Of course, this is nothing negative, but usually the relationship or first kiss comes around episode 10. Now I have this feeling that something bad will happen that will separate our main couple. Do you have any suspicions or are there any leaks of what we can expect? 

Agreed. It started so soon that the ep 8 kiss scene didn’t even feel exciting even though it was supposed to be super steamy (Hello Red Sleeve? PMY x GKP in Love in Contract omg *sizzles*). I think the romance is set up to propel Won’s maturity into being the CEO but meh. It’s all lackluster once Sarang and Won get together.

Not really.  Given that most Korean dramas are about 16 episodes long, this is the midway point.  I would say this is average start time for a romance drama.

Is there any benefit in relationships starting later on in dramas? Is it so there is no breakups after the leads get into the relationship? I cannot think of any reason later is better than sooner.
