Sodium Radium Potassium!!
My School President was the first thai bl I watched and I think it was a very good start in the genre. What I liked:
- First of all... the music was an absolute delight. Every song was very good and fitting, my personal favorite being the first opening main theme.
- Gun/Tinn is probably one of the cutest couples I have ever seen. From start to finish they delivered with insane chemistry, cuteness overload and some of the funniest scenes I have seen in a while. I love how Tinn is normally very smart but in the presence of his crush he just loses all his braincells. Gun being so oblivious to Tinn liking him is also very charming and funny. He is just a silly little guy and I adore both of them very much.
- I really enjoyed the u-turn of Tinn's mom. While watching I never really liked her and tbh she kinda got on my nerves but in the last episode she really surprised me.
What I disliked:
- I really really did not care about Win/Sound. Like it's not that I disliked the stand-alone characters I just really did not enjoy them as a couple.
- It really was just the Gun/Tinn Show. Which obviously isn't that bad considering how insanely well they work together and how cute they are. And also they're the main characters so clearly they have the most amount of screentime and development. But almost every other character fell flat. And I don't mean that they're bad or anything just.. kinda there. The only other characters I really enjoyed were Thiuson and Gun's mom.
I still can recommend My School President with all my heart. It truly was a great experience.

Simple Typical School BL
**Brief Synopsis**B (Student): Gun
T (Student): Tinn
- Beginning: B and T are both students at the same school. B is member of a band and T is school president. B’s band will have to disband if it doesn’t contribute to the school unless he can get T to agree for them to stay. B seems to think that T doesn’t like him very much and won’t help him keep his club, but T actually has a crush on B. But B is oblivious to a lot of things so doesn’t realize when T is helping him. But in order to get his club authorized, B perseveres, appearing more and more in T’s vicinity.
- Middle: Still pretending that he doesn’t feel a thing for B, T continues to help B, explaining to B he’s only helping him win an important music competition is because of the school’s reputation. He even offers to tutor him when B asks him. And the more time they spend together, an attraction starts to develop and B starts to feel something for T as well. From that point onwards, we start feeling some tension between the two. After a while, T is unable to pretend he feels nothing and finally confesses to B who says he feels the same way. But there is an issue that B can’t date before the competition is over.
- End: After the competition, they start to date officially. They wanted to keep it on the down low but when a photo of them kissing is uploaded, they become known school wide. B is bothered when not everyone reacts positively to it but T reassures him that they will always be together. The series ends with them coming out to T’s parents and having their first kiss.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors look really good together because both of them are really good looking.
- I actually like how awkward T is at the beginning because he doesn’t want his crush to show but he doesn’t know how to interact with B. And he can’t confess because he knows B can’t date until he wins that music competition. So he invents a reason for him to help them.
- I actually like the tutor trope even if it’s super cliche. B has to pass his exams to continue to do his music so T agrees to tutor him.
- I like the concept of T acting like a love sick idiot when he thinks of B and immediately turning emotionless when B enters the room (he also acts as if B was bothering him when he’s really happy about B’s presence). If only T was better at acting like a love sick idiot. His acting only makes it look weird and a little cringey.
- I absolutely loved how T would carefully touch B’s hand, afraid B would reject him. It’s super romantic.
- The comfort thing is also a cliche but I love how it got them to hug.
- I love the subtle signs of affection such as holding hands in secret because they cant really be obvious about it.
- I love how it’s relatively angst free.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting is truly horrible at times. Reactions and expressions of anger or joy are exaggerated and unnatural. Sometimes the acting is too plain, emotionless and other times way too exaggerated, borderline cringey.
- This is a typical school romance, meaning things happen to serve the plot and not because it makes sense. For example, what normal school has ball dancing class as a class you have to take? It’s only there so the leads can dance together.
- The romance is really slow burn meaning things progress really slowly. In the beginning episodes, all we know is that T has a crush on B but we don’t see any signs of that except for a smile or two.
- I didn’t like the singing or the songs, but some people liked it so this is mostly a “me” thing.
- The whole “T wants to confess to B that he’s the one he likes but every time he tries to confess, he gets interrupted, leaving B to believe T likes someone else” plot is simply cliche and lazy writing. It serves no purpose other than extend the run time.
- The show spends way too much time showing random high school stuff like gym class or eating lunch. It makes the show seems longer then it needs to be because those scenes are really boring.
- This show is really tame when it comes to intimate touches, because of the no dating rule, B and T don’t even kiss even after confessing their feelings. But they do flirt which is cute. They haven’t kissed and B’s mother already know about them.
- There are a lot of cliche tropes in this show so don’t expect any memorable moments or plot twists.
**Conclusion**
This is an okay watch that I won’t revisit.

A cute couple in a cute situation
A very clean production, a good script, good to very good actors and a really good score.Only in kissing the actors need to get some coaching. I don't expect real kisses. Don't get me wrong. But I want to see their passion, their fire in their eyes... so it needs body languge. It doesn't fit when you stand, sit or lie bored while getting "your first kiss" ^^
I love the music and it has not much of a musical. It's not too much and the quallity is great. I want to hear more of good music in BL-Drama.

Endearing and fun
After all the angst and misery that Young Royals season 3 gave me, I really just wanted some fun and light-heartedness, and this drama HIT THE SPOT.The main couple is, of course, the best part of the show. The chemistry is fantastic and this is a great example of how to write a healthy relationship that isn't boring. I loved seeing their relationship develop from "enemies" (with gigantic air quotes lol) to friends, and watching how they communicated and supported each other throughout. The side romances were also great and I never once felt like I wanted to skip any scenes.
I was also pleasantly surprised at how well the humor worked. There are a lot of comparisons with this and 2gether, but I found that drama's humor too over-the-top, making the drama feel low-stakes and nonsensical. On the other hand, this show's humor was well-timed and endearing, and most importantly it never interfered with the tone of the show. It was serious when it needed to be, touching and sad when it needed to be, and funny when it could be. It struck a great balance between touching on some serious topics like homophobia and discrimination, while also making sure we got the feel-good friendships and family scenes.
Overall, this was a great watch. I admit that not all the songs were my vibe, but I loved the ending song, Once Upon A Time. Whether or not you like the songs won't really affect how fun of a watch it is. Ultimately, it's not a life-changing drama, but it will, without a doubt, make your weekend better.

This.is.a.MASTERPIECE.
The story wasn't new, but truly pure, healthy, cute, and healing at the same time. I thought I'll just watch this instead of waiting for Never Let Me Go, but I actually love this series in the first episode! Tinn being a green flag and Gun being cute(he sang beautifully too omggg) is the most interesting thing for me! And the side couples are super adorable, SoundWin is enemies at first but turns out Sound fell first but Win fell harder ahhhh. And TiwsonPor too! Tiwson being a bestie for Tinn and Por just doing nothing yet still too cute to be true! Was this review helpful to you?

This is how you do a HS BL drama!!!!!
It's the little things that matter, and this series demonstrated that.In MSP, not everything goes as planned: There are a great deal of downs. MSP addresses issues like failure, homophobia, fear of first love. MSP has distinguished itself from other dramas as viewers are always left with the expectation of something new and misunderstanding or event are dealt within the episode itself, without letting it drag to the next episode.
How could anyone not fall in love with all the comedy, romance, and heart-fluttering moments they have together? Because love is a force that won't let you fall, this series serves as a definition of love and demonstrates how it inspires and heals.
You can feel Tinn & Gun chemistry through the screen. They would be the one flirting/ interacting/ having a moment, but I would be the one blushing, squealing, banging my hands somewhere, gripping my bedsheets, covering my face/mouth, and cheering for them. I am honestly in love with their love. They are extremely cute; I tell you that's not the only factor that makes it good.
Only "BUTTERFLIES" and my inability to manage my emotions (all the delight, anxiousness, and excitement I felt while watching this series). I was completely absorbed in the universe of MY SCHOOL PRESIDENT because of their chemistry, which feels so real and sincere. They are very addicted to flirting and Tinn is great at it; I love it whenever he smiles from ear to ear while gazing at his crush. There are several instances in which Tinn is observed fighting to contain his smile when he is next to Gun. No other actor could possibly play anyone in this series, in my opinion (BEST CAST).
I'M GONNA MISS: Those night phone calls, their warm consoling hugs, comforting each other, their locking of the pinky fingers, holding hands, no eye contact (cause they were too shy to look straight into each other's eyes), them openly flirting in front of their friends, that foolishly in love smile....
In addition to Gun and Tinn, their families and friends play a significant role in the narrative. It's really endearing to see the boys' relationships with their families and how differently their mothers handle raising their sons. There are a few unexpectedly cute side couples too. At the end of the day, MSP is a show about love and all its different forms.
The production teams worked very hard on this. Even the supporting cast members have been individually designed characters. As far as chemistry goes, Gemini and Fourth are a match made in heaven.
I'm eager to support them as they develop and are given a variety of worthwhile assignments to sharpen and display their talents.

ENEMY TO LOVER WITH COMEDIC TWIST
I love love love this series!!!! I mean not that much though cause I wish there were more kiss scenes cause they are TOO HOOKED WITH EACH OTHER!!!!! I was wondering who is GeminiFourth since they keep on popping on my fyp and now that I watch their series, I can confirm that they have an excellent chemistry. First episode and I AM IN LOVE!!!! The awkwardness is not in the room with us. Their chemistry is pure and innocent maybe because they are playing a high schoolers so their relationship is puppy-like, very goofy especially Fourth. OH MY GOD. I couldn't help but to think of Baekhyun whenever I watch how good Fourth portraying Gun. Gun is very playful and someone that is living carefree yet he becomes very serious when it comes to his band.To be honest, I have no issue with this series. It reminds of first love in high school feels like, with their friends already knowing that they got together but giving space for them to confessed that they are dating. The feeling confession is not that direct and more like they are filtering their words to tease each other BUT i think that is damn adorable!! MAD IN LOVE with the pureness of their relationship. If I want to complain, just small issue where I think their kiss scene is very limited. That is all. LOL.
Other than that I think I like the series. LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE GEMINI X FOURTH <3

Took me completely by surprise
Listen, if you also belong to those that think "High School? Man, I'm too old for that" let me tell you: You will never be too old for this serotonin boost. At first, I didn't wanna watch it. The trailer didn't capture my interest, it looked like a cute silly HS romance, like, nice and all, but not what I'm looking for. Then I kept seeing people talking about it and was in the mood for something light and sweet and man I do not regret it a single second! This series made me smile like crazy every Friday, literally my support gays!
TinnGun are the sweetest, literally smiling as I'm writing all of this. They are so cute and so funny, Tinn with his daydreaming never failed to make me laugh. GeminiFourth are terrific actors and they are only 18! It's insane how well they work together.
The other actors were fine, too. Especially the parents were great. Their characters are all supportive to each other, Chinzhilla friendship is lovely! They are sometimes really dumb, but you must understand - they are dumb /together/!
The storyline is nothing too crazy, but it excels at what it's doing. Of course, at some points it's a little bit predictable, but overall that's fine. I don't think anyone starts MSP and expects crazy plot twists everywhere. The last episode had a few moments I felt like could have been resolved better, but nothing too crazy. The plot has its more serious moments, but the writing never fails to feel balanced and thouroughly thought through.
The music, though! Fire! Ford's "Come Closer" is my favourite Thai BL OST EVER so far, play it at my goddamn wedding!
If you are looking for something to make you feel better, to make you giggle like crazy and laugh out loud, this is for you!

A cute but questionable BL drama
This drama follows a group of boys in a high school music club, desperately trying to keep their club alive and restore its former glory. Their only hope? Winning the prestigious Hot Wave competition. To make things even more dramatic, the club has a strict no-dating rule… which, ironically, is ignored by multiple members. Yo openly dates a girl, and Will is with Sound. So, is this rule even real? Apparently, it only applies when it’s convenient for the plot. And, for some inexplicable reason, if they win the Hot Wave, Gun and Tinn—our main couple—will finally be allowed to date publicly. Why? Who knows. The show never really explains. But hey, that’s the main plot, so we just roll with it.
Now, with a storyline this thin, there isn’t enough content to fill 12 episodes, so the show gives us a mix of cute romantic moments, solid musical performances, and a sprinkle of family drama. It's light, sweet, and aesthetically pleasing, even if it lacks depth.
Gun is a lovable goofball with a dream—he wants to become a famous musician to fulfill his late father’s wishes. He likes BBQ, he sings well, and he’s got that classic golden-retriever energy. Meanwhile, Tinn… well, Tinn likes Gun. And that’s pretty much all we know about him. His entire personality revolves around loving Gun and wanting to be a doctor, which—surprise!—is also because of Gun. Not exactly the most layered character development, but at least he’s consistent.
As for the side characters, they’re likable, though some feel a bit underutilized. Mark, in particular, is an absolute cutie, and his scenes are always a delight.
One of the biggest letdowns is the lack of actual romantic tension. The show is clearly not about intimate moments, which is fine, but it’s strange how they portray teenage boys in a relationship with almost zero physical affection. We’re not asking for a 15-minute steamy scene, but come on—these two have been pining for years, and their most passionate moment for half the series is… a kiss on a notebook? Tinn waited two whole years, moved mountains for Gun, and when they finally get together, he does nothing—even after Gun literally tells him he’s ready. At this point, their relationship feels less like romance and more like an overly dedicated friendship.
Despite its flaws, this drama is undeniably charming. It’s lighthearted, visually stunning, and features a great soundtrack. Fourth has a beautiful voice, and the musical performances are genuinely well done. The first six episodes are fantastic, though the second half drags a little—this could have easily been a tighter 10-episode series.
If you’re looking for a deep, emotional story, this won’t be it. But if you want something soft, fluffy, and visually pleasing, it’s a solid watch. Just don’t expect too much from the plot, and definitely don’t expect a realistic portrayal of teenage romance.

BEST HIGHSCHOOL BL
1 episode left and everything is so good. The acting of both Gemini and Fourth are very good. i love the plot because it has no the third person come to break the relationship. the way they communicate with each other is better than most university BL. very lighthearted with some heart-wrenching moments that makes you appreciate the story more. the acting of the supporting character is a bit low (i don't want to mention anyone hjsdh) but it is manageable to watch. the song in every episode is superior. AND RETURN OF 'THIS CITY'???? one of my fav thai song and Gemini sang it???? how i can rate it lower. Fourth is so young yet so talented depicting his emotion in his eyes and smile. Was this review helpful to you?
