In 1934, on the eve of a strategic transfer of the Red Army to the Soviet Union, Shui Cong, who is visiting her family in Nanchang, is accidentally involved in a conspiracy to massacre the Nanchang underground party. During the operation, Shui Cong is saved by scout Chen Zi Ming, while her husband Xu Guang Xuan is covered up by his comrades and survives.
