Layers of Truth
A very good crime mystery thriller with all the right ingredients. It features a heavy, burdensome atmosphere, mounting tension, and compelling characters, each carrying a hidden past that gradually shapes the central story. With several twists and multiple layers, the film takes the audience on an engaging journey to uncover the truth behind what happened with the white car —and why. This is not a blockbuster or a film that aspires to be a masterpiece. Instead, it is a simple yet effective psychological thriller in which the characters and their emotional depth drive the narrative. The cast delivers excellent performances, convincingly portraying their emotions and fully inhabiting their roles. If, like me, you like character-driven thrillers of this kind, you will almost certainly appreciate and enjoy this film.

Two women suddenly appeared at a hospital, one suffering a near-fatal injury and another lightly injured. Just when officers came in to find out what happened to them, they found out that one of them seemed to be suffering from schizophrenia, and the identity of the woman one claimed as their sister turned out to be false. Thus, the officers had to retrace all the steps and conflicting truths to figure out what actually happened to the two.
Honestly, I didn't expect to find so many layers and twists in this movie. And all of the twists were so brilliant that it took me off guard every time they were revealed. Like you can never quite be sure what would happen or predict how things could've unfolded. Certainly a very good treat for people who love mystery.
