conversations. Then you get to episodes 3 which starts my journey of watching with no subtitles, so now I'm bored and confused. I skimmed through the last four episodes; nothing looked appealing or worth watching except a couple of decent kisses and an NC scene from the leads. all in all, save your time, watch something else. I doubt my review would've been much different even if I understood what they were saying.

Ratings:

Story: 4/10: Judo and Fluke look nice together, and from the little bit of the story I got, it wasn't terrible, but not good either.

Acting: 8/10: best aspect about the series. Fluke acts comedic instead of sad for once, so that was nice to see.

Music: 6/10: didn't pay attention to it.

Recommendation Value: 1/10 - Watch literally anything else.

Just Give It A Try

Make a Wish is actually not bad at all—way better than what most commenters make it out to be. I honestly don’t get why it has such low ratings. In fact, it’s better than another BL with a similar concept. The acting is solid, the chemistry is decent, and it has plenty of funny and cute moments. It’s not boring or dragging in the slightest—definitely one of those hidden gems.

While Make a Wish has its share of lighthearted scenes, it also surprised me with its depth. The supernatural aspect is well-executed, and the actors really delivered—especially Fluke. I had no idea he could pull off comedy this well! Another thing I loved is seeing familiar faces—many of the actors here have been in other BL series, and it’s refreshing to see them together in a new setting.

My only gripe is the way the female doctor character was written—her over-the-top acting was kind of distracting. Honestly, the series could have flowed better without her exaggerated mannerisms. And also the soundtrack, I am not fan of it.

I also appreciate that it’s only 6 episodes—if it had been longer, it might have started dragging. I’m really looking forward to Season 2, and I’m hoping it’ll be even better, with more twists and surprises than the first season.

Sorry for the content

Fluke-kun's acting and cuteness were perfect, but to be honest, I was disappointed because the story didn't have much depth and many of the comedy bits felt like crude jokes. If they are going to use suitable actors, I would like them to create a play with a script that suits them.
The actors had no similarity with the characters.
I highlight Nike's work and put in excellent performances, I think they were the ones who somewhat saved the series.
It's a shame that Fluke's acting ability has been overshadowed to such a degree. He deserved a better script and character than this one.
he was completely overshadowed and I dare say treated as a beginner with this series.

More touching than it looks!

If it's up to Angel Krit, I probably won't enjoy it as much. But, P'Phum and P'Shan save the show? Boy, they are two really fine men that I want to see more of.

Acting is good, especially for P'Phum. I also enjoy the storyline, although I'm not a big ship for Krit and Phum,

But, boy, this show is way more touching than it looks. The 1st 2 episodes made me think it's gonna be some comedy style BL, but turns out to have lots touching moments. It has some great lessons about life & death too.

Also, seeing the actor who play Jeff in Pitbabe acting here is like a bonus point.

Overall, I enjoy the show more than I thought I'd. I'm glad I didn't let the comments/rating affect me

Not worth it

That was so much worse than I expected, I guess it's my fault for having any kind of expectations for this series. I truly tried enjoying it, but I just couldn't, and I had to skip through most of the last episode.

Things I liked:
1. Out of everything that was happening in this series, I found a thing that I actually liked, and it was Met's story. Even though it was made a bit sloppily, I still liked him and his family. The last moment with his parents made me tear up.
2. The idea behind this series. When I first read the description to this series, it sounded amazing, and I was hoping for a cute comedy with supernatural bits. Sadly, it ended up being just a slop that looks like they didn't even try with it.
3. Angel Shan. He was one of the most interesting characters, and the ending made me even more interested in him and his story.

Things I disliked:
1. Female doctor Nongning. She didn't have too much screen time, but it was enough to make me dislike her. She is so extra for no reason, all of her reactions and behaviors were highly exaggerated. Nongning was a good, supportive friend, but the fact that they wrote her to be so dramatic most of the time just made her annoying.
2. Cringy. Too many sound effects and cringy jokes/toilet humor. Editing is straight from 2014.
3. Visual effects. That was probably the worst part of it all, it's just hurt to watch at times.
4. So confusing. There were so many moments where I was actually confused about what was going on.
5. First episode being literally about nothing, cut most of it out, and we lose absolutely nothing important.
6. Their first kiss. I can somehow understand why Krit initiated that kiss, being drunk, confused and whatnot, but I see quite literally 0 reasons for the main character not only not to push him away but to also kiss him back… They know each other less than a day, and as far as the series shows us they had no previous flirting or anything, so I really don't see a reason for this kiss to happen.
7. ZERO CHEMISTRY! I don't know if it's the actors or the writing's fault, but the main couple has no chemistry at all, everything feels dull and all of their interactions are empty. They talk to each other like two robots, and any time they would kiss or a have a “cute/romantic” moment, I truly could not care less about it. I guess whoever made this series though that adding “romantic” music to some of their interactions will help, but it only makes it worse.
8. A lot of useless fillers. Most of the screen time is just them doing anything but what they actually supposed to. They were on the time crunch and still spent most of the time just doing nothing useful.
9. Acting is really lacking in a lot of moments.
10. All of the series budgeting clearly went to rent out a car for the main character.
11. Zero build up for the so-called “Love”!

Overall it was truly disappointing and the only reason for me to want a 2nd season is that I just want to know more about Angel Shan. But I'm almost a hundred percent sure that if they continue with it and make a 2nd season, that it's going to be the same slop. So I think I'm good on that.

The series dives into some deep themes like identity, spirituality, and love. There are genuinely touching moments, but the execution doesn’t always live up to the story’s ambition.

Krit starts off as this noble, curious angel who wants to experience human life. But once he gets that chance, we start to see hints of vanity and selfishness. Every wish comes with a price, and by choosing to live as a human, Krit has to face loss, frustration, and tough decisions. That contrast between divine purity and human flaws is at the heart of his journey. He embodies the longing for transcendence, but also the vulnerability that comes with opening yourself up to the real world.

Fluke was amazing as Angel Krit, but I just couldn’t buy into the romance between Krit and Phakphum. It felt more like a PhiNong vibe than actual romantic chemistry. Honestly, I was rooting for Krit and Angel Shan to end up together. That storyline would’ve been way more compelling, especially since angels aren’t supposed to fall in love. When Shan broke the rules for Krit, it was so romantic. Met getting the chance to say goodbye to his parents really hit me.

Overall, it’s a cute and fun series, but it definitely needed a few more episodes to flesh out the romance between Krit and Phakphum. Fun fact: Sammon makes a cameo as an ER doctor!

Good but not great

For me, this was an Ok series, wish it had better subtitles to help but from what can see and understand the story was a bit too fast to show in 6 episodes, and sometimes it felt flat. The cast was good but hard to keep on with all the twin talk and losing who felt what for who as it looked like everyone had a crush on each other which is where it all got lost. I sadly have to say not a fan of this series, to much going on in a short period. The acting was good but a bit other time at some moments there was a little chemistry but lacked strength in the story and love development.
