Ryohei is happy to have everyone in the Kawai family celebrate his birthday. He is also thrilled to receive a handmade wallet from Kaori. One day, Daichi comes to the Kawai family to return something that Momoko had forgotten. Yuta lies and says Momoko is not at home in order to make sure Daichi and Momoko do not meet. Yuta is very worried about the relationship between Momoko and Daichi.
Meanwhile, Hana learns that her classmate Saito Shoichi has lost 20,000 yen of his living expenses and is in trouble. Knowing that Shoichi's parents are divorced and that he is struggling financially, Hana remembers hearing some junior high school delinquents talk about making money by selling girls' underwear, and when she gets home, she secretly puts Momoko's underwear in a paper bag. Later, Momoko realizes that the underwear is missing and suspects Ryohei, causing a big commotion. Even Yuta explodes with anger at Ryohei, before finally, Hana, who is unable to bear it any longer, confesses that she is the culprit. Kaori scolds Hana, but shows some understanding when she finds out that it was for a friend.
