one of the best in a while ❤
It would definitely be a mistake to think of this as a mere BL show, because it was much more than that.The cinematography is breathtaking, the story is no more no less than exactly what it should be, acting is really good, intimate scenes are perfectly done...
I recently found out that this is an indie production, which sky-rocketed my respect for everyone who had a part in producing this amazing series.
I will be keeping an eye on what they all will do next.
I loved it and I'm almost certain you will too..

Best kbl
The best actors and chemistry, story, musical scoring, cinematography and everything is just sooo beautiful. The moment that i saw the trailer I already knew its going to be a great drama. The actors acting are so natural. Every scenes they have together is so captivating and intense especially when they look at each other, they have so much chemistry. I love that the story also tackles about mental health, trauma and grief, family, friends, school and their relationship with each other. I like jihyuns character so much, he has so much love, understanding and patience towards jaewon, which u can rarely see today. Dealing with a loved one who has mental health issues aren't easy. Rushed ending without proper closures
The drama started great with a great plot and a promising storyline. The characters were developing properly and you could see why they were the way they are.However, I feel like the last two episodes did not do justice to the remaining episodes. It felt rushed; a lot of dialogue was unnecessary and at times, there was an absence of proper closure.
The main lead never really talked about why Sae Won distanced himself. Even if it was implied, it would have been better had they talked properly once. A simple kiss and a night together, suddenly everything is okay the next day.
Sae Won's interaction with his therapist also led nowhere. A lot of times, it could be felt that the dialogues between them made so sense. I wish he could have had a proper discussion with his therapist about his issues and how they could be properly resolved so that viewers could feel the emotional maturity and forgiveness that arose in the main character.
During the whole show, it was quite clear that Sae Won's friend was a red flag. He was jealous of Sae Won's family wealth and never really saw Sae Won for who he was. Things took a serious turn when he was even willing to suspend Sae Won and got pissed when he didn't get a suspension. This kind of attitude doesn't come from a single incident. It's a result of continuous jealousy and an inferiority complex, which I think the writer should have addressed more. The fact that Sae Won and he patched up so easily in the last episode made no sense.
I personally also disliked the idea of suddenly hooking up Yun Won and Jun Pyo in the last episode. It's like no seniors can find anyone of their age to date or hook up with.
I absolutely loved and adored the character of Ae Ri. I think her character made the most sense till the very end.

The chemistry between the two mains is 🔥. The soundtrack is 🔥. The cinematography is beautiful and significant to the storytelling.
What i loved most about T8S is that the characters' sexuality is not the conflict or the main plot. These are people with problems just trying to navigate life, and they also happen to be attracted to someone of the same sex.

This is a drama that tells you a story of love and the importance of having a support system
I rarely write a review and if I do, that means I really enjoy it and this drama brought so much joy, love, pain, understanding and finally, acceptance.The eight sense is a drama that will bring you to a roller coaster ride of emotions but overall will give you the satisfaction at the end. Also, this drama taught you the importance of having someone who can help you get through suffering, anxiety and depression as having a what you call, a support system will definitely lead you to happiness.

An amazing watch
Loved it immensely. The casting director deserves the raise. The chemistry between the main characters are amazing. The story is touching, performances are great, the indie vibes, the wonderful OST. But what is most important- it touches in all the issues which worry young generation - finding who you are, overcoming trauma, indescribable love which is infinite. And those visuals my god.. you can just watch it to see Im Ji Sub and Oh Jun Taek faces.. I am convinced that beauty will save this world. I am ready to rewatch it thousand times. What an amazing series by all the crew whether its actor, script writer, director or producers!!!!📖 Story/Plot
It is a good plot to watch. Somewhere in between you may feel that why its not happening or why the character is like this but just know that makes the story more interesting. Its a very simple storyline and talks about those emotions which people felt in our generations. If you are going to watch this for story, it will be a treat for you which is full of ups and downs of emotions so be ready for that. Script writer kept the story simple but interesting which kept the audience hooked till the end.
🎶Music/Ost
The music of this is amazing. when you will complete this series, in your mind, it just struck. So be ready for that. Music totally shows how the story is taking place.
🎥Director and Actors
The actors played their role amazingly. The chemistry between them is amazing. As a viewer, I want to see the couple more but in a bit happy storyline. The way director direct the whole series showing us the past of Jae Won and then both of their emotions is superb... A big applause for that!!!!!!!!
🏞️ Picturesque
If you want to watch this series for beautiful picturesque then you may not like this one, but the way it collaborate with the color coordination is amazing.
🏳️🌈At last, I will say go for it. Unless and until you don't watch, you won't get the feel of it. and yes its a happy ending of the series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s a masterpiece in every way
This show is one if not the best bl ever. It’s simply a masterpiece. It portrays a realistic and beautiful love story. I loved absolutely everything about this show: the tension, the natural skinship, the characters development, the friendships, the cinematography, the music, the silence, the feelings. The ending was so perfect that I cried because it ended.The actors did an amazing job of portraying the characters feelings, struggles and growth and I hope we’ll see them soon in the future. I also hope for a season 2 of this series or for another bl from these amazing screenwriters and directors.

This. Just this. I wish i could submit this review just by saying this. This one is so good! I thought i wouldn't be able to find any good Korean BL after blueming, but this!! Damn it's so good!The storyline is so so so so good, even compared to other K-BL who got adapted from manhwa. This one is just hits different.
I got a very very strong SKAM vibes on this drama, with the realistic characterisation and problems, the scene? So many similar scene! Like the last 2 episodes of this drama literally screams SKAM. They even did the iconic "the morning after" scene. (It's also been confirmed by one of the actors that they do watch skam for reference).
The acting? Phenomenal. The chemistry is THERE. Like you know no awkward move, and no awkward kiss. They actually go for it.
And the song? I was shocked when they use Conan's song! They got BUDGET. (And yet another skam reference? By using popular pop song).
Anyways, it's recommended. If you like skam, go for it! Totally worth your time!

People who don't know that this drama exists...I feel bad for them.
I can't stress enough how truely sad I am to know that there are people who dont know this drama exists. It bothers me because of how utterly beautiful this drama is and it deserves recognition. I truely believe this has raised the standard for the entire BL industry. It's just masterful storytelling. Every detail in this drama is amplified. The subtle movements, the light touch of fingers, and the knowing looks, is just absolutely STUNNING to see on screen. Actors Im Ji Sub and Oh Jun Taek have the ability to communicate their story with just a single look. It's such a quiet drama yet the tension and the desire between the two speak volumes. The absence of dialogue is poignant. When dialogue fails them and when words arent sufficient enough, it doesnt matter, there's no need for words as you can still feel the raw emotions as it's so overwhelming loud. This is what makes this drama unique to me. It's because of it's delivery. It's damn good acting with a damn good script. It's as simple as that yet incredibly hard to accomplish. This is my first 10 star review on MDL and not just for BLs but my first 10 star drama in general. It's that good. So if you are hesitanting, there is no need. This is the pinacle right here. THE GOLDEN STANDARD FOR ALL BLS
Was this drama without flaws? No, it wasn't. But for some reason this drama spoke to me like no other. I was captivated by the magnificent story, humane characters and emotional charge all the way through every episode. There were some themes that I wish had been more developed, there were some clichés and slip-ups script-wise but overall this was a drama that made me cry... no, not cry... bawl my eyes out at several times throughout its duration. I will gladly go back to these characters that are actually full-fledged and embark on logical and satisfying personal journeys which also blossom into a beautiful feeling. I love the way this show was written, the way it handled its tone and characters and although it is by no means perfect, it is now one of my favorite dramas of all time.Was this review helpful to you?
