I'm currently 4 eps into crushology 101 and it just keeps reminding me of when i watched cheer up. The vibes it gives, the university settings, the second leads, etc and everything just reminds me of it. So if you liked either one of these, I'd def recommend watching the other one because they're kinda similar. <3

Both of these dramas are romances centres around sports. Twenty-five Twenty-one focuses on fencing while cheer up revolves around a college cheer squad. Both drama's have FL as their main centre character, however on a few occasions the narrative in Twenty-five Twenty-one switches to the ML and also the FL daughter. There is a sense of mystery to both dramas; in Twenty-five Twenty-one you are constantly left in a will they won't they state regarding the main character relationship, whereas Cheer Up is more mysterious in that someone is out to get the FL.

If you enjoyed Twinkling Watermelon, you might want to check out Cheer Up! Both dramas have that youthful, heartwarming vibe, and they use music not just as a background element, but as a core part of the characters' journeys. Twinkling Watermelon dives into emotional storytelling with band performances that tug at your heart, while Cheer Up brings the same energy through its cheer squad and musical moments that feel just as moving. The coming-of-age feels, friendship dynamics, and emotional growth in both are really similar, just in different settings. Highly recommended if you're into music-themed K-dramas with heart!
