As Kawai Hana kneels down, the delinquents finally name the perpetrator. Her name is Nakagawa Yuki, and she just wanted to get good grades. Momoko and Kaori are touched by Hana's actions. That night, Momoko returns the amusement park tickets Hana gave her and tells her to invite Daichi instead. The next day, Hana forces the tickets back into Momoko’s hands and walks away.
On her way home from school, Hana hears from Sho that there was a motorcycle accident and that Daichi may have been hit. Her face turns pale, and she rushes to the scene. However, it turns out to be someone else, and she breathes a sigh of relief. Momoko watches Hana's reaction and feels conflicted.
The next day, Momoko hears Daichi say that he might go to Hokkaido with his father, but that he doesn't want to go. She gets angry at him, saying that it's stupid to complain. Momoko was intentionally making him angry so that he would give Daichi to Hana. Kaori, who found out about this, tells him that if she loves Daichi, she shouldn't do such a thing. Hana and Momoko sense that each is hiding their own feelings and trying to give up Daichi, and they argue, "Stop trying to be cool," but then Daichi shows up.
