PONDPHUWIN IS GOOD BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT PERTH?

I know I know that the main couple is PondPhuwin but I couldn't help but to think about Perth all the god damn time!! I never thought Perth as a good actor but UM HELLO????? I am clearly wrong! He is a good damn actor and the way he express his feelings, good god! Can I just compliment the outfit coordinator as well? Perth's outfit is just... LORD HAVE MERCY! Anyway, let's talk about the characters first.

I don't have any single complain about the characters. For Neung's character, I really like how immature he is at the beginning of the series however soon, he has character development episodes by episodes. He started to get less selfish and open up to the other characters. Phuwin shows great acting by showing how spoiled Neung's character is and how difficult for him to open up to anyone since most of the people that approach him must want something. AND LORD, CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT PHUWIN'S ENGLISH? MY GOD!!! I didn't think I could move on from Bible's english in KinnPorsche series but MISS GURL-... Phuwin's english is damn good and apparently he is fluent in English. Anyway, I kind of understand why Neung is being so stubborn since he is always all alone, so that's the logic why he is being like that.

POND. POND. POND. HM.... GORGEOUS and I like how he is portraying Palm. As a servant that is loyal to his master, always look down and being all protective of his master. THOUGH, I was about to complain about why is he being so weak during action scene, it's a logic explanation since he is just 18. His character I mean so he doesn't have that much energy to protect Neung. I wish the action scene where he was doing his laundry could be develop better cause they have so much potential like they could have use the bamboo ladder as a prop. What a waste. But, seriously, love them.

KISS SCENES ARE DA BOMB. When I said DA BOMB i mean DA BOMB. Not some high school peck on the lips kind of shit. Their kiss scenes are *chef kiss*. I love it when they kiss, they show that they are really passionate with each other, like they longing for each other's presence.

overall, I just love them so fucking much and I hope they have more series upcoming <3

I LOOOVEE ITT!!!

I have to thank Our skyy 2 for making me find and watch this treasure. Me being absolutely in love with OhmNanon but wanting to watch all Our skyy not just Bad buddy part made me even change my main ship. As shipper I should not ship people but I'm not this crazy shipper who's annoying actor's under every post they make and I'm not this obsessed so there's nothing wrong with it. I loved PondPhuwin's chemistry so much in the series. At first I was shocked because so much was happening in the first ep and I did not expect it to be so thrilling but the more I watched the more I became addicted as I was entertained by the plot the most. Some eps were boring like the first ones with Ben whom I hated for obvious reasons, hahah, but it got quickly back to entertainment. I loved here more characters than just main casts. The mothers were amazing and absolutely loveable. Supporting characters like Chopper, Palm's dad and Palm's mother's friend too. I liked the tension between two families like in KinnPorsche and uncle being also the main asshole but actors were very good. GMMTV can really do action drama without explicit scenes and it still makes me entertained to the very end and even more in love with the main characters. I just prefer romance over sex scenes so I liked these series more than KinnPorsche but both are golden and very amazing so I don't want to compare.

Oh the bodyguard trope....

Am I gonna love a bodyguard plot? Of course. Every time.

I thought this one did a good job of building the relationship before the romance even started. The cinematography reminded me a bit of ITSAY, with beautiful beach shots throughout the show. Pond and Phuwin do a fantastic job as Palm and Nueng, and their chemistry is great.

Biggest complaint with this show is the frustration you feel as a viewer from the back and forth of "you're better off without me!" between the two of them. Luckily, it was never too drawn out, but it was still a bit overdone. The way they wove the legend into the show was really well done, and I loved that they kept that until the end. I was expecting this one to be way sadder than it was, and I'm glad it wasn't! It was a great balance between conflict, tragedy, and relief/happiness that it made each episode worth waiting for.

Doesn't deserve the negative comments it receives.

Oh whoa! There were bad reviews but listen, LISTEN! The tension. The stolen looks. The slight touches. The lingering of eyes. The double meaning behind words. Dare I say it was an acting masterpiece? Yes, yes I do. I have been watching BLs for over four years and this was definitely worth the watch. Don't expect a mafia BL; it's about a rich family (as stated in the series' details) in conflict with others, but it covers the same things. It reminded me of Kinnporsche but with a younger cast (the mc being 18). AND the acting?! Pond played the role of a shy servant turning into a friend and into even more PERFECTLY! Pond and Phuwin both had awesome acting skills; the way they portrayed their characters' feelings and thoughts even without words made me scream more than once. The way Phuwin could portray his character's jealous with purely bodylanguage made me respect him even more as an actor. Even before they admitted it to themselves, you could see the growing love in their eyes which was enough to give me shivers. Whoever dares to say they lack chemistry must lack something themselves. They're one of the BL couples with the most chemistry I've encountered so far and maybe the best kisses in the whole of BL.
I don't get why there are so many bad reviews about this masterpiece.
OH AND HOW COULD I FORGET…the eye candy!! Pondphuwin are a beautiful duo and I hate to be superficial but it must be added to the review; the many shirtless scenes are definitely a present given to us by the Lord Himself ><

This series is definitely not everyone's cup of tea just by reading at the reviews, well I am disagreeing with them.

The story is so good. Yes, it started like a school drama but doesn't we except it to go into action just by the start scene and just by role that is played by Palm?

It was well acted, storyline was good, and cinematography was perfect (a fan of ITSAY, Your Name Engraved Herein...). Never imagined to have PondPhuwin to be in this kind of genre considering their other series but they really fitted well, I commended their acting a lot. And can I just say that Perth is an actor to look foward to. I knew him from Love Chance and he keeps on improving not just in acting but visually too. PerthChimon is a great pairing too.

Current rewatching the series because I miss them. I just hope to have another series from them soon.

Was not a fan of PondPhuwin Now a big fan

I honestly doesn’t know what to expect from this series but as the stories went by I was hoping to see more of them. Phuwin as Nueng is my favourite character through the series as he displayed a much better acting than in Fish Upon the Sky. They played a different role and I must say they really did a good job. The mothers and the supporting characters did a good job despite some plot holes. The good thing about it is the story doesn’t gets boring until the end after clearing up the main threat Palm manage to pull another cause for their parting. The bad part was they knew who caused the problems but instead ran away which could either have been solved in the first place. Also Neung father was shot and they let the murderer to slide without careful investigation.
For the cast, Chopper was such a character I was hoping he didn’t turn out like his father as there were a good reason for him to hate Neung. I’m glad he wasn’t. Perth displayed a whole emotions well with his character with Ben. Although there was some lack of development from Ben side, I don’t think I can expect alot from support characters.
Pond played his part well despite there were some off-emotions during his dialogue and it was as though in the last ep makes me feel Palm doesn’t want to be with Neung and the leg injury only requires months of physical therapy he could have stayed and gets better with him. Leaving Neung is a let down.
Overall, I want to see another Pond-Phuwin series. I wish GMM give them another chance to portray different characters and hoping their acting improves for best.

Watch for the chemistry

PondPhuwin chemistry is star of the show. Its a very normal family rivalry and war thing but the lead couple makes it shine. But i will confess, for every BL i have watched i have a favorite of the two boys. For this one Phuwin has my heart. He is charming and his acting is marvelous. His expression game is also good.

Two of them together make emotional scenes so real and the relationship development between the two is also beautiful.

happiness is a person

this was the best bl i have ever watched.

The acting was lacking at some emotional scenes but overall the dialogues and actions were not cringe or bad.
We see two heartbroken teenages fighting for the people they love and the future they might create as they start to explore more about themselves, depending on each other and deal with a lot of situations.

Every scene has a feeling of saddness, the cinematography is amazing. The plot was kinda cliche and not suprising, but unfolds great.

the two actor’s chemistry is amazing

So far good

This is my first time watching any series with 3 of theses actors. Neung, palm and Ben
I don't know them at all but sooo far am enjoying it. I really came here if am being truthful it's because of Perth. I came too see his acting. Last series I watched with him was love by chance. So far am digging his character as Copper. Just hope they don't turn him a villain in the series. Need him and Ben to figure their shit out and get ready for dangerous moment with them. Hope it's not another death for him.😒 Anywho Let's see how the rest plays out. Complete and love it

10/10

I went into this series and was not disappointed at all. So, I was shocked to see bad reviews left underneath NLMG. Personally, I thought it was great and emotional. I could feel the chemistry and love between the leads.

I like the bodyguard protecting rich boy theme. There was very noticeable character development with Nuengdiao, and I also LOVED Palm. After watching NLMG I became obsessed with Phuwin & Pond, they’re so cute.

I say this series was definitely worth the watch to the point it nearly topped “The Eclipse” in my list.

It Is Really A Beautiful Story

It is told very well with both storylines and great acting. I was impressed with how engrossed I became in their quest and in the lives of the two main characters. This series had all the earmarks of being just another Thai BL series but this one took itself more seriously and worked very hard to project a moral arc to it with an outcome that was painful, real, and incredibly honest. This is also one of the few Thai BLs of late that had serious conversations about relationships and how impactful they are to one another and what the consequences of falling in love can be.

The chemistry brought the series to success

*happy ending*

This series is a good combination of romance, action and drama. And I loved every inch of it.

The main characters had the best chemistry, though at times Pond's face is a bit luckluster especially during serious conversations.

The other characters are very well casted. I loved every character, even the villain for their magnificent acting. I was deeply immersed to the story because of it.

The soundtrack is bomb. I had to save the whole album of the series in spotify because there is no song I didn't like. Highly recommended playlist.

The cinematography is chef's kiss. The color scheme is a mellow brown which gives off a feel of 90s kind of show.

The story may need a few tweaks though. There are parts that may seem like a stupid decision for the characters to do. Also, Palm never got out of his 'responsibility' love for Nueng which is kinda sad for me. I hope he learns to love himself as well and be spoiled to Nueng.

All in all, this is one of the best series created by gmmtv and a great series for PondPhuwin ❤️
Definitely a must watch!
