Favourite BL Series

I've completed over 80 shows and, so far, this remains my favourite story. Definitely one where I feel like you need to watch a few episodes to really get hooked, but this is such a charming and slow-paced romance that it is worth putting in the time. By the time I got to about episode six, I was so emotionally invested that this could have become my unfinished business if I had died before finishing the series.
I would happily watch the lead actors in another series together, though I've not seen anything thus far to indicate that this is likely to happen in the near future.
Loved the music, and actually really liked the focus on temple culture as well.

Offbeat & quirky, but surprisingly heartfelt story..

The first couple episodes I was left scratching my head, but the great chemistry and performances of the 2 ML characters kept me watching.

I was pleasantly surprised by how this very quirky, awkward show managed to morph into such a sweet and touching love story between a high school delinquent and his college age tutor.

I also surprised myself by re-watching a few episodes only a few months after finishing the show. I don’t usually rewatch, but some of the scenes stuck in my head and I honestly missed this pair of cuties so much that I had to see them again.

This show is worth a watch- give it a chance♥️

The last few episodes threw me for a loop

When I started this drama I had a hard time watching it because there were a lot of awkwards scenes, but the last few episodes turned everything around.
First of all let's talk about the story. The story was very well made and I really enjoyed it. Even while skipping awkward scenes, (seeing how I literally hit myself when watching awkwardness I didn't think it was such a good idea to watch those) the story was still very easy to understand.
Like I said, the drama started out with a lot of awkward scenes. While I now understand why they were necessary, it still gave me a hard time watching this and it thus took me a very long time to actually finish this. I have to say that I even had the drama on dropped for a while there if I'm being entirely honest... But after a while I decided to start watching if again and boy am I glad I did.
Those last few episodes threw me for a whole ass loop. I went through 3 or 4 emotional rollercoasters. Especially the credits dancing scene from episode 11... That one actually made me cry, which I must say doesn't happen often.
Long story short, even though this drama started out very awkward, these were probably some of the best ending episodes I know.
Let's move on to the acting. The fact that the acting was so good that I could easily understand what the characters were feeling. Which is actually very hard to do. The only point in this serie where I thought the acting was awkward was the way noey's mum acted during the scene in episode 12 where noey asked thi to marry him. I found this very enjoying too look at, so if you get or got that far I recommend checking her out.
The rewatch value of this one was relatively low for me. I have a feeling like I'll rewatch the last episodes but probably not the rest because of the earlier told awkwardness. That's why made this one relatively lower.
The overall score is still high however, seeing how I really enjoyed watching this one.
Hope you have a nice day/night and I hope this was helpful. Goodbye👋👋

Unusual Plot, Even Better

I'm very picky when it comes to BL series, but 'I Will Knock You' broke my ideal type of BL series. One of the main cast members here is violent, and the other is portrayed as not very bright. I completed watching this series back in February of this year (2023). Surprisingly, every time I search for another BL series to rewatch, 'I Will Knock You' is always on my top list, even though there are lots of other popular, highly-rated, and well-regarded BL series available. I can't explain why I keep coming back here. Maybe it just perfectly suits my taste or preferences. Who knows? Haha.

The best BL series that I’ve ever watched. Addicting ❤️‍?

The best of the best BL series that I’ve ever watched.
Storyline is a masterpiece.
Cute , funny, narcissistic, traditional , simple lifestyle and reality life surroundings. Realistic.
Both main actors did well.
And the rest not bad.
AMAZING ❤️🥰
And I’m impressed with Tar Atiwat Saengtien as Noey Watphlu. He portrayed his role so well. Narcissistic, cute funny, lovely. I love the way his soft talk and gentle caring for his loved ones (family, lover, friends). And he’s being narcissistic is the cutest ever. He’s the type of character that I really love. And Tar Atiwat Saengtien is only 18. I’m crying. You’re my favorite now.

Bom Thanawat Uthaikitwanit as "Thi" Thiwa Ananbhuchai is also good. He’s so cute and innocent.
And he’s 29 but his face looks like a baby boy. How is that possible. Baby face indeed.

I’ve watched 12 episodes two times in a row. And guess what. I’m going to watch for the 3rd time now.
This is The first time BL series that I never skipped for minutes or so because of unnecessary scenes or anything else. I really enjoyed every minute even every second of this series. Never get bored of it. Yes I’m enchanted to Noey Watphlu.
This series is really So cute, funny. Made me laughing a lot , giggling , smiling and crying.

OST is so perfect and cute. And I love it. Already in my playlist now. This is the first time I’m enjoying the old 80’s like song.

I LOVE EVERYTHING in this series. Hope there will be season 2.

It will Knock You!

This series has a good vibes impact. The sense of humor of the characters, the style or fashion and of course I love the music of this series. I had a lot of fun watching it and all I could say is we can never really judge the book by its cover.
I recommend this series. You'll definitely love it and it would bring good vibes for sure.

What I like the most in this story is the unexpected moments. How the characters fell in love and how it will work, since they are so different with each other. The style, the attitude and gap of there age. It was unique because of the fashion and styles of the characters, especially the hair and clothes.

I have no dislikes in this series because it's fun and I love it.

trust the process!

the first couple episodes might be hard to get into, as IWKY it seems very slapstick comedy at first, but you truly have to trust the process and the storyline.

the characters are so charming as the drama advances, it’s really not even surprising this won an award. there is comedy, some great friendships, and a good use of vintage styles.

I truly enjoyed all the actors in this series, most of all thiw. he seems rough and abrasive but he is a big drive to the story working as well as it does.

only watch this if you like comedy and if you go into it with an open mind. you won’t like this otherwise. I loved all of this. and the ending, although missing things i would’ve liked to see, was still good, in my opinion.

one of the most fun BLs I’ve seen in a while.

Unique charm and care

I decided to give this one a chance. I thought for sure this would be a standard BL pulp but it was actually a lot more heartfelt than I thought it would be.

The plot line isn’t anything special but I think the show shines in it’s unique and interesting characters. Especially Noey, who’s eccentric and playful in a way I haven’t seen in a BL before (and I have watched a lot of BL lol). The leads both have decent character development, each teaching each other something over the course of the show.

Couple of negatives. The age gap. It’s noticeable and I wasn’t a particular fan. Noey looks like he’s 13 and Thi looks like an adult. The actors are of age but still gave me the ick.
Thi is kind of annoying. I’m usually fine with awkward characters but he made me especially cringe for some reason lol.

I actually liked the soundtrack. The show implies that Noey is interested in old-school music and films because of his late father. They showed instead of told us, so it overall just felt like good writing.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for something lighthearted. I probably won’t rewatch but it was a fun one-time watch.

Completely obsessed

I'm obviously biased when I say this drama has become one of my favorites for bls, they had so good chemistry that made me fall for their characters. The character development of Noey was amazing to see cuz he was such a troublemaker. Seeing Noey trying to improve himself was so cute. He was so stubborn, it was 1st for Thi cuz of his crush but when he started to become self-aware of how he used to be you can tell that Noey no longer wanted to be the person he was before he met Thi. He was so caught up in being too egotistical and chaotic that he never noticed the people he was hurting. It wasn't until his mother got hurt that he stopped and do better for himself and his family. Thi was just the trigger to get him to see that. Seeing them fall in love was so cute cuz Thi was so oblivious to his own feelings when he met Noey. I was a bit confused at the start if Thi had feelings for Noey that only Noey could see or if it was just a misunderstanding cuz Noey assumed Thi liked him and he kept bringing it up showing how cocky he was knowing he was good-looking. Eventually, Thi did start developing a crush on Noey as for Noey I think he was interested in Thi from the start especially cuz he was turned off by the idea that Thi could have been attracted to him. He looked like he enjoyed the fact that Thi was attracted to him that Noey didn't notice himself falling to Tho. I feel like Noey was projecting his feeling onto Noey when he would bring up when he thought that Thi liked him 1st when it was the other way around. It was only because Thi and Noey kept running into each other for the both of them to realize that were falling for one another but Noey was more obvious vs Thi was oblivious. At the end when they showed the time jump cuz they were living apart due to Thi going to study in another university I felt like they were rushing the ending I'm happy that Noey graduated from university and Thi and Noey got their happy ending but it made me wish the ending wasn't so rushed. The writers and directors should of given us more of a plot near the end. I doubt we'll get a s2 so it can feel complete but I'm just happy for Thi and Noey. If they hadn't introduced Thi's stupid parents who broke them up due to them not liking Noeys past of being in a gang and thinking that Noey was going to ruin Thi's life I feel like the ending wouldn't have been so rushed. I understand where Thi's family is coming from but they were judging a book by its cover without getting to know Noey 1st and refused to.

I will knock you ... its knocking itself out

The series is, to put it kindly, boring and predictable ... the story is childish, childishly constructed, as if someone desperately needed to fill a broadcast slot with nonsense, the acting is not even at amateur level ... mostly the acting of the actors is childish and stupid ... okay, maybe the actors are not to blame in the first place, but the story and the direction certainly are. This could have been done much better ... Watching the first 10 min of the 2nd episode finally gave me the rest ... I abandoned the time-wasting ridiculous amateurish series. Watching the show is time theft.
I gave a 1 as rewatch value as there had to something in ... its really not worth watching a 2nd time

Knock out

Honestly, I approached this series 80% certain I would lose interest. However, I am delighted to say that the opposite happened. I now look forward to each new episode like an insatiable fiend. I was instantly drawn to Noey's character simply because he isn't some sanitized prince in shinning armour. His character is conspicuously flawed but relatable and loveable all the same . I have also certainly enjoyed watching his metamorphosis. Overall, I love this series. I am certainly going to be rewatching this for years to come.

10 years difference

Bom Thanawat Uthaikitwanit is 27 and gonna play the one who is bullied, and Tar Atiwat Saengtien is 17 and gonna play the bully???
Bom must look very young as it's his first time.
I can't wait to see how the show is going to be. Hopefully it will be a mix a fun, love and of course, some drama.
1 week to go...
love y'all
