A protagonist steps into what looks like a completely normal environment, only to slowly uncover that something sinister and organized is running underneath it all and everyone around him already knows.

Both dramas deal with people that are confronted with. place in the countryside, and a connected murder/disappearance. Both dramas have something suspicious going on in that village and a past that is somehow interlinked with the main characters lives. Both face some sort of shamanism/supernatural occurrences. Both dramas deal around a family that has a very mysterious past which gets more and more discovered throughout the drama.
Most of all, both dramas give of similar vibes.

Dark Dramas.

- said community involved in both dramas are keeping a secrets.

police investigation in a creepy village = folk horror masterpiece .

- Both mystery stories set in a rural village.
- Both depict how locals (particularly elders) nitpick on newcomers/youngsters.
- Both have unclear endings. One wasn't directly told, the other might have a sequel.
