FL also worked as a temporary wife for men in need of a temporary, contract marriage. “Love In Contract” was a comedy however. “The Trunk” seems like a dark thriller mystery.

Both shows have stipulation that dating is a main criteria for the contract to be binding .... whatever happens after is well.... you know .... lol

the couple also signed a fake marriage contract to address personal issues. but if love in contract is fun, this story is very sad.

This one feels like the more polished, emotionally restrained version of MHB’s premise.

SIMILAR VIBES
• Contract relationship is the core structure.
• ML is wealthy, emotionally closed off.
• FL treats romance like a business arrangement.
• Public image + private tension dynamic.

DIFFERENCES (MHB vs Love in Contract)
• FL is already a professional “contract wife” vs MHB FL stumbles into it.
• Tone is more mature and less chaotic.
• Comedy is subtle, not loud.
• No blind date sabotage origin story.
• Less workplace confusion drama.

Full of talent and charm, Choi Sang Eun is the living example of the perfect companion. It is precisely for this reason that instead of finding a husband, she has chosen to exploit her skills as a contract marriage manager.

I think a few scenes draw parallels to WWWSK,
like the leads being associated with each other for so long, FL saving up her earnings to go on a big holiday, ML behaving in a similar fashion & SML being a jerk etc.,

The stories are somewhat different, yet they have contract relationships in which the leads fall in love with each other.

Contract marriages for personal reasons. The leads fall in love during the contract.
The vibes are a bit different, but both are mainly focused on the contractual relationship

Both dramas revolve around contract relationships between the leads, which during the process one of them falls in love with the other. The stories are a little different, yet the main focus is the contract between them
